Chapter 2

I feel like I have changed places, as if sucked into another world. This world entirely looks like mine, but gives a different... vibe. The instant the hand grabbed me, I was back on the building's top. Maybe the time has turned back? Nobody knows for sure. But why me? Why something has to happen when something has to happen when I am jumping? I feel like I am going to break something like a fourth wall. Whatever, jumping once again should explain some more.

This time, too, something grabbed me.

But not like the ones before. These are human hands.

Why would someone do this?

We landed on the building, and he threw me on the ground.

It's Alcenz.

He stared down at me with anger.

"Live for me" he said.

Wait, he can talk?

"I'm sorry about that. But we need you on our voyage" said a familiar voice from behind.

"For what?" I asked back.

That blond hair, Kayla.

"That is... complicated. I'll explain once we are on board the ship"

I turned to look at Alcenz expecting an apology, but he's nowhere.

Slowly, a small ship rose from below the building, a schooner.

Wow, it looks beautiful.

"Hop on" Alcenz said, standing on the bowsprit on the schooner.

A plank fell out of nowhere, connecting to ship and the building.

Kayla started walking towards the ship and waved her hand to call me.

Slowly, I got up and started walking. I have a feeling that I won't return soon. And I want to say goodbye.

But there is no one I can say that to.

When I climbed the plank, I looked below. There isn't any engine or anything at the bottom. How is it floating?

It had three masts, with all sails unfurled.

The ship started shaking lightly and slowly took off. When we were about to hit the clouds, Kayla yelled.

"Hold on to something!"

Quickly, I grabbed onto the wooden railing. The ship touched the clouds and started passing through them. Suddenly, a large hole appeared above us and started sucking the clouds. Soon, it will suck the ship too.

I simply looked at Kayla. Strange yellow circles were around her hands and her eyes were closed. I clung tightly to the railing. When we got near the hole, a potent force lifted me. Both Alcenz and Kayla staying still, and miraculously not floating. The ship then got sucked in.

We passed through the hole.

The other side of the hole was the same. Except, with huge fluffy white clouds that hid what's beneath.

"Are you okay?" Kayla asked and walked towards me.

She was not wearing her school uniform, wait. So was I. When did change clothes?

"Do you like the clothes I picked for you?"

"How did you-"

"Just a little magic, heh"

A little magic? Do such things exist? What did I drag myself into? I looked at myself. I am wearing a red cotton T-shirt and blue three-fourth pants. Kayla wore a black jean, white and yellow striped undershirt with a brown parka coat. She also wore round glasses. Neat.

"Do they fit?" She asked.

"Perfectly"

I turned to look at what Alcenz was wearing. He wore a conical hat, a black cloak, black track pants and button-up shirt. He also had a sword in its scabbard hung on his hips. Weird taste. He is still standing on the bowsprit, facing forward.

"Where are we? And why are we here?" I asked Kayla.

"We are in a world called the Sea. And we are going to revive a certain somebody from the dead"
