Chapter 82 - Reactions 

Samantha let her eyes follow the youth who had entered the stage. 

As the youth's teacher, Carl Craze had automatically grabbed her attention. After all, most students would have ascended immediately the day of the opening ceremony. Also, while there were numerous students in the academy, future ascended students were supposed to stand out. 

However, from what he gathered, Carl Craze was by no means never worth looking at. He was even a candidate for expulsion. 

But on the day of the opening ceremony, he was absent. This was very normal, and usually meant that the student was dropping after all. 

However, the youth was not dropping after all, and had suffered a life-threatening incident on the first day, impeding him from attending. 

This continued for days, until there was suddenly an unexplained absence for a few days. 

And this was when the situation began to get different.
