Chapter 73: The Double Agent
Scarlet's Point of View:
"Thank you so much. It really means a lot." I smiled at the woman who just congratulated me.
"I'm happy for you!" She walked away and I sighed. I was happy—but I was tired of everyone congratulating me! How many times am I supposed to say thank you?
Haha, that sounded stupid.
I got a notification on my phone so I took out my phone and went to the side. It was a message from an unknown number.
"I know you're at Le Bain club."
"Um, who is this?" I replied back to the weird text.
"I suggest you get back to your house and hide under covers if you want to make it to your wedding."
I gasped at the threat and looked around for Max. Of course, I needed to tell him about it. He will probably deal with it himself or he will tell me what to do.
Finally, I found him standing by the bar.
"Max!"
He turned toward me with a smile painted on his face. "Scar."
