The Floor Guardian (1/3)

A still picture... that was the world that could best be used to describe the sight within the throne room. Kneeling before the throne was a group of 7. They all came in all shapes and sizes with only one elderly butler who led the rest of the maids. 2 were lolis, while the others looked like teens or fully developed women.

Next to the throne was a woman who on her left and right temples were two thick horns protruding crookedly, and on her waist were a pair of black angel wings. There was one thing they all had in common... they all had their own unique godly level charm.

But on that throne sat something that could only be called... Death. If any weak soul dared to look at this being, they would instantly die. If they could resist this effect, they would find themselves growing weaker over time as they die. For what sat on this throne was the embodiment of Death, the endpoint to all things, be they living or nonliving.

Down to the very air around him, it has died, leaving behind a deadly poisonous void that surrounded this god of death. 

This bringer of Death, this Monarch Of Death, This Overlord Of Death, this undead skeleton sat there, unmoving. Everything was still, it would have looked like a picture if not for the tiny dark red glow radiating from inside the bringer of Death's empty eye sockets, and the floating golden staff.

It was unclear how long this still image lasted until the Bringer Of Death's body twitched. It was a small twitch, but that seemed to be the signal everyone needed to come to life.

"..." I blinked. Wait, I couldn't blink; I had no eyelids. I looked around for some time in confusion before I remembered my meeting with God. I smirked, although my fleshless face couldn't show it.

"Is everything alright my lord?" the beautiful woman kneeling next to my throne asked, this was Albedo, the overseer of the Floor Guardian and also the NPC with the best defensive stats, Her defensive capability was equal to mine.

I was about to answer Albedo, but I paused in confusion... I knew I should be in the Overlord verse, I know I watched this anime, and It was ranked amongst my favorite anime out there... but why couldn't I remember the detail of the plot?

I could remember, that the anime followed the MC, Momonga, who found his game turning into reality, I could remember key events of the anime, but nothing that led up to those events. As I was shaking my head, realizing the same went for every anime I ever reached, every movie I ever watched, along with every show I watched... I remember the major events of all of them, just not the whole plot.

I remember Momonga would go on to move to conquer the world, but why? I remember Momonga took over a village... but why? I remember Momonga fought Shalltear... but why? I forgot all of the details of the anime... and this was a pain.

Was Momonga the strongest in the anime? I didn't know, so I had to play smart. I had to be on guard against the NPC, but the fact I made a wish to allow them to grow stronger and not change the NPC by much showed I had the information to trust them.

I'm guessing outside influence could have caused it, meaning something outside there was a huge danger to Nazarick... Why did Momonga go by Ainz Ooal Gown in the anime? Should I also change my name?

Okay, I still remember information on the guild, and Momonga was one of such people I knew pretty well. 

'Did he call himself Ainz Ooal Gown to spread the guild name? That would explain why he would conquer the world, wanting to spread the name of Ainz Ooal Gown to find out if his friends came to this world...

'Okay, I will play smart... what is smart? Whatever, I made those wishes to have fun... and so I shall have fun.' I thought while looking towards Albedo who had a worried look thanks to how long I had gone quiet.

"We have been transported to a new world. Have every floor guardian do a quick scan of their floors, and have all of Nararick be on high alert. After, summon all of the floor guardians to the throne... no to the 6th floor, the Amphitheatre." I said lightly, I wanted to go to the Amphitheatre so I could get the hang of using magic, 

"Understood," Albedo said with a serious nod of her head.

"Sebas, along with the Battle Maids, go outside Nazarick and do a quick scan of our surroundings. Avoid going too far from Nazarick, and avoid being seen." I said to which Sebas nodded seriously, and I watched as all of them left to carry out my wishes.

I on the other hand looked at the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown, The guild weapon of Ainz Ooal Gown, created with the full might of Nazarick... and also thanks to my actions, this was an equal to world items... no not equal, but better... far stronger.

I took the staff, wanting to see just how overpowered the staff could be. I smirked at the thought of one of this staff's abilities while I teleported away, appearing in the Amphitheatre, which was located on the 6th floor.

This floor is about 200 meters in height. Created by Blue Planet, a fake sun, as well as a fake sky, exists on the ceiling, reproducing the day and night cycle that changes according to the time of day... but that was in the anime, the size of Nazarick had increased by 2.5 times. Meaning this floor was 500 meters tall.

This floor boasts the widest area in Nazarick. It is 10 square kilometers wide, and the center has a large lake. Most of the area is not a forest, but a jungle, and plains only take up a twentieth of the area.

For the artificial sky on the 6th Floor, Blue Planet included celestial bodies and phenomena such as the moon, constellations like Leo, Hercules, Hydra, Cancer, Draco, Orion, Sagittarius, Scorpio, the Milky Way, the Pleiades star cluster, and a meteor shower.

I stepped into the Colosseum, impressed by the beauty of the place. In the Colosseum known as the Amphitheater, the intruders would be the stars of the show. The ones who will be watching their battles from the VIP box consist of Golems and members of Ainz Ooal Gown. The main event, of course, would be a brutal melee... sadly, no one ever reached this far.

I looked around the place, its size was the same as in the anime. The Colosseum was oval, 180 meters on its long axis and 150 meters on its short axis. It was 40 meters tall and modeled after the arenas of the Roman Empire. 

"... this is pretty cool," I said standing in the center of the Colosseum, enjoying the sight before me, but I turned my attention to the living thing I sensed. I had this unique sense that allowed me to sense all that existed, it was a type of 6th sense. All that existed was sensed by me, from the air to the sand, and the list went on.

Everything had a unique sense, the more 'data' the thing in target had, the more it sounded out to my senses. The thing that stood out the most was two beings, without looking at them, I could tell that they were equipped with 22 world items,

I didn't get the chance to fully understand this 6th sense with Albedo and the others thanks to the fact I realized something was off with my memory, but now I could look into this matter.

'I could tell their age as well and when their lifespan would run dry... oh, I could even see how they could die. This should be thanks to the Almighty,' I thought frowning feeling my emotions which went chaotic seeing how the two dark elves twins could die... I didn't know why, but I was angry seeing how my people could die. I quickly realized this had to be Momonga... and his love towards his guild was great, so great that it affected me, causing me to grow enraged.

I turned towards the twins, causing them to freeze as I held my palm out towards them, the air around me dying, the ground below began to die, the light died... everything died... for I was bringing forth death.
