Chapter 1

It was a beautiful night, when I decided to spend the night at the library to enjoy the silence. It was peaceful nothing to stress or worry about.

I was sitting at a corner on the first floor reading books that caught my attention. A few hours later I saw a bright light. It was so bright, impossible to ignore.

"What's that?" I thought to myself, shutting the book in my hands.

The closer I got the light deemed, it wasn't as bright as before. It was like it was calling me.

When I was standing in front of the light, it was floating in front of a book. I step forward and stretched my hand towards the book and the light faded away, but the book started to glow.

I tried taking the book, but as soon as I touched it the shelf moved opening a secret passage.

"Is it save to walk in?" I wonder, thinking about it for a while. My curiosity got the best of me as I wanted to know what was at the other side.

The passage was really dark, but as I got closer to the other side, it seemed like the sun was shining even though it was night a moment ago.

I kept walking to know what was going but suddenly I heard someone speak.

"Who are you"

Startled and shocked I looked around asking "W-who is there?", with a stutter trying to recover from the shock.

"I am a guardian of this place" the unknown replied.

"I as the guardian, who protects this place can not allow strangers to enter" they proceeded.

"I am not a stranger" I said without thinking. After I said that there was silence for a few seconds.

"..uh.. well.." I said trying to come up with something.

"You should go back to where you come from. Before I have to dispose of you"

"Don't worry I am not a bad person", I responded, "I just want to go through the gate and visit"

"I can not allow that" replied the unknown

"Then I will have to do it myself", I said determined, while running towards the gate.

The unknown teleported me in front of him.

H-how did you do that, I asked in disbelief.

Without giving me an answer the unknown person said "I have to fulfill my duties".

"What are you talking about?" I asked in confusion.

Without replying they teleported a scythe into his hand.

I was about to say something they put the scythe tip on my neck, shutting me up, so I decided to step away, but I accidentally tripped and fell on my arm. Luckily I did not break my arm.

The unknown person was about to hit me with the scythe.

I Instinctively closed my eyes preparing myself for the worse.

"Is this really how I die" I questioned myself with a few tears falling

"No, I don't want to die here" after thinking that, I immediately opened my eyes.

As I opened my eyes the scythe was so close to touching my face.

Out of fear I almost passed out.

I was half conscious do to that, but somehow gathered the strength to yell "Stop!!".

After I yelled stop I can't remember what had happened next.
