The Plan

The smell of cinnamon powder, vanilla essence, and butter wafted on her nose. She is in the kitchen as she starts baking cinnamon rolls.

The preparation for the wedding party is making her back ache and feet straining by testing and trying her best dress for her upcoming wedding as King Alexander Spencer Arison's bride.

Yukie realized she couldn't leave the children behind even though she had a deal with her father that she'd only teach her students until Friday. She badly wants to meet the mysterious attractive gentleman on the flower farm asking for help and advice yet fate doesn't allow her to since her maids are trying their best to do their job as they obediently follow the orders of both King Harry and King Alexander.

Until an idea pops into her mind and that is she wrote a letter to King Alexander and summoned Heine to deliver the letter to the King itself. She wanted to take the risk as she had a secret plan.

While Yukie is mixing the ingredients, someone interrupts her work, one of their maids, Jessica.

"Your Highness, I know you love your job as you're diligently working here in the kitchen and I would love to help you." Jessica said as she grabbed the hair net to cover her hair.

"Oh sure sure Jessica. That would be a huge help. While I am busy making cinnamon rolls, why not make roast beef after the Turkey is cooked."

Yukie said while she spread the cinnamon roll fillings on the dough.

"And I forgot, Jessica, please make also garlic bread and Spaghetti Bolognese while I make chicken potato cream soup. You can call other maids if they want to help."

Yukie added as she gave Jessica a warm smile then went back to her job to roll the cinnamon roll.

Jessica felt happy cause Yukie was a kind person in their kingdom and she was saddened that she'd left their palace and would stay at the King of Adkins.

She can't help but worry a lot since she also hears nasty and dark rumors about the king.

But Jessica shook her head and started doing her job Yukie was also busy working in the kitchen, they helped each other and some maids and chefs also helped to bake and cook in the kitchen, preparing a feast and saying a last goodbye to the children.

"Oh dear Lord, if you hear my inner prayers, I badly need your help. Please give me the courage and strength to talk with my future husband." Yukie mutters only for herself while praying intently mentally while she is almost done cooking in the kitchen.

  **********

The children are very noisy and hyperactive with her as they give all their happiest expressions to Yukie since she announced to the children that the learning center will be closed and suspended.

Even though the children were sad about the news, they're still thankful cause Yukie gave her best and has been a wonderful teacher for 4 years. Yukie wants to continue her job as a teacher and community worker but her father is a powerful man.

Yet she needs King Alexander's help even if the rumors are true or not, she'll do anything to let the innocent children continue to be nurtured and given the proper education since Kingdom Derora is full of prejudice and judgment; which makes Yukie want to break off that ugly curse but how? She is not powerful like her spoiled brat younger sister.

After they all successfully finished their class, Yukie was frustrated and wanted to stop time and let their time spend with the children who were her happy pills when her biological family didn't love her and just ignored her like the air.

"Children, let's prepare ourselves and get hop on in the carriage. I'll take you to the place where my late mother owns a place and turn it into a monument, promise, that place is beautiful like my mother."

Their eyes are twinkling as the sparkles in their eyes keep blinking, even the color of their eyes is different, the message of the orbs completely shows that their excited about their last field trip.

Yukie checks the children one by one and gets inside the carriage, as she prepares 10 carriages and Heine is the servant's head. She was thankful Heine was there and he was the best leader for being a servant.

Heine will also be there at Yukie's new journey of life which is she'll live at the Kingdom of Adkins and he'll be there to protect her in case King Alexander raises his hand and chooses violence.

"Heine sorry I did not mean to pile up your work but I will spend my last days of teaching with my students before I say my final goodbyes to them." Yukie said with sadness that she doesn't want to end her career as a community worker and Heine felt bad too but what can he do?

His family also formed an important noble relationship with her father and Heine has no choice but to follow his command, even if it pains him to see his best friend given unfair treatment compared to her younger sister.

"It's fine Yukie, I am happy that you entrusted me enough, and even you'll be King Alexander's wife, if he hurts you, I am not afraid to draw out my guns and swords."

Yukie was surprised but she knew that Heine was the type of person whom they should not mess with, even though he is a servant at the Assfrior palace and Derora kingdom he is a lawyer.

Yukie is also inside where Heine is the coachman of the carriage. She talked with the young children around 5-7 years old. A single carriage is enough to bring 8 passengers but they're only 46 plus Yukie.

Others were used to deliver the food.

"Teacher! Teacher! Where are we going?" A ginger pigtail little girl with freckles on her cheeks named Melanie asked with curiosity as she tilted her head.

"We're going to the Peony Flower Farm, my Melanie." Yukie replied then she patted her head gently which Melanie giggled.

Yukie was confused to see her students puzzled reaction, which surprised her.

"Don't tell me you didn't know that place." As Yukie said that, all of them shook their head, giving a 'NO' answer which the princess maiden mentally facepalmed. Realizing how ugly and terrible the society of their kingdom is.

Derora is the second strongest kingdom after the Adkins.

The Kingdom of Adkins became stronger starting with King Alexander passing the throne and crowned as a King. He is the youngest king happened in the whole Royal History and Adkins was not really that strong.

Derora used to be the strongest kingdom not until King Alexander took the spotlight.

He also becomes a king after the war between Derora and Angguis has ceased, and that's when the time new king of Adkins starts to get distant and Derora and not on good terms.

Derora is more affluent than Adkins but the more Derora Citizens born to noble families and important aristocratic members, lots of them are also born destitute and homeless, poverty also exists in their kingdom.

Even though the rumors about King Alexander sound dark and controversial, she hasn't seen the king's physical features. King Alexander is a mysterious man and he didn't like exposing himself in public. The only members of the Assfrior who saw him personally are only her father and younger sister.

Heine also sees him for the first time when Yukie orders him to send a letter to King Alexander she wrote and he tells him he is an attractive man but with a cold personality.

She wasn't sure what is King Alexander's real personality but the princess maiden hoped that even if she and the King's marriage were fixed, they'd be on good terms.

Yukie won't expect anything from King Alexander in return but a good alliance and unity is what she wants from him.

After an hour of travel from the learning center, they manage to reach the outskirts of Derora and Adkins. When the children peeked through the windows from the carriage, a loud WOW and AWE escaped in their mouths and Yukie's smile widened.

The servants open the carriage door and the children quickly get out Yukie makes a long sigh sound, but she just lets them be since it is their first time visiting the Peony Flower Farm.

Their merry laughter and innocent smiles were all that she could see while the children were running and chasing each other and some children weren't sure if they were allowed to pick different colors and variations or peonies.

"Teacher, are we allowed to pick flowers?"

Yukie squats down as she carefully folds her vintage plaid long skirt with a stripe of black and moss green and her neon red lipstick painted on her plump lips curls into a smile while gazing at her students.

"Yes you can and since we are here, let's start with our community activities."

Yukie revealed a packet of peony seeds and some of the peonies came from bare roots when she opened the wooden box she brought earlier.

The students understand now why she said community activities.

"Let's do gardening for a while and pull out the unwanted weeds from the bed of peonies. To take care of this Peony Flower Farm and to respect my mother, Queen Kateleryn, we need to beautify this paradise garden and we can pick peony flowers after we do this."

Good thing for her students, they obediently follow her orders. Unlike some students who enrolled at the prestigious and expensive academy who are ill-mannered and spoiled rotten brats.

"So you are ready for this, my dear students?" Yukie asked her students.

  'YES, TEACHER YUKIE!"
