Tony's dad

A week had passed since the ball Amanda was back on her feet and had heeled completely and no other rumors had been heard from the other maids, I had been spending a lot of time on Vampor with king Harold who loved talking about his wife I spent time with Vlad too which was better but I never told them that.

Currently I was sitting near the lake in the meadow I was sat on the grass with my legs up to my chest my arms resting in my knees and my chin resting on my arms I was watching the water flowing down the lake it was very relaxing suddenly I saw something on the water it was a woman she was wearing a purple knee length dress and was standing above the water I sat up straight I knew who this woman was, this woman was my mum, she smiled at me then turned around so that her back was to me she was looking at something across the lake I followed her vision and saw a little girl no older than ten playing, she wore a baby blue knee length princess dress with white tights and white sandals she had an Orange teddy bear I gasped that was my teddy bear this girl had black hair and brown eyes this girl was my mum she was running around playing she was playing with a man, king Richard? I scoffed yeah when hell freezes I saw the man's face as he turned around after counting ten

"Tony" I whispered, the little girl and Tony disappeared and the woman above the water turned to face me again she smiled a warm smile and nodded she blew me a kiss which I felt on my cheek it felt like a tingle I smiled back at her and touched my cheek she disappeared then I started to walk back home I didn't pay attention when the guards greeted me still thinking about what I had seen at the lake I didn't pay attention when maids and butlers greeted me on my way to the kitchen I didn't pay attention when the kitchen staff greeted me as I sat down at the dinning table in the kitchen no I didn't pay attention but then I heard his voice coming from upstairs I quickly stood up and the chair I was sitting on went crashing the kitchen staff jumped but I wasn't paying attention as I ran upstairs. Without knocking I entered the room I opened the door with such force that the door crashed into the wall and bounced I pushed it again and it stayed open Tony was looking at me with shock written on his face

"how old are you?" I asked in a menacing voice

"what?" was his clever answer

"how. Old. Are. You?" I asked again as I walked into the room lighting a fire ball on my way Tony visibly gulped looking down at my hand

"uh I'm uh uh uh I'm uh" he gulped again "twen twenty twenty-two"

"LIAR" I shouted throwing the fireball toward him but he dodged it damn

"wait Caitlin whats wrong I am twenty-one" he told me putting his hands up in defence I closed my eyes and tried to calm down I opened my eyes and saw Maya and Tony looking at me "now what happened?" he asked still holding his hands up in defence he spoke slowly I sat down on a chair which I hadn't noticed before, I rubbed my face with my hands as I thought of what to say

"I saw something at the meadow today" I started I put my hands in my lap as Tony nodded I sighed then explained everything including him playing with my mum by the time I finished Tony was sat on the bed staring at me like I had two heads

"wow" was all he said I nodded "it wasn't me" I could feel myself getting angry I stood up and so did he "just hear me out" he defended I nodded he took a breath "i was six when your mum left it could not have been me but my mum always says I look like my dad" he shrugged "maybe it was him" I sat down again trying to wrap my head round this I rubbed my face again I  remember Tony telling me his dad died a long time ago when he was eight he said he was six when she left that means ....

"did your dad know my mum?" I nearly whispered

"yes he was like a father to her seeing as though her own father never gave her the time of day" I nodded sitting back down

"now what who's gonna tell me about my mum?" i stated to myself

"well my mum knew her too maybe we could talk to her" i looked at him i stood up, got hold of his hands

"lets go lets go" i squealed Maya came up to us and held Tony's hand too and together we blinked. we came to stand in a room with magnolia coloured walls there was a big bay window facing us i turned on the right of the window there was a fireplace with a white mantle piece above that was what looked like a family portrait there was a man standing behind a chair the man looked exactly like Tony, on the chair sat a woman with dark brown hair she was holding a boy who looked to be around five i guessed that was Tony  

"MUM ARE YOU HERE" Tony shouted behind me 

"KITCHEN" came a reply from somewhere in the house there was clattering then footsteps whilst we just stood there a women came into view i recognised her from the picture above the fireplace "oh to what do i owe the pleasure"

"hey mum" Tony smiled the lady smiled then hugged him i smiled missing my mum my smile was wiped off when Tony's mum hit him on the back of his head he let her go 

"OW WHAT WAS THAT FOR" he shouted rubbing his head his mum had her hands on her hips 

"you deserved it you never come to visit is that queen keeping you so busy you don't have time for your mother" before Tony could answer i stepped in

"forgive me ma'am that was my fault i was still learning the ropes of being queen your son was helping" the lady turned her glare towards me but her glare disappeared 

"forgive me your majesty..." i stopped her before she could carry on 

"its quite alright ma'am"

"please call me Heather" i nodded "so are you guys hungry?" she asked looking at all of us then walking to Maya giving her a side hug and a kiss on her temple 

"famished"

"yeah"

"for your cooking of course"  the last statement came from Maya we laughed lightly whilst Tony led the way to the kitchen it smelt divine in there 

"i hope you like lasagna" a chorus of yeses were heard and we started to eat talking lightly i don't know why but it felt like home here, a lump formed in my throat as i tried to blink away tears that threatened to fall thank god no-one noticed.

After we ate we sat in the living room and Tony started the conversation about his dad and my mum he told his mum how i had the vision of them playing in the meadow

"yes Heath was rather fond of playing with Nadine, I was jealous too" she shook her head "Heath only loved her as a daughter he called her the daughter he never had" she chuckled wiping a tear "your mum spent a lot of time playing with Heath when she was young when she became older she spent time here when she left Heath and i were very upset he was upset because he was loosing his daughter i was upset because Heath was upset she assured us she would come visit and write and true to her word she did, she came with her husband to meet Heath, Heath was pleased that she found a man to love her, though after a while she stopped coming Heath went looking for her on earth and found that the king was looking for her too he dodged them best he could but he never got the chance to see her, a week later the king was back with her body" i let out a sob she looked up at me apologetically i smiled she carried on "we didn't know she had a daughter but two weeks after she died Heath died" we were all crying by the time Heather finished "wait i have something for you" she said although we didnt know who she spoke to she got up and ran upstaires we exchanged glances between us Tony and Maya shrugged at the same time, two minuites later Heather came back she was holding a rectangular blue box and she handed it to me "we got Maria this as a wedding presant but like i said she never came back i'm sure Heath would want you to have it" i took the box and thanked her i opened it and gasped it was a necklace with a purple pendant the chain was gold there were small white diamonds surrounding the pendant "your mum loved purple" she stated "here let me help you" she took the necklace as i lifted my hair she put it on me and I loved it, it bought tears back to my eyes as i thought of my mum wearing this.

After sharing more stories for about an hour Tony announced we should head back we stood, said our goodbyes and thankyous before promising we would be back then we blinked back to the castle.
