'Huh..so this is a status? It doesn't look as complicated as I thought..could it just be a reflection of my actual abilities?'

Taking quick glances through the columns of information I stop at one of the first few sitting at the very top.

'Ah right, he was this..'

Lucifer, unlike the rest of his family except for his brother, wasn't born a pure blooded human, his father, was a prisoner of war after the defeat of the demon queen, ending up the last incubus to survive their slaughter.

Due to his race and exceptional good looks the Queen decided to take him as one of her consorts

albeit he was mostly treated as a mere commodity,of course not without precautions, making sure to engrave a seal upon his father, essentially making any form of resistance futile.

The concept itself behind his story is pretty simple. Derived from the biblical depictions of the fallen Angel Lucifer Morningstar, created to be a direct contrast to his brother, Michael Astéri.

The final confrontation of the game actually ending up with a Cut scene of them fighting to the death during the final arc, in the end because of the protagonists help he managed to land a fatal blow on his weak spot resulting in his death and the conclusion of the game.

'His story is..quite sad now that I remember it..'

Because of his heritage, hailing from not just a demon but an incubus at that, he was often scorned and ridiculed, his technical prince status didn't help at all at hiding away the disgusted gazes of the royal maids.

However, even with that stigma marking his shamed birth, as his age progressed from baby to toddler and finally young adult, the gazes that were once full of hatred slowly, but gradually shifted towards a more sinister emotion.

A feeling of immense taboo and lust.

'Jeez..no wonder he became a villain..even his own mother wanted to have her way with him..'

That's right, even the blood coursing through his veins signifying their maternal relation didn't serve to stop his mothers raging lust towards him. Though as the queen and an incredibly strong one at that, she held off from crossing any dangerous lines, however that didn't stop her gaze from scouring every inch of his body that only served to entice her at every turn.

'..let's just forget about that for now, what are these Absolute stat points? There wasn't any feature in the game like this, is this that persons "gift"?..'

The games mechanics consisted of two main features, the actual capturing of the targets by triggering events, and the combat in order to defeat relevant characters.

Since it was technically an Otome game rather than an MMORPG it's combat section was fairly overlooked, however it was divided into 2 sub divisions, the "stats" and the "stage".

The stats were treated eerily the same as the skill in game. Each stat has one main numeral, or the "level" and it's decimals, the "progress" most humans or NPCS had their stats average at around 0.50, with certain races having theirs reach 1.00 or even 1.50, around twice or even three times the average human.

'I guess I'm pretty lucky, at least my stats didn't drop below the 1.00 mark, I don't need to face "that" to get stronger..'

According to this body's memories whenever a humans stat reaches levels of 0.99, there will be some sort of natural chasm that they will need to cross, a small barrier or first step needed to take in order to surpass their limits.

Of course as a half incubus that didn't apply to me who already had their stats average at around a level higher, despite their regression.

Fiddling around with the screen I managed to gain some sort of understanding of it.

'Huh.. so it works like this, I can either use these stat points to increase any stat I want, or the level of a skill, however this is only a one time use so if I choose wrong I pretty much won't get any more chances at a free level up..'

It was very convenient but not exactly practical, considering I was only awarded with 8, even with most of my skills and stats being reduced. I can count out skills since their effect would be minimal without the stats necessary.

STR and DEX are fairly simple and easy to raise and would honestly be a waste in the earlier stages.

Though FORT is quite harder to raise than DEX and STR it's not exactly something I'll need in the short time.

Which leaves me with CHA and MIND, as an incubus these stats will be the foundation of most of my skills in the future, The MIND stat is significantly harder to raise than physical ones however it still "can" be raised, CHA however, is slightly special.

Since unlike the others it follows a strict scaling. Beings who have a CHA stat of 1-2 are considered average, from 3-5 they can be considered above average, 6-7 they are good looking, and finally 8-9 who are considered idols, even the main male lead the crown prince had the highest charm being 9, however Lucifer was just something else, having his reach a whopping 10.

However with his parents it's understandable, both being the queen of the human kingdom and the last incubus, they created quite a combination.

'So should i save my points or invest now to make my life easier…'

My finger hovered over the screen when I noticed something shocking.

'My CHA stat..can still be increased?'

Initially considering Lucifer had one of, if not, THE highest CHA in the entire game one would think that 10 would be the limit, but apparently according to the status screen it isn't, which begs the question.

'Should I add a point to my charm?'

Though it may sound foolish and downright idiotic for most, charm is a crucial stat for someone like me.

As most of the incubus abilities I've inherited work sorely on people who have a deep attraction to me, even with Lucifer's 10/10 charm he couldn't use it against everyone.

Such as the protagonist who during his secret route managed to use her "cheat" to control herself and not be lead around by him, eventually conquering him by befriending him without any "hidden" motives.

However..

'If I were to add one more..what would the affect be?'

In the end the curiosity overwhelmed my sense of wariness as I clicked the plus button, and in an instant I felt a sudden change happening.

'What the..my skin..my body..'

Though it was a simple 1 point difference, the change was nothing short of miraculous.

My previous silky ink black hair now seemed to have a trace of the eternal black void I once spent an unimaginable time in, my lashes grew darker and my skin now glowed a faint dim celestial light, my deep red eyes now gained a flaming glow that seemed to gaze into the far beyond.

'Holy..that's such a huge difference..'

'Well..I guess 11 is the limit, what else should I use these for-'

*knock* *knock*

"3rd prince, your highness wishes for your presence."

Before I could even choose a royal maid came knocking at my door, now that I think about it it should've been time for dinner.

"Yes, I'll be on my way."

"Understood."

As the palace maid left I stared at the door for a few seconds in contemplation.

'Did such a scene ever happen? Now that I think about it what year is it, this body is apparently 13 already so the games storyline should start in 5 years during the academy.'

That gives me 5 years to chart out my plan for the future.

'It should be enough time, let's just get this dinner over with so I can start training.'

I quickly and efficiently get up from my bed as I took out an outfit from the wardrobe on the far right of the beds frame, putting on a simple dress shirt with black pants and formal shoes, a simple outfit that highlights this body's aesthetics.

'I hope my new looks won't cause too much of a commotion..'

And with that thought I opened the door to my bedroom as I took my first step into this new world, exited yet cautious i march my way towards the dining hall, ready to face my first obstacle in the pursuit of my happiness.
