Chapter 26.

•Overhaul's POV•

"Do you realise what you have done is wrong? Do you understand why you're in here, Chisaki Kai? If you do, let me know, because we may be able to do something about it."

That damned psychiatrist. Thinking he knows best. Yeah, as if I regret what I've done, if I do, why would I have done any of it? I would've known I get guilty, and would have stopped. But no, I definitely do not feel remorseful for what I have done and committed. If anything, those who are pathetic enough to get in my way deserve to suffer.

I heard footsteps advance towards my cell, and laid back on the concrete bed, or at least that's what it felt like.

"Chisaki Kai, you have a visitor. We are to come inside and make sure you are restrained before we let them in." The guards spoke through the small window in the door.

"I see." Well, who on earth could be visiting me? Wait- no. Please not Y/N. She will just keep trying to give me hope, and it just doesn't work like that. "Who is it?"

"It is a... Miss Suzuki." He said rather slowly, while opening the door and entering. "Please remain still, I would hate to have to electrocute you."

I did remain still for the time being, but who is this Suzuki woman? Some doctor or other? I cannot deal with anymore of them at this point.

Once the guard was done, he walked out and placed a foldable chair in the room, before going back out again.    Y/N entered. Of course, she used a different name to enter by. He closed the door behind her.

"What do you want, Miss Suzuki?" I said with a cruel smile. It was one of the few times I'd had my mask off, for too long. This place was bound to be crawling with bacteria. That made me shudder subtly.

"Well, Mr Chisaki, I wanted to ask you how you have been treated in here." She said it louder than necessary, as if to distract the guard outside from the real meaning of her words.

"It could be worse, but I wouldn't say it's a 5-star hotel in here." I retorted, while she leaned over from the foldable chair and slid a letter next to my chained-up self. I glanced to it, and the top line said, 'This is all just a hoax'. I immediately looked back up at her with a raised brow, and she had a little, evil grin plastered on her face.

"And, how do you feel?" She really was asking most of the same questions that my usual psychiatrist would.

"Considering how many crimes I've committed, I'm lucky to be at such a... place with good condition." He said with a shrug, and she must've known I was going overboard just to make myself seem like such a good prisoner. Maybe my release will be sooner.

"Lastly, what would you plan to do if you got out?" She raised a brow, seeming genuinely interested by this question.

"Well, Miss Suzuki," I said while slightly leaning closer. "I would do charity work." A sarcastic smile spread across my features, and she looked slightly amused by my joke.

"That's all, then, Mr Chisaki. I shall be back again soon." She got up from her seat and folded the journals that she was writing in. The guard came in and began to undo my chains as soon as Y/N was out, along with taking the foldable chair out afterwards.

Was it so bad to wish that she wouldn't come back again? I'm just in such a state here, it's embarrassing.
