Because the World Tournament was such a hyped event, the devs encouraged the players to view it themselves by blocking all streaming while the Tournament was going on, only allowing recordings for later uploading. Akira, who was curious, decided to spectate, he bought a seat and decided to go inside. Just like in the original Overlord, Touch Me won and was awarded the World Champion class.
Exiting the Arena, Akira's screen suddenly blared red and a system warning followed: Warning! You have broken the rule of the [Progenitor] class, and will be punished for it. Your class will be changed to [Scion] and all racial and job classes will be changed accordingly. "WHAT?! That applied to my racial class? NOOO!" Akira screamed, he was angry with the developers for not clarifying the rules of his [Progenitor] class. As he scanned his class, he was confused. Why is the [Scion] class so much more powerful than his [Progenitor] class if it was a punishment? Suddenly, he realized, as his karma was maxed, his power would effectively be cut in half, making him equivalent to a level 75, but since that was too harsh, the devs made the [Scion] equal to level 200. Usually, karma would be locked once you reached either 500 or -500, but since Akira could easily hack his karma, it was a buff rather than a debuff. Akira also managed to earn a title: Lucifer, The Fallen Necrophim.
Some minutes later, after Akira calmed down, he had received a message. It was from Touch Me: Hey Imago-san, do you want to join my guild, Ainz Ooal Gown? We have 41 members, and we would like to thank you for not joining the World Tournament, otherwise I wouldn't be able to win. (A/N I forgot to include this, but Akira's IGN is Imago). Akira typed back: Of course!. This has been what Akira has been waiting for, and he can't wait to finally meet all the guild members.
Do yall want a timeskip to the transfer to the new world? Or would you rather have worldbuilding?
