chapter 2 Emotions

After some time Mahera prepared breakfast on a small woody table at the corner of launch with somewhat broken chairs around it.

Her siblings got ready and came for breakfast.

While straightening the Eman hair, Eman asked Mahera while her gaze was at a middle-aged man who was sleeping soundlessly on a bed in the launch

"Big sister when did father came home"

"I don't know and I don't care, when he will not come home then I will tell you"

Mahera replied without any concern

Zaid, Zain, and Afzal looked at her with some concern in their eyes

Mahera also noticed that but she didn't say anything about One and a half minute, the launch becomes quite, to change the topic she asked

"Zaid today you should ask aunt Ayesha about the tuition fees. (Zaid is a tutor of Ayesha's children who lives at close distance)

Zaid replied:

" Big sister I will ask her but don't make high hopes you know

she talks and looks sweet but whenever I ask her for tuition fees it looks like I am talking with a deaf person or a wall"

Mahera helplessly said

"Okay fine you just ask her if she didn't listen I will make her listen so she can remember it clearly"

She looked at the wall clock and said "Now hurry and go...

if Eman and Zain became late they would have to pay fine."

She looked to Zaid and said" Today I might be late. So take the keys with you, Both of you will come home early from the college you can't hope that father will open the door"

Zaid and Afzal took the bags of Eman and Zain first they will go with them to their school after that they will go to college

Zaid is the second old to Mahera so when she is late he cleans the house and also makes the launch for his other siblings yet he is also the one who always takes a beat from Mahera what poor guy.

Mahera works at the small cafe as a receptionist her salary isn't that much but it is better than nothing.

Nowadays she is looking for a different job she has an economics degree but due to the poor background, she doesn't have got a job.

After closing the door Mahera looked at her father and she becomes really angry she comes near to his father tries to kick her but she stops

She takes a long breath and tries to wake her up but he acts like a dead man

Mahera comes closer to his ear and whispers "There is a wine in your room that I bought for you if you didn't go to your room now than I will make sure that you will never be able to drink it plus I don't have money"

His father wakes up and goes in the direction of the bedroom like a bullet from a gun.

Mahera only stares at her with jaw drop and blank eyes. After some time she becomes very angry to remember that and hits the chair next to her,

She sits on the next chair while holding her leg,

The tears fall on the floor from her eyes
