Belle's Point Of View

Aunt Lily started her chemo and radiation last week and Leah visited also. I feel so light-headed today so here I am sitting at the staircase. I tried to stand up but felt a pang of pain in my back. These days the symptoms of my illness are always nose bleeding, and I got bruises quickly.

I looked at Nalu and she's playing with the teether I bought yesterday. I'm taking care of Nalu since last week. She's a great company and I think she's my happy pill now.

"Charles, can you help me with these laundry baskets?" I heard Aunt Amy

Argh! My head is aching so much. I sigh and I heard footsteps so I look around and I saw mama Isabelle walking towards me. I tried to stand up again but the pain in my back is unbearable.

"Belle..." I heard her

"What now?" I ask angrily

"Can we talk?" She asks

"We're already talking," I said

Not being able to move. She sat beside me and touch my back and it hurts even if it was a soft touch.

"Don't touch me" I shout

I didn't mean to shout but it really hurts. I stood up and walk downstairs and went to the garden. The day just started but the heat of the sun can burn you because it's the summer season. I sit on the swing and Nalu is with me still playing with her toys.

I saw Charles watering the plants and flowers that Mom grew. Dad said Mom loves flowers; especially tulips. I love roses, white roses to be exact. Dad raised me by telling stories about Mom and I enjoyed it.

Cloud was dark. The wind is strong. The day started with bright sun that you can feel it burning your skin. Nalu plays with the hose, Charles's holding so I laugh

Charles looked at me looking pissed so I give him a peace sign. I was about to laugh again but he sprayed water on me and he starts laughing. If life was only playing and laughing that would be easy. I snatched the hose in his hands and sprayed him with water. Nalu is barking and jumping I'm thinking she's enjoying the water

While laughing and spraying water at each other, rain starts to pour. I turned my gaze on Charles and he was looking at me so I caress his face and seal his lips with mine. He responded to my kiss and hold my waist

I pulled off our kiss and gasped for breath. I wrap my arms around his neck. He hugged me and kiss the top of my head and whisper something

"God, Belle! I can't stop liking you. Ever since I finally met you, the world stop turning sounds cringe but I think this is like at first sight." He chuckles and so did I

"Like at first sight huh?" I chuckles

"CHARLES!!!" I heard a loud scream and I saw a girl from Charles's back

"Celeste?! What are you doing here?" He ask

I moved away from Charles and looked at the woman in surprise. She's holding a big bag and umbrella because what I said it's raining

"Who is she?" The girl named Celeste ask

"I'm Belle, the owner of the house. Who are you?" I ask

"Celeste, Charles's girlfriend" I'm confused

I looked at Charles with so much anger and confusing look and slap him hard on the face. "Cheater!!" I said angrily and went inside the house carrying Nalu

Nana Amy tried to talk to me but I'm more like running towards the staircase just to get inside my room and let out this anger that filling my inside. I locked my room and went inside the bathroom. I bathed Nalu and dried her fur and when she's dry I took my bathrobe and towel.

God, why do you always let me run into a guy who's cheating? I scrub my lips so much and it end up bleeding. When I finished taking a bath I opened the bathroom door not looking outside. I pick up my toothbrush and put some toothpaste there and I start brushing my teeth

I'm surprised to see Charles's on the mirror. I stare at his eyes and he...he fucking back hug me. If a doctor will use their Stethoscope to hear my heart it'll be tachycardia. I bend down to rinse the toothpaste in my mouth. My eyes grew bigger when I realized the thing I did and I saw his shock face and his neck is red as tomato. I have nothing underneath this silk bathrobe.

I remove his arms around my waist and turn around on him.

"What do you need cheater?" I ask angrily

"She's not my girlfriend. She's my cousin. She's Aunt Amy's daughter" He said

Did he stutter? No.

"Oh yeah?" I ran my fingers from his arms to his shoulder

"Yes" His jaw is clenching

"I don't have a girlfriend, Belle. And I want to court you" He said it almost running out of voice

I wrap my arms around his neck. I tip toed and whisper in his ears. "Don't court me"

"Why not?" He asks and I felt his grip on my waist

"Because once you kiss this lips, you're already mine." I tip toed again and peck on his side of his lips

"Now, do you want to get out because I'm going to get dress or do you want to see me naked?" He didn't move

I unleash the leash of the bathrobe and remove the bathrobe on my body. He cover his eyes with his bare hands and walk toward the door and leave. I lock the door and I realized what I have done

"Why did you say that, Belle. Argh" I touch my face and I know I'm blushing

How will I get down now? I teased Charles. I teased Charles. OMG! I wear an gray over sized shirt and a cycling short. It's almost lunch and I heard Dad's voice behind my door.

"Dad, I'm not hungry" I lied

I haven't eaten since morning and I'm hungry

"Belle, Leah is here" I opened the door

"Where is she?" I ask

"Downstairs" I gulp

I go downstair and I saw Leah talking to Celeste. I walk toward her and pull her arm. I looked around I saw Charles in the kitchen

"Am I forgiven?" She asks

"Whatever. My problems is I kissed Charles and I told him that he's mine" I whisper

"YOU KISSED CHARLES?!?!?!" She shouts

I looked around and all eyes are on me
