Author Notes - To clarify some things, he's the only transmigration in his world, no reincarnated person either, those who are in the hub are from a parallel world and they won't be able to meet unless in the hub.
P.s - I made another fanfic, it's kinda similar to NunuxD Game Maker. (To be honest the only difference is the world and plot, but the concept is remotely the same.)

Finding the herb was harder than I originally thought it would be, while the quest did give me a description about it and where to find it.
It didn't really give me the specific location except for what area I could find such herb.
Ūbel started looking for it too after giving her the herb's description, although it's a bit surprising that she didn't ask why am I looking for that herb or what am I using it for.
To which I'm really grateful for, this makes it easier for me, as I'm someone who really dislikes being in a complicated situation, the easier it is the better.
After another few minutes of looking for it, suddenly Ūbel said. "Hey, I think I found the herb that you're looking for."
Quickly I went to her location and looked in the direction where her finger pointed at it.
Like she claimed, she did find the herb.
"This is what I'm looking for, thank you." I wasn't an ungrateful person, so obviously I'm willing to thank the person who helped me.
Despite not really being part of my original plan, I was pretty happy for completing my first quest in the community.
I have a feeling that if Ūbel haven't followed me sneaking into the forest I reckon that it would have taken me a lot longer to find the herb.
As I completed the quest, it only gave me a measly 1 KP.
It made me think how valuable a single KP is in general.
"Well that's great, it was a pretty enjoyable adventure." Ūbel spoke with her creepy smile.
Damn, I really still can't get over her creepy expression despite living with her for a few days.
But slowly I'm getting used to it, because despite its creepiness there's some sort of unique charm to it.
"Hey, aren't you curious why I'm looking for such a thing?" I asked her, I know that this isn't really the best idea but I can't help but ask her this.
"Hmm? I don't particularly care about it, to be honest I just wanted to spend time with you, because I wanted to know how it's like to play with a friend close to my age." Ūbel answered.
Oh…now that she mentioned it, despite her temperament and creepy appearance, it didn't change the fact that she's a child.
She did say before that most kids are afraid of her, making her unable to have friends and now that she found someone who is in a similar age and wasn't afraid of her, she took it as a chance to experience friendship that she never had before.
Realizing that made me feel ashamed and guilty, I was biased with my views of her because of what I've watched.
She's different, as this was before she shaped into that psychopath that she will become, which means she could still be influenced.
And this very moment I decided to befriend, not because it's a necessity but because I wanted to.
I'd like to see if I could influence her to become more decent than what I knew her as in the anime.
If not, well at least I tried and her personality is a pre-destined thing rather than the way she lived.
"A friend, huh….well if that's the case. Do you want to play?" I smiled at her.
Ūbel looked surprised by my invitation, but it didn't take long for her to recover and accepted it. "I'd love to!"
Looking at her smiling face, I couldn't help but thought. 'With her smiling like that, she definitely looks like a normal kid at her age.'
"Let's play tag and I'm going to be IT."
Ūbel tilted her head at the side and replied. "What's that?"
Hearing that I couldn't help but facepalm and thought. 'Oh right, it's another world.'
It might be called different here, but either way I'm going to explain the concept of tag to her.

