One day after school had started, Meng Xiao received a call from Yang Shannan.
Yang Shannan starts first grade in September this year. He's not as free as he was in kindergarten, so he doesn't come to see her as often. Without Yang Shannan as an excuse, Yang Yi also doesn't show up in front of her often.
It was early in the morning, and it was really strange that Yang Shannan was calling her. Meng Xiao picked up the phone and answered, "Hello, Nannan."
On the phone, Yang Shannan was crying so hard that he could barely catch his breath: "Mom! Mom! They say I'm lying! Hurry up and tell them I'm not lying!"
"Nannan? What's wrong?" Meng Xiao asked.
"Wuuuuhh… you come, come quickly! I didn't lie, you wanted me, you didn't reject me! No!" The child was crying so hard that he could hardly catch his breath. Meng Xiao put down her paintbrush and went to Yang Shannan's school immediately.
She called Yang Yi on the way, but no one answered.
