Path to Strength

This is the first book I am posting on this platform, so I ask for patience. My native language is not English, and I am not ashamed to say that I am using the so-called "Best Translator in the World" to help me with this work (DeepL translator). I was really trying to find fanfics that take place in the worlds of Baki, Kengan Ashura or the like, and although I found them, I only came across ones where the character gets supernatural powers that put him above any fighter from these worlds, and that frustrated me. A man needs to see two people fighting using their fists entirely, rather than creating interdimensional portals or something of that sort. So don't expect these kinds of powers here, because here there will just be the old way of solving problems. ---------------------------------------------------- It was a normal day for Yuji, going to school, then to the gym he was attending and finally home. A monotonous, but pleasant routine. There was no cause for pride, much less shame, so for the teenager that was enough. As always, everything was going as it should. That was until the moment when, looking in the mirror, the boy's whole perspective seemed to change. Facing someone who looked like him, but at the same time, was not him, Yuji sees himself in a similar world, but which is certainly not his. Crossover world of animes, including Tokyo Revengers, Baki, Kengan Ashura, Holyland, Hajime no Ippo and others that can easily be included in FF if readers have ideas.

Throwing Choyun's lifeless body in front of Eugene, Yuji sat down on a chair as he watched the Workers' leader adjust the glasses on his face.

"I think you did well." Eugene observed that body cautiously, his eyes narrowing as he saw that there was no sign of life. "And you don't seem to have shown any mercy either."

Yuji rolled his eyes at that. Although killing wasn't pleasant, he wasn't afraid to do it.

It would also help to make it clear that if Eugene didn't do his part properly, he would go to great lengths to destroy him.

He would make sure not to leave a single piece.

"Well, I congratulate you."

Waving for some henchmen to remove Choyun's body from the room, Eugene picked up an envelope from above his desk and moved to stand in front of Yuji.

"As promised by cooperating, here are some photos of Charles at the possible location where the hostages are being held. He may be cautious, but that doesn't mean his caution is infallible."

Taking the envelope from Eugene's hands, Yuji immediately pulled out the photos to see Charles Choi in what looked like an abandoned factory.

The factory seemed to be covered in vegetation, a dense forest surrounding it which indicated that it was far from any means of civilization.

"Where is this place?" Still analyzing the photos in his hands, he asked without looking away.

Eugene, seeing Yuji's interest in the images, gave a confident smile.

"We don't know yet, but we can find out. We just need a little more time."

Yuji didn't react, his eyes narrowing as he put the photos back in the envelope.

"What do you want?"

He immediately realized Eugene's intention, and he would play his game for the time being, at least until he lost patience or got the information he needed to find Gaeul.

"You seem to have understood quickly." Smiling, Eugene adjusted his glasses as he returned to his chair to sit down. "I need you to do one more job."

"Just say it." Demanding, Yuji relaxed in his chair as he looked at Eugene. "Don't waste my time."

Nodding in agreement, Eugene continued after a sigh.

"It seems there are some figures snooping around some of my secrets, and they've been a stone in my path for some time."

With a dangerous glint appearing on his lips, Eugene turned to Yuji.

"Then I want you to eliminate them."

.

Two days had passed since the last conversation with Eugene, and Yuji had finally decided to move on to the next job.

With no information from Allied, or any other information from Eugene, he decided to use the photos to try to locate the abandoned factory on his own.

But it turned out to be a failed search, even if he was able to search an entire province.

So, without much else to do, he decided to comply with Eugene's request, much to his own chagrin.

"A plastic surgery hospital?"

Stopping in front of that huge building, Yuji realized that it was the first branch Eugene had mentioned.

"Damn, I can imagine all kinds of shit happening in this place."

Sighing, he approached the hospital, immediately noticing when a man in a lab coat noticed him.

"You must be Yuji Shinakawa." Approaching with a friendly smile, the man raised his hand in greeting. "I'm Gyeol Baek, it's a pleasure."

Yuji, who had taken a good look at the man in front of him, frowned in disgust.

Being able to see people's aura, he was able to distinguish someone's character with just a single glance.

And the man in front of him was disgusting. His aura wasn't powerful, but his perversity was oppressive in itself. He quietly compared himself to some of the people he had met on "The Inside".

"Just tell me what to do."

Slapping his hand away, Yuji continued walking into the building, leaving a frozen Gyeol behind.

Even though he wasn't the best-intentioned person in the world, Yuji didn't like being in contact with someone like Baek. The only exception was Raian Kure, whom he hadn't killed just because of Karura.

Otherwise, he wouldn't mind killing them.

But while he was still a good citizen, he would just stay away from these kinds of people...

.

After being given a tour of the entire hospital, Yuji was finally taken to the dark area of the first branch, an old building just behind the hospital.

Used as a means of imprisoning high-society patients, considering them insane despite being completely sane.

Yuji understood that although it wasn't an illegal act, since it was signed by family members who wanted to steal the patients' wealth, it was still completely wrong.

The guards responsible for looking after the patients also beat them on a daily basis, which was the main factor that made them illegal.

Yuji couldn't help but find the situation appalling.

'Damn, these guys are crazy. How hard is it to make money honestly?

Sitting on a bed in the staff quarters, Yuji relaxed while looking pensive.

Eugene had told him to wait for an attack, so he didn't have much to do.

So he decided that he would sleep until he was asked to.

Even though he and Eugene were cooperating, he had no intention of doing things willingly, so he didn't bother patrolling, which is what Baek wanted.

He thought it best to rest, and with the door to the lodge locked, he wouldn't have to worry about being attacked in his sleep.

"I wonder how the girls are?"
