Long Live the King

They moved slowly through the forest. As they were moving, they saw a group of tellu beouf. The herd was moving towards a lake. The group contained about 20 of them. Ben and friends waited. The herd reached the lake and began to drink water. Leo was an animal that lived in group called pride. But its animus version was a solitary animal. It was also an animal which does not attack or kill unnecessarily. If it is resting one can go near it, it will not attack and won't even look at the person. Such was its nature. But once it comes out for hunting, no one was safe. This was its nature. Ben's group moved closer to the heard. Rais found a plant called venenum flor. This was a plant which could cause lose of consciousness and weakness. Tellu beoufs soon completed drinking water. Then they began to rest for a while. No other animals were there. Ben and Saarsh observed them. Rais, Roshin and Jim were preparing a way to use the plant. Jim suddenly remembered something. He said in a hushed tone "Guys I know something. Venenum flor has a peculiar smell, which attracts herbivores. That thing is avoided by the more experienced members of the group. That is how the herbivores survive. I think we can just throw it in their direction and when they see it, they will eat it. They will fall unconscious and we can kill them." The others looked at each other. Roshin said looking at Ben "Is it contagious? He is talking about nerdy stuff." They did not have much time. So, the group suppressed their laughter and covered their noses and plucked the plant. They had to throw it from a considerable distance so that the animals won't notice. They threw quite a number of plants at them and suddenly hid. The creatures noticed the plants and smelled it. Soon they began to eat it. It was the younger creatures that ate it first. The more experienced beoufs did not touch it. But to their luck this pack contained very less older beoufs: just 4. These 4 beoufs were looking confused. In the next moment the Ben and his group jumped out of their cover and shot at the remaining 4 cows and killed them. They soon tied up the remaining unconscious beoufs using plant ropes which they sourced from the forest. Then they took out a square box. It was called an animaux crumin or a beast bag. It was a storage device used to transport beasts alive and was often used by beast masters. The team had sourced this from Hughell Corporation for 2 days. They had combined their savings to get this. As soon as they did this, a notification came in their devices. It showed that they secured 200 points for the 20 Tellu Beoufs they captured. They cursed this thing. This was because now all the other teams knew that they had captured or killed the creatures and they might come after them. So, they rushed to enact their plans.

Soon the group travelled to the adobe of Leo Animus . It had stopped releasing the pressure. So, they could go near its den. Leo was a creature which did not eat dead animals. Even if it was going to die of hunger it would not eat a dead animal. The group had rented the animaux crumin for the purpose of catching certain animals alive and using those to bait big predators. But with the addition of leo animus they changed their plans a bit. The group came close to the den of the animus as much as possible. Then they took out 3 tellu beoufs out and put it there. They moved out of there as fast as possible. In a short while the leo came out and looked at the four unconscious beoufs. It smelled it and looked around. It smelled it again. Then it took the creatures inside. Soon chomping and cracking sounds were heard along with the cries of the creatures. After a while it ended. The team repeated their actions again. This time they put 4 beoufs at once. The leo came out again. This time it looked in the direction of the group. They were hiding behind a group of bushes and rocks. Then it took the creatures inside and ate them. The team waited for some time. Soon they heard a snoring sound from the cave of the leo. They heaved a sigh of relief. They found a place to stay . Soon they began to cook the dead beoufs which they had killed using the energy guns. Its aroma spread. They were at some distance from the cave of the leo. Still, it went till there. Jim was a good chef. The others in the team were licking their lips. When Saarsh was looking around they saw the leo coming out of the cave. It looked in their direction. It stood there looking intrigued. Roshin and Ben moved slowly. They took a large piece from the cooked meat and put it in a large leaf and walked to the direction of the leo slowly. They kept it at a distance form the leo and went back. It came and smelled it and then ate it. It seemed to look delighted. At this time a pack of flamma lupis came. It contained about 40 animals. They were standing on the other side of the stream on the banks of which the team had set up their camp. The pack was looking at the meat and its cooks. Suddenly the pack felt a pressure on them. It was like a mountain pressing on them. They subconsciously looked at its source. A majestic creature with pitch black mane with a height of 10 feet, and glistening eyes was looking at them. They tucked their tails and ran away. The leo went inside the cave. Ben looked at this satisfactorily and said, "Long live the king." Others smiled at him. Their plan worked.
