Escape the chase

Alice sneezed while wiping the front mirror.

"I don't know why but I don't have good feeling about this"

"Hmm. Maybe just my image." she gave up and continued what she was doing.

Suddenly, a car window was crashed by a person.

"Alice. Drive the car quick." I urged.

"Brother. Why blood is covering all your body."

Yeah, like Alice said. I was bleeding from head to foot. I was bathed in my own blood. My trip on helicopter didn't end well but at least I still kept my life.

"I barely escaped from unfortunate event and they are coming here. Quick."

Alice still don't understand what is going on but still accomplished my order.

She turned the key and the car ran like a wild boar.

Immediately, a sound of hundred car chasing rang out from behind.

"What is behind us?"

"Nothing. Just focus on what I taught you while I will be watching our back"

"Okay"

"Remember where to go."

"Yes"

"Good." I took out the gun and fired.

There are many military cars were chasing behind. I think I mess fucking thing up. I won't commit the same mistake again in future.

*Bang bang*

"Damn. Why they hate me so much. To the degree that they will depart whole army to chase me."

I tried my best to aim the tire. Now I know the feeling Mad max and I don't like this. I thought Mad max chase contained a lot of fun. It's fun in TV but in real life, it's a heart breaking moment.

I succeeded at firing tire. It lost control and slammed into the trash bin. Only one car was affected by this. The other still continued a chase.

"Man. I hope they will stop to assist. "

I continued creating more obstacles for them. They ran over all it despite the damage.

"Luckily, I destroyed all helicopters or else it will be my end."

My modified car was suffered many damage from them.

"I anticipated this may happen." I sighed heavily.

In the past, I planned meticulous plan if I was failed. This car was added many steel plate to protect engine and axis. The only problem is tire.

"I don't know whether they are stupid or too angry that they don't aim the tire. At least, I can live in their mercy for now."

I opened the tool box and scattered nail on the road but it was useless. Because it was the military vehicle.

"F*ck." I said in bitter.

Immediately, a bullet penetrated the back window crashing a front-mirror.

"Brother, I can't see anything"

"Let me drive this." I changed to driver seat.

"Alice. Just hiding under. Don't do anything. Okay."

"okay"

I used my leg trying to kick the cracking mirror off.

After my third try, the window flew along the wind.

"That is better."

I watched the rear-mirror and realized that if I keep going at this rate, I will be caught sooner and later and I don't like a prison of military.

It will be horrible.

"I need a breakthrough."

Observing the around, I found that I can use a bridge to cut a chase. Before that, I must escape this surrounded. Looking left and right, both was blocked. A person at my left drew a gun and started shooting at me.

Of course, I won't let him fire for ever. I fired back at him.

Both side was firing ferociously. No one let the other side take advantage.

A car at my right started to bump me. It looked like they want me lose control of the car but in your dream. The car at my left started to do same thing. They bumped my car repeatedly.

Not yet. I waited a perfect moment to turn table. I have secret modified part to help me this time.

And the moment is here. Right at before they started to bump again, I stomped at the brake. Leaving behind, they bumped each other. Seeing this, I pressed a button. Immediately, my car was speeding up. I added nitro boot behind the car and that is my ticket to cut the chase.

I repelled that 2 cars to the side and dashing forwards. Leaving them behind, I arrived the bridge where I will make an escape.

Looking the rear-mirror, I saw them left behind far enough. I pulled the fuse and threw smoke grenade. Smoke scene appeared before them. After the smoke was relieved, I threw flash grenade to blink those who escape the smoke scene. They immediately blinked for few second.

"Alice, endure a pain little bit" I grabbed Alice and jumped out of car while the car still running.

I landed the ground with shoulder and rolled to broken car parking aside.

I quickly crawled under the car to hide. After doing that, all military vehicles were chasing the car which is now a decoy.

3 minutes passed and the no longer chaser was behind me.

"Phew, that was so close. I nearly escape with my life."

*Roar roar*

I saw a feet placing before me. If it was a normal feet then it's okay but this is rotten feet. I blocked Alice's mouth so that she can't say any word.

One … two … three. Countless feet were appeared. A army of zombie was chasing behind. I was facing dilemma. If I remain under the car too long, there may be a chance that I will be attacked by zombie.

I crawled out of the underneath car with Alice. Suddenly, I was held behind. A zombie was grabbing me.

Without thinking, I kicked it but it didn't work. I drew the gun and shot at its brain. Its head was exploded. Its hold was so strong that I had to use gun. The aftermath is I drew the attention on me.

"Crap. I think I will jump."

I picked Alice back and jumped over bridge fence.

"Hoho. It's so high. It will be hurt." I had no choice. They forced me to do this.

"But this is even better than biting to death by zombies."

Those zombie were so close to me now.

"Alice. Inhale a deep breath."

"Okay"

I mustered all my courage.

*Roar*

Taking zombie's roar as sign, I jumped off the bridge. While I was falling at this height, I made a spear shape to reduce impact.

'If I'm lucky, only one arm broke.' I thought.

*Splash*

A huge sound of water reverberated through the air.
