---The Turning

Nala POV

I woke up with a mother's headache. What happened. Then it all came crashing back the guys in the dinner, Kane dragging me out, them changing and attacking KANE!

I screamed /"Kaaaaneeee Kaaannneeee/".

I heard footsteps running toward me before my door was opened with full force and Kane came in, I jumped into his arm hugging him, I needed to make sure he's okay he's not dead. The others didn’t hurt him, did they? I kept trying to check him for any hidden injury.

/"I'm an okay baby girl just take it easy,/" Kane says calmly trying to calm me too.

I whimper and stay within his arms still not believing that he’s okay. The rest of the guys come into the room next, all of them except Christian which is weird.

/"Where's daddy Christian?/" I ask loudly wondering where he is.

/"Baby how about you rest now and we'll talk later/" Ryland tries reasoning with me