(Time-skip)
3 years have gone by, a lot of things happened within that span of time, but that can wait for a bit because right now a massive boar that is the size of an elephant was charging in front of me.
Its face was filled with rage as it dashed in my direction, normally it would be dangerous for a normal person to handle such a beast.
But I'm hardly normal, I raised a single arm and casted a defense spell.
BANG! WHOOSH!
The demon beast completely stopped its movement as it couldn't move or damage my defense.
And as you can guess, I've learned magic. It's a fairly basic one but regardless it was enough.
I took out a sword from my inventory, yes funny thing the community did have an inventory although it's limited in space but you could expand it with KP.
The sword isn't anything special, as it's just the kind of sword that you could buy for a few silver coins at most from the town blacksmith, however the movement that I'm about to do is special.
I took a deep breath, put on a stance, gripped the short sword in my hand tightly and thrust it directly into the boar's forehead and it went in without the slightest resistance hitting the beast brain and immediately killing in a single attack.
"Hooh.." I let out a breath after that attack, and took the sword out of the beast head and swiped it into the ground so that most of the blood on the sword would be gone.
Then after successful killing the beast a notification of completion appeared.
[ Quest - Killing a demonic boar ] ( Complete )
[ Difficulty - E ]
[ Reward - 50 KP ]
For the last 3 years I've been doing the F to E rank quest, you might think that if I did that for the last few years I would have accumulated thousands of points right now.
But you're mistaken, the amount I've accumulated barely counts a thousand, F to E difficulty doesn't give much, not to mention most of those quests take hours to complete, some days. Not to mention I do have life besides doing missions.
My life doesn't completely revolve around the community, half of the time I've spent it with my friend, no she's my best friend at this point Ūbel and her older sister Ūriel.
Although I do interact with other people in the town, I wasn't as close to them as the sisters.
"Not bad, you've killed a demonic beast that size."
I didn't even need to know who said that, I shifted my gaze toward that person and saw that it was a familiar greenette.
Ūbel.
"Only 'not bad'? Give some credits here, it's definitely a big deal for me to achieve this kind of thing especially at my age." I shamelessly boasted, although what I mentioned was true, however I'm practically an adult mentally.
She got closer to my spot and I have gotten a closer look at her current appearance.
That little child from 3 years ago was no more, right now she's a full-fledged teenager, she had received a growth spurt a few months ago and is currently higher than me by a full head.
She's now closer to her canon-wise appearance, basically the same hairstyle but it was technically my fault as I'm the one who suggested such a hairstyle.
Although it would take years for her to fully mature into that, right now I'm being consulted by the fact that she hasn't started wearing those dominatrix-like outfits like her original.
"I suppose." The teenager did agree with me, then continued. "But sadly I can't say the same for your height."
And just like that the smile that was once in my face disappeared. "Really..? Those jokes about my height are getting repetitive you know?"
Ever since she outgrown me, she always took the chance to tease me about my height. While it's mostly harmless it's getting a bit annoying being reminded of my height.
Ūbel didn't stop smiling and said. "It's fun to me."
Ugh..
"You're only bigger than me because you're older, just wait till my growth spurt and at that time it wouldn't be you who would tease about height." I promised her.
"But that would take years, and right now I shall take the advantage over that fact." Ūbel said with amusement.
I decided it was a loss case, but despite that I'm actually quite happy because I've successfully influenced Ūbel, as I actually managed to reign much of her psychotic self.
She's more approachable these days, her body language was different and there's actually some kids in the town that wanted to befriend her.
To which I'm pretty happy about, however I'm a bit confused as to why she feels uncomfortable with it.
And even more so when I try to interfere.
"Think we should call the town for help with this…" I said as I looked at the dead boar the size of an elephant.
"Naturally, it's not like we can carry this massive thing physically, although we still have to pay for the labor."
"It doesn't matter, a small price for getting this thing out of here, it's better to be used rather than leaving it here to rot, I'm not wasting any food when I know that it could be used to feed other people." Ever since I could hunt wild animals I would occasionally give some food to those who needed it.
A small act of kindness won't hurt anyone, I'm not doing this for recognition rather because I can and also a favor to the town that helped me adapt to living in this world.
The town might look peaceful from the outside, however it also has its darkness. It might not be as noticeable as the cities but the town also has some sort of slum, but definitely isn't as disgusting as the cities I've visited once or twice.
For a world that was shown to be peaceful, there's a hidden darkness within it, while it does get occasionally shown through the show, seeing it first hand is a different experience.
Looking back at the first day I've arrived in this world I couldn't help but think how lucky I've been to be found by Ūriel.
If it wasn't for her then…I wonder what kind of life I would have lived..
Anyway, there's no use thinking about the 'what-if' scenario as it won't change a thing.
Either way, it's been 3 years since I've stayed in this town, my life was relatively peaceful however…
I wasn't planning on staying here forever as I plan to have a journey around this world. But this place is definitely my home and I consider it as such.
But if I stay here I won't be able to complete quests that are above E difficulty as anything above was either fighting a demon or something equally difficult.
"I think I'm leaving this town." I blurted my thoughts without meaning to, and definitely was heard by Ūbel who froze on the very spot she's standing.
I looked at her eyes widened to the point I was surprised to think that she's capable of making such an expression.
"What did you say?"
I could see the rising tension of her body as I blurted that I was going to leave this place. Well I suppose they would eventually know of my plan of living in this town.
I looked straight back into her eyes and answered. "I plan to leave the town soon."
After I confirmed that I was indeed leaving the town. Ūbel expression crumbled and now looked distressed.
"No."
"No..?" I said I was confused.
"..ont…eave.."
Her voice was so low that I couldn't hear it clearly.
"Huh? I can't hear you, please speak louder."
"DON'T LEAVE ME HERE!" Her voice was so loud that it gathered the attention of the people near us.
Before I could say anything I saw Ūbel expression, she was most definitely crying.
I was speechless and thought. 'She's crying..?'

Author Notes: Remember Ūbel is barely a teen and just got out of her childhood phase, and now that her only close friend plans to leave how do you think she'll react?
