A picnic day- part 1
SHAWNA'S POV:
I was sitting on the corner of the bed waiting impatiently for my grandmother and dad. I was scared of thinking about what should I tell them? Do they know about Ben Dunnie? No, they cannot know about him possibly, Nobody knew about him yet apart from my friends. I was a little afraid of thinking what if Jennifer and her friends saw him, but I was relieved to hear they were unconscious at that time.
I was waiting while looking at the door impatiently when Grandma comes inside along with dad. She immediately rushed to me while hugging me saying-" Oh my dear, I was so scared when I heard about the incident."
She looked at me, carefully trying to locate any bruises, to check if I am hurt. I gave her a smile of assurance saying-" Grandma, I am okay, I am your granddaughter nothing can hurt me until you all are with me." I looked towards Priam and said-" Thanks to him, If he didn't come on time, I would have..."
Dad quickly said in a worried tone-" No, don't tell that Shawna, I have already lost your mother, You are the only precious thing left to me, I cannot lose you at any cost, my daughter"
I gave him an assured look and replied-" dad! I am absolutely fine, and I am not leaving you guys"
Grandma took out her wand and cast a spell towards me-" Bonus salus"
I could feel myself getting better already, She cast a spell to cure any injuries if I had any, and for good health.
Grandma walked up from my bed towards Priam and gave him a warm hug when he shyly looked down accepting the love from her. Grandma broke and hug and looked at him and said-" How could I say thank you young man for saving my little princess? "
He couldn't say anything and kept smiling and looking towards me.
She continued-" You are a fine young prince and I am sure you will be a wise king someday. Though you didn't let me know that what should we do to return the favor, I give you my words that whenever or whatever you want I will accept any of your wishes"
She handover a red ribbon towards him, while saying-" This is a queen's promising thread that will allow you to grant any wish, at any time, any day."
He gladly accepted it and nodded with a smile while Grandma walked away from him and came back, she and dad patted my head and loved me for a long time while I told them how Dekker turned to be the slave of Lady Georgia. They gasped when they heard how he trapped me and Junnie.
Dad hugged me tightly when he pecked my forehead. Of course, I haven't told them yet about Ben Dunnie. I am sure this time I wasn't wrong, doing so. Until he found out what he was searching for I must keep it secret. I looked at Priam and he gave me an assurance look that he will support me in this.
And now, when my friends are with me, I do not fear anything anymore. I believe anything is possible when your friends are with you to support you. And I am lucky to have them by my side.
We were talking and goggling when Priam asked suddenly-" Grandma?"
She turned around and replied looking at him-" Yes dear?"
Priam said while looking at them-" I have something to ask for your permission"
She smiled and replied-" Yes sure, go ahead and ask prince"
He asked while shyly looking down-" Can I take her to my palace for one day? For a picnic?.. I just thought.. it would be good to get a change in the environment for her...". He looked at granny and dad.
He looked a little nervous while asking this, he said-" I mean all our friends will come along, Junnie, Brad, John, and Jenny too"
Dad chuckled at his behavior and replied looking playfully towards me-" Well, I have no objection for you, now, if princess, agreed you can take her..."
He immediately looked at me while I can see his eyes were shining bright asking for permission, My eyes widen when suddenly he looked at me like that. I blinked a few times before I slowly nodded my head and he smiled.
TWO MONTHS LATER
Time skipped after two months, as we finally got a holiday from school, and finally, it's time in the morning when we are getting ready to get on the chariot towards his castle.
Jenny walked along with her big bag while John sighed looking at her. He asked-" Jenny we are not going for a year, It's just for a day!! why do you have to bring this big bag?"
Jenny replied with a straight face-" Well, I think You guys have forgotten that we have exams soon these are some books... I need on my way"
John nodded his head in disbelief and after he smirked while he said almost whispering-" Do you think you would get free from me to read all this?". Jenny looked at him with confused eyes as she shrugged off.
He looked at us as he made sure nobody heard him, He put up a straight face as he kept the bag inside while making the way for her to get inside. Brad walked towards us while holding Junnies hand as she was limping. I can see he is taking care of her. I think they both started to like each other. I smirked thinking so while Priam came all of a sudden and whispered from behind in my ears-" Missing me?"
