Bella reminded her, "Sophia, Meggie asked you who the person standing behind you was."
"Oh," Sophia snapped out of it and quickly said, "That was my mother. She accompanied me here."
Meggie rolled her eyes, "Why did you bring your mother to see me? Are you afraid I might eat you?"
Sophia's heart pounded, and she hurriedly shook her head, "No. My mother was worried I might anger you because I'm young, so she came with me."
Meggie closed her eyes and coldly asked, "How old are you?"
"Twenty-four."
"Twenty-four?" Meggie sneered, "You don't look like a 24-year-old woman."
Sophia couldn't understand the meaning of Meggie's words. Without Grace by her side, she felt very awkward.
Was Meggie saying she looked much older?
But this dress was supposed to make her look pure and cute.
"Ha," Meggie exchanged a glance with Bella and laughed lightly, "Not only is she a fool, but she's also half mute."
