Unconscious

It was around 2 o'clock in the afternoon when the front door of Ji Won's Condo unit opened from the outside. Since it is Monday, the housekeeper just came back from her weekends day off. She went straight to the kitchen carrying 2 big grocery eco bags. Without delaying, she starts to place the groceries inside the refrigerator.

She is totally focused on her chores and is still completely unaware of Ji Won's condition inside the master's bedroom.

The housekeeper is chopping ingredients for their afternoon snacks when she suddenly got the urge to look at the closed door of the master's bedroom. She then looked at the wallclock. '2:35pm'

"Hmm.. isn't it about this time that the miss usually comes home?" The housekeeper murmured with a worried look plastered on her face. Being with the young miss for almost a year now, Mrs. Shin knows how strict Ji Won is when it comes to her own schedule. It's unsettling that she's not yet home.

She then again looked at the closed door, her brows started to furrow. She placed the knife down on the kitchen counter and wiped her hands on the apron she's wearing as she hurriedly walks towards the master's bedroom.

*knock knock*

"Miss? Are you in there?" The housekeeper called for Ji Won as she tries to listen if there's any one inside the room. When she got no reply, she knocked again just in case. "Miss? I'm going in, alright?" She then carefully turned the knob and opened the door a little to take a peek inside.

Empty. Tilting her head, she decided to close the door and go back to cooking when a phone suddenly started to ring. Frowning, she opened the door wider and there she saw her employer sprawled on the floor just behind the door. As the room is brightly lit, she clearly saw how pale Ji Won's face is.

"Miss!!"

She rushed to Ji Won's side. Being a retired nurse, she's able to calmly assess the situation. She lightly taps Ji Won's cheeks to wake her up. "Miss!... Miss Ji Won!" She felt that Ji Won's cheeks are cold. "Oh no! She must have been like this for a long time now." Mrs. Shin murmured.

She then carefully held Ji Won's wrist trying to feel her pulse. 'The pulse is there, but weak. Very weak.' She thought as she picked up Ji Won's phone from the floor as it is still ringing.

She quickly answered the call when she saw the caller id. And at the same time taking out her own phone from her pocket to call an ambulance.

"Hello, Sir."

Ho Young frowned hearing the frantic voice of the housekeeper. He looked at his phone and saw that it was indeed Ji Won's name and number on the screen. "Mrs. Shin?"

The housekeeper did not respond to him. He then heard Mrs. Shin talking on the other line but it seems like she is not talking to him. The lines between his brows deepen. He knows Mrs. Shin very well as a very calm woman. And hearing her talk with a hint of restlessness on her voice made his heart beat fast. He's worried. "Mrs. Shin, is something wrong? What's going on? Where is Ji Won?"

He heard some rustling on the phone before he heard the housekeeper addressing him.

"Sir!... It's miss Ji Won. I just saw her unconscious inside her room. I already called an ambulance."
