This was the moment when Adel, the sixteen-year-old, knocked on the door to go out with her, and he was... truly taken aback by what he saw.
His heart pounded violently, threatening to escape from his chest. It was his first time becoming captivated by someone of the opposing gender...
Gabrielle donned a black collared coat with a white cotton sweater underneath, and her outfit was remarkably identical to Katrina's, but more modernly designed.
She wore a short black skirt, exceedingly charming black-laced tights, and a pair of bright red shoes that mirrored the light that shone upon them.
When she approached Adel, her loosened long hair was elegantly spread across her shoulders, and her shining face radiated the youthfulness of a teenager, with a blush evident on her cheeks.
His gaze, however, only had a hint of lust, as he looked at Gabrielle's figure from top to bottom, over and over.
Gabrielle let out an awkward cough, which got Adel back in his mind, as he smiled awkwardly at her, shaking his head.
He couldn't help but think that she truly looked like a goddess who had descended to the mortal world in her current attire.
As for the aura that resembled Katrina's... it was poison!
It wasn't exactly poison... but rather, her figure was too poisonous!
Sigh, you're the abyss that entices individuals to commit sins... Even with my tempered heart from martial arts, which wouldn't allow me to harbour thoughts for the opposite gender, made me act like this in front of you... —Adel gasped, as he chuckled bitterly in his heart.
He hadn't started cultivating, but rather purged all unneeded emotions and only used them to train his martial arts to perfection.
However, it was only a goal for the current him.

"You're late, but this doesn't look like what a gentleman would do." Gabrielle teased, surprising Adel and jolting him awake from his stupor.
"Do I look like a gentleman to you?" Adel inquired, his tone playful. Instead of looking at her eyes alone, he now focused on her ample assets.
Gabrielle flushed rapidly, her face turning crimson red, before yelling, "Nevermind, you're undoubtedly a pervert!"
Adel looked unconcerned. Right now, they were simply teasing one another. "Since you know me so well, why do you still dare treat me, the pervert, to a meal?" he teased.
"Well... well..." Gabrielle blushed even more as she couldn't utter a single sentence.
Adel chuckled, before returning his gaze to hers, unsure whether he should take her hand in his or not.
Gabrielle returned to her normal self, nodding and dropping her head to conceal the visible pink hue on her cheeks.
Adel came before her, clutching her hand tightly, scared she would let go, and then walked slowly without saying anything.
Gabrielle, too, silently stared at the ground as they walked, too flushed to let out a word.
-
Gabrielle didn't talk to Adel about the other stuff. She was too busy explaining the many types of shops on both the left and right sides of the street. Adel didn't mind because he let her do the talking while frequently commenting on her words, and nodding his head.
After a while, they came to a halt, and Adel scratched his head awkwardly, saying: "Uh... Gabrielle... So, where should we go from here? "
He didn't live here, so he naturally had no idea where to go...
Gabrielle regained her composure after hearing Adel, and pointed to an old-fashioned street a few meters ahead of them, saying, "Let's go, I'll treat you to a meal today. It's on me. On that side, there's a noodle store. "
Adel and Gabrielle proceeded along a street lined on both sides with small stores and decks. Every now and then, the citizens would cast a glance towards the two. After all, the two were too eye-catching.
As they followed the long road, the usual white clouds transitioned into gray as a result.
At the time of the date, which was around 7 p.m., they had been talking for more than two hours.
They were soon at the entrance of an alley, which was lit up by a few fluorescent lamps, while also enjoying each other's company.
Gabrielle took Adel to a store with the enormous sign "Nil's Noodle Shop" on top, and as she approached an old man straining noodles, she yelled, "Uncle Nil!"
The man known as 'Uncle Nil' raised his head and smirked. "Gabrielle, you've arrived! I've been thinking about you. You haven't visited in a long time! "
"Yeah, I've been quite busy lately with school and other things. How about you, How are you doing lately, Uncle Nil? " Gabrielle inquired as she took a step forward. She looked like she knew a lot about Uncle Nil.
After a brief conversation with Gabrielle, Uncle Nil's face turned suspicious as he stared at Adel, "Gabrielle, aren't you going to introduce him to me?"
"This is my friend, Adel." Gabrielle said nervously, her face flushing as she continued, "I brought him here today specifically to eat your ramen. I informed him that this had to be the most delectable cuisine in the city. We're also on a... date."
Her last words were like a whisper, but loud enough for the two of them to hear them.
Uncle Nil laughed and said, "Oh, so that's how it is. Sigh, you've grown far too quickly; you already have a boyfriend. " Uncle Nil said, while pinching Gabriellie's cheeks slightly.
"Uncle Nil, he's not my boyfriend," she said, her face flushing, "We're still in the midst of our first date... Because other restaurants are too boring for this date, I decided to bring him here."
"Just because he isn't your lover today doesn't mean he won't be in the future," Uncle Nil smirked. He then turned to gaze at Adel before making different hand movements that made him look amusing as he added, "Kid, try harder! In my whole life, I have never encountered a lady her age who is more gorgeous and sweet than Gabrielle. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance that you must not pass up."
"However, if you bring her any harm, I'll hunt you out wherever you are in this world!" In a serious tone, Uncle Nil said.
Adel gave a serious nod. He would later learn after he became a cultivator that he was a second step cultivator on the run from certain individuals, which is why he was hiding here.
He had no connection with Gabrielle. He was just taken with how adorable she was, and always favoured her when she come to him. Of course, not sexually.
Gabrielle quickly dispelled the tense mood with a pout, as she stated, "Hmph! Uncle Nil, why do you always bully me? Just get us the noodle bowls already!"
Uncle Nil mischievously winked at Adel, who nodded with a smile as the two—Adel and Gabrielle—began a fresh conversation.
Time soon passed, while the two were engrossed in their own conversation, a shout came from within the restaurant, "The noodles are here!"
It was naturally Uncle Nil, who carried two large bowls of newly-cooked ramen over.

Adel sighed and shook his head. His previous contact with Gabrielle was identical to his current encounter with Katrina. He decided to take her on a date similar to the one he had with Gabrielle in the past...
He turned to face Katrina ahead of him as he began to speak...