I almost flinched at his sudden action, while I can feel his hot breath in my ears which gave me shivers down the spine. I gulped and turned around when I almost got a heart attack to see his face was so close to mine. I blushed as soon as I saw him smile looking at me like that. Oh god!!! Shawna calms down. I cannot let myself embarrass in front of him until I make sure what he feels about me.
He smiled at my flushed face, I guess he saw how red was my face after this incident, he cleared his throat and pulled a straight face as he asked-"Come, let's go shall we?". He forwarded his hands.
I shyly gave my hands to him while looking down when I can feel my heart beating so fast. Oh god, I wonder how much control he has over me that I get so nervous around him. But I liked the way he treats me every time, It gives me butterflies. I smiled as I followed him.
We got in the chariot when it drove us towards his palace. After some time we reached his palace. We looked toward his palace with awestruck at the beautiful scenery before us.
Junnie asked-" Wow, I can't believe this is your palace.!!!! I have never come to WitchWorld before"
Priam smiled while proudly looking at his palace and replied-" Well, here you are, welcome to the country of WitchWorld."
Brad and John stood beside him while admiring the beauty of WitchWorld. I came down and looked around, it was different than my kingdom WhichDom. It looked 3 times bigger than our kIngdom. The castle was situated on the upper hill of the land while giving an absolute view of nature. The sun rays were falling on the palace glass windows making them reflect so bright. The waterfall which was visible from his palace added the most amazing views and while looking down as far as we can see is his kingdom. I finally realized his kingdom is bigger than ours. One of the three big kingdoms. While ours were second making him the number one. I have never got the chance to see the WitchLands and kingdoms more than my kingdom as long as came here. We kept admiring its beauty as we walked further. While we are walking towards the entrance I could see the guards bowing towards us, or rather him, their future king, I looked at him from behind, and unknowingly a smile curved into my lips making me think of him as the future king and being proud of it already. I shrugged off the thoughts when we finally reached inside the palace, at the court of WitchWorld, where we met his parents for the first time.
Priam stood at the center of the court while bowing down before his parents, while we stood behind him. He said-" Greeting to the King of WitchWorld from the Prince, Priam Wallboard. Greetings to the queen" He added.
Brad, John, Jenny, and Junnie bowed before them while wishing them too-" Greetings to the king and queen of WitchWorld"
I was still amazed and taking a look at his palace while Junnie poke me a little bringing me back to myself.
I immediately bowed at them while wishing-" Greetings to King and Queen of WitchWorld. I am Parshawna Macduff, princess of WitchDom" I said with an embarrassed look.
They smiled back at us accepting our greetings while The King replied-" Welcome children, to the country of WitchWorld. I am delighted to meet you all. Please have a seat"
We took a seat in the court while I looked at the King and the Queen. The King looked like a brighter sun in the sky with his proud and wise smile, He was wearing his royal dress to make him look like a wise king, His gentleness and his behavior made it obvious. He was holding his great sword which was accompanied by admirable and valuable stones. The queen, his mother was such a grace and beauty as a morning star. She was different than my mother, but still, I felt somehow a warmth in my heart as soon as I saw her
The Queen walked towards us while hugging Priam and showering with all her love and kisses. when she is fully satisfied she left him, while he whined like a baby probably because maybe he is embarrassed. He said-" Mother... We are at the court.."
She chuckled as she replied-"Well, that is why you must call me by my proper name, which is Mom". She ruffled his hair as he gave her a done look. He hugged her with a cute smile as she patted his pack. He looked like a little bear who was hugging his mother.
I secretly chuckled looking at him. when the queen walked towards us and gave us a warm hug to Jenny, Junnie, and me.
She said-" I am delighted to finally meet you all, Specially princess Parshawna, You have no idea, how many stories he has told us about you.". She looked at Priam who was standing there with his flushed face who looked at his mother with shock hearing how she is opening his secrets.
I shyly looked down as I didn't know what to answer her. I was a little shy while thinking he talked about me to his parents, and it feels too great to meet with them. They were humble and hospitable.
The queen called out -" Guards?" Quickly two maids came there, along with two guards on their behind. they bowed to the queen and stood looking down.
The queen said with a gentle smile-" Take them to their rooms"
She looked towards us and said-" Take rest and get fresh up, then afterward come down we shall have the lunch together"
We nodded while the guards guided us towards our respective rooms.
