Vacation to the Dwarves

Akira was sitting on his throne, thinking about his next step.

Should he conquer the Dragon Republic, establish a good relationship with the Holy Kingdom, or destroy the Slane Theocracy?

Before Akira concluded, he heard a knock on his door.

"Come in, and you don't have to knock, you know."

"I-I'm s-sorry Akira-sama, please f-forgive the intrusion." it was Mare.

"Hmm? It's okay, is there something you wish to ask, Mare?"

"A-Ah, Demiurge-dono asked for me to deliver this dwarf to you," Mare said as he hurled the dwarf on the floor. "please be polite to Akira-sama," Mare said as he left

"That child... do you want something with me?" Akira asked.

"Forgive me, Akira-sama! This lowly dwarf has something to report! Apparently, our runesmiths are important?"

Of course! How could Akira forget! Even in the LN, the powers of runes has not been properly explained, even though it might be weak, it could still be buffed up with 12th tier magic!

"That is indeed important information. You can return to your country now."

"Ah, forgive this lowly dwarf! I plead you to save our country from the Quagoa and the Frost Dragons!" The dwarf said while kowtowing on the ground.

"Ah, I forgot about that. I have probably passed the timeline of the LN." mumbled Akira. "Sure, just bring me all of your runesmiths into Nazarick when I save your kind."

"Of course! This lowly dwarf thanks you!" the dwarf said quickly and practically ran out of the throne room.

Akira decided to take Shalltear and Aura with him, just like Ainz. However, Akira did not take the Hanzos with him. Instead, he just took several Samaels with him and decided to call it a day.

Upon receiving his message, Shalltear and Aura joyfully agreed to accompany Akira on his journey.

Akira and co. took a slow pace, as Akira wanted to see or himself the beauty of nature that Ainz had described.

"Wow, he wasn't wrong. Beautiful isn't enough to describe this." Akira said breathily.

Suddenly, Akira got a vision of his old world. Of the beautiful nature of Japan, and mountains and the trees and the fresh air. A wave of unexpected nostalgia hit him. Akira decided right then and there that they should have a picnic.

"Shalltear! Aura! Come on, let's have a picnic." Akira called.

As "Shalltear and Aura sat down on a magically created blanket, Akira pulled out a pitcher of lemonade and some sandwiches for them. Shalltear and Aura were a bit surprised at how their lord was acting, but they thought it was a nice change, and enjoyed the meal themselves.

When they were about to finish their meal, a troop of Quagoa ambushed them and surrounded them. Of course, Akira and co. saw them coming from a mile away, and knew that there were also Frost Dragons accompanying them.

"Don't move! You are now prisoners of the Great Frost Kingdom!" said a Quagoa.

"Damn, these are annoying little buggers. Fine, take me to your leader." Akira commanded.

"...Are you and idiot? We said the Great Frost Kindom! The land of the Frost Dragons! You will bow down to us or suffer our wrath!" A Frost Dragon flew from the sky and landed right in front of Akira, staring him down.

Akira avoided the provocation and simply said "Shalltear, I leave it to you, do not kill everyone, leave some alive."

"Huh? Did this guy go insane from fear?" the Frost Dragon said snobbishly. He was completely unaware of his impending doom.

Shalltear immediately threw a light spear to pin through the dragon's heart, and the dragon fell to the ground, dying from the lack of blood flow.

The conquering of the Quagoa was similar, and the Quagoa all cowered from the new contenders that were at the top of the food chain.

Akira thought that it would be an easy mission, however, he did not expect what was coming next.
