Mario cursed, and immediately rushed out of the balcony, trailing right after them in the set of stairs attached to the building.

But Sharon and Alex was worried for the younger boy more than letting their targets escape.

After all, it was pretty obvious that Carl was suffering in serious pain.

"Go. I'm okay. We need to have someone to guard Gamblin too."

Carl then said to Sharon and Alex.

Sharon felt like there was more to this, but she immediately prepared to go. After all, she cannot let Mario just chase after them by himself. After reasoning it out, she went down the outdoor stairs attached to the building and trailed too.

The next second, Mario reached the second floor and jumped from the stairs. His legs seemed to bulge in the air and landed on the street, accelerating slightly faster. As he was running, he could be heard shouting curses towards Jill and Mason who had activated their breathing techniques.
