"Master! Master! Master! Come quickly! Our Madame is in labour, she is going to give birth soon."said butler Ben

Duke Zavastor left his work and immediately went back home, on the way the sky looked dark and gloomy, the weather became bad, it began to heavily downpour, the roaring sounds of thunder was giving this sinister atmosphere, it felt like the reaper was going to come to collect the souls.

When he arrived, he heard cries of a newborn baby, but all his servants and the experienced birth delivery maid showed such a scared and sad expression on their faces.

He went inside the room and saw his wife's face being covered by a white silk handkerchief, he removed the handkerchief away from her face, that shimmering, shining silver hair of hers lacked luster, her body was strangely pale, he held her hands, it was cold, extremely cold, he couldn't feel her heart beat.

The thunder roared even louder than ever before, he was feeling devastated by seeing his wife in this condition, he lost his love of his life and the other half of his soul, all because of this child of his that he warned his wife to not give birth to, he would rather have his wife back in exchange for this child, but his wife still wanted to give birth to this child even if it cost her life, I am already satisfied with our son Liam, why did she had to make this sacrifice, I don't care about this child at all, why? Why didn't you listen to me?

The newborn baby was still crying loudly amid this weather, the baby was crying so badly, perhaps because the baby knew that it's mother had passed away or it was probably crying due to lack of care and love from her parents.

Duke Zavastor saw the newborn baby and wanted to kill it, but he couldn't, since he remembered how happy and excited his wife was when awaiting for this baby, he remembered a memory of hers deciding names for the child.

"Hey, Lian! If our child is a boy let's name him Lei, your Lian's L and my name Reina's ei. Hahahaha... doesn't this name sounds wonderful, and if it's a girl, her name will be Liliana, she will get her first part of her name from you and the last part from me. I must be such a genius in generating names, if we perhaps have another baby in future, what shall we name them? hm....."said Reina with an amusing and pondering expression on her face

The baby's cries bought him back to reality, he saw that the baby had inherited his wife's hair and eye colour, that silver hair and those golden eyes, he found out the baby was a girl, so he bestowed upon the name Liliana Zavastor to her, when he touched the baby, the baby stopped crying, and was looking at him with a smile on it's face. He began to warm up to this baby but then he saw the resemblance of his wife on this child and remembered that this baby was the reason why his wife's life was taken away. He retracted his hands and the baby began to cry loudly again.

The poor child had lost her mother and father's love because of this unfortunate circumstances, even though her father was still alive, he couldn't face her since she looks so much like her mom and also the cause of her death. The poor baby cried non-stop but no one came to her, the poor baby was left alone in this cold weather, without anyone's care.

It has been a week since Duchess Zavastor passed away, many nobles came to the Duke Zavastor's mansion to attend his wife funeral. Duke Zavastor was cold and unfeeling, he even forgot about Liam, he was depressed and trapped in his memories of his late wife that he neglected everything. His parents came to remind him that now he has many responsibilities as the Duke and also a father, so he should grow up and move on.

Inside the coffin lays a beautiful woman, her sliver hair was open, she looks like an angel that has descented from the sky, she looks so peaceful and happy in her sleep, she seems to be free of worries and troubles, people couldn't take their eyes away from her beauty. The Lilies and other flowers she was laying on was overshadowed by her beauty.

"Mom!!! Mom!!! Mom!!! Why are you still sleeping so deeply? Why? Why are you sleeping for so long? Please wake up mother!!! Please... Please!"screamed Liam who was crying

The nobles pitied the young three year old child who was crying and asking for his mother, but then they realised that Duchess's daughter is absent from the funeral, Duke Xalen came forward to ask whereabouts of the youngest daughter to the Ex Duke Zavastor.

That was when they remembered about the baby girl, the Ex Duchess Zavastor went to check in the baby's condition, she saw the poor baby was so skinny and malnourished, she saw the baby's living condition was dirty and it looked like no one came in to check the baby for many days, she saw what the baby had wore and knew then that after the child was born, no one came to serve or care for her, everyone neglected her, the bed and pillow of the baby was still somewhat wet, the baby was now breathing so softly that in the next minute, the baby might just die.

Although, she disliked her daughter in law of unknown origin, but she still loves her grandchildren, even though the baby resemble her mother a lot but she can also see traces of her son appearance in the child's face.

She immediately called in a doctor and began to punish all those servants in this household, she was outraged by seeing and examining the child's condition, she felt that the servants became lazy and not loyal, she found their behaviour absolutely intolerable, she had thought that the servants was taking care of the new born but it turns out that they were partying behind their backs.

Many servants were fired that day.

"It's a miracle that the child is still living, after being starved from the day she was born, please give her milk regularly and on time, don't ever neglect this poor baby's health or else next time she might not be as lucky as now."said the doctor

The Ex Duchess decided to give away one of her loyal and trustworthy maid Mary to take care of Liliana.
