[Wake up Luo! We're here]

Luo woke up groggy, quite dizzy from the long trip that might've lasted a few years. After getting a hold of himself he surveyed his surroundings only to realize that he was inside some kind of hole underground with some violet light rays seeping through the cracks on the ceiling, the hole was quite small as he could barely stand up straight the road ahead was also rather tight, but it was enough for him to squeeze through, behind him the road was blocked so he could only walk ahead, but before he marched he decided to ask the ancient voice something.

"Where are we?"

After a couple seconds of silence, a hologram appeared in front of his retina. This was along with the voice saying [Welcome to the higher dimension, we are in [Sule] the land of rifts].

"The land of rifts? Does that mean we are no longer on Earth?"

[Yes, we are currently in another world in a dimension higher than the one where Earth is located]

Luo was processing the information as he stayed silent for a couple of seconds before asking again.

"And what are we here for? And why are we here specifically?"

[I used most of the energy I had left to free you from the clutches of the curse that was tweaking your fate. I actually just got here by coincidence as my remaining energy isn't enough to take us any farther]

"But how do you know this place's name if we arrived here randomly?"

[By accessing the sea of knowledge correspondent to this place]

"Sea of knowledge?"

[It is simply the place where all information flow and gather, each world and dimension have a correspondent sea of knowledge which hold all kind of information about that world]

Luo was amazed at this existence's powers as he questioned further

"But what are you exactly?"

[As I said before, I'm myself don't know, but one thing for sure I'm a part of you, if you die, I will vanish!]

"I got it, now tell me what the next step is"

[Currently you are considered a First Order being, while the world we are in has a restriction on all beings below the Second Order]

"First Order, can you elaborate more about it, and what is the Akashic records, I remember seeing it when I just broke through as some kind of hologram"

[It is your rank on the universal scale according to the Akashic records, simply saying your strength is categorized]

[The Akashic records is not simply a scale to measure a creature rank but also the system responsible for keeping the world from chaos and maintaining order by separating and restricting higher ordered beings from going to a lower ordered worlds and vice versa, currently you are a First Order being while [Sule] is a world where the lowest ordered being is a Second Order, I'm now hiding your existence from the Akashic records and nullifying the pressure of a higher world, but I'm using my energy to keep this up so I won't be able to keep it for long]

[Beings are separated into Orders, Half-Orders, First Orders, Second Orders, Third Orders, and Transcendent Orders. Currently you are Middle Phase First Order, and you are only eligible to enter a world ranked above or below you, apart from some special demensions]

"I got it so how long can you keep me here? And where should I proceed "

[I can hide your presence for six months at most, and you will have to reach a rift that is estimated to be one year away on foot. I will manifest a map for you so you can understand]

Luo saw a map featuring a distorted planet, lightning and space rifts surrounding it, it resembled a glitched image in a game, but the map soon started zooming on a red cursor placed on the right side of the planet. After zooming in enough a huge forest could be seen covering more than ¼ of the planet. It was a mixture of mountains and colorful trees some with lightning flowing through them while some had their trunks opens occasionally, forming a space crack. Looking at the scene Luo was mesmerized by the magical view, that he started getting a sublime feeling. He knew deep down the journey ahead wouldn't be easy, suddenly he asked,

"Hey, can you show me a photo of the earth one last time? It will be quick!"

[?,I got it, here it is]

The map changed into earth's image. Luo gazed at it reminiscing about all the hard times he went through there along with the sweet moments he had with his loved ones. However, everything ended with him having nothing but memories. He started feeling Hiraeth, but he steeled his heart as he said to himself.

"I might never go back there, it is quite the shame I didn't get the chance to at least build a coffin for them, but it's okay, you might no longer be part of this world but in my heart you guys shall live there till the day I draw my last breath, trust me my love for you is indelible, please watch over me as I will never forget you"

After staying silent for a couple minutes Luo opened his eyes with a new resolution.

[Ready?]

"Yeah"

"Hey, what should I call you?"

[Whatever you want, I no longer remember who I am not even my name]

"Eijaz"

[?]

"I will call you Eijaz, it means miracle in Arabic back on earth"

[It is not bad].

"Well, this aside, can you access that sea of knowledge one more time and give me more information about the creatures and ecological system of this forest?"

[It shouldn't be too difficult]

After a couple of seconds, a list full of images and information appeared in Luo's mind drowning him in information as it was being engraved in his memory.

"Wow, I want to praise you, but we are in quite a fu#ked situation"

It was quite the magical feeling having information engraved in your head. Normally that amount of information would've made a normal person's head explode. Luo is a higher being so his memory and brain capacity increased to match his standing. After going through the information Luo realized how arduous achieving their goal actually is.

"I didn't expect the difference between First and Second order to be this huge. Not only that the distance we need to travel is enormous, the rift is almost on the other side of the planet"

[According to the information I got the difference between orders is almost insurmountable. This is because the winning rate for early phase first order being against a SO* early phase is below 5%. For your information although each being's evolution is different, I estimated that the difference in strength between First and Second Order is more than a hundred times]

"You mentioned that you could hide my presence from the Akashic records. Can you do the same thing with these creatures here?"

Luo said as he circled with his finger a certain zone on the map

[First thing you need to know Luo I'm expanding our limited energy right now in a way to hide your order not your presence. While it will not be hard to do what you asked it will lead to an increase in the expenditure of energy shortening the time I can conceal you from the Akashic Records.

Luo paused to think about a solution for a couple of minutes as he stayed silent with his eyes closed.

"What is this type of energy you are using anyway? Is there any way we can obtain it?"

Luo asked while still keeping his eyes shut, with a hand on his chin supported from the elbow by the other

[What I'm using is [Soul Energy], it is one of the purest types of energies to exist and every living being has it in different amounts, the reserves of SE* I am using now are the ones I automatically absorbed from when you killed someone back on earth]

"So, you are saying we can replenish this energy as long as I can kill something?"

[Exactly, but unfortunately our current situation doesn't permit you to find prey that you can hunt for]

"You are right I can't just fight something hundred times stronger than me and expect to win, but"

"I think I can see our way out now."

[?]

"Here, this is where our chance is located."

Luo said as he pointed to a huge tree on the map.

Three days later inside the cave Luo was preparing himself to depart on his journey after sorting everything out and learning some techniques and new information.

"How convenient. As long as I use this energy, I won't need to eat nor drink."

[This is one of the most basic techniques that I found in the sea of knowledge. A considerable number of higher beings that belonged to the human race passed by this planet. Most of the techniques they used were recorded there.

One of the techniques that Luo learned is [Origin replenishment], after learning about the existence of [Origin Energy] he started researching ways to use it and with the help of Eijaz he made incredible progress.

"Then let's get going"

Luo said as he broke through the hole in the ceiling with ease landing in the middle of a bunch of huge violet trees with blue leaves and lightning flowing through each of them. He looked like an ant due to the size of these trees. Luo was quite taken aback by the magical scenery, but he knew that he had to be fast as time was not waiting for him.

He cautiously marched south as fast as he could in intervals where he lowered his speed so as not to be caught in a situation where he might run out of stamina.

'I should try to keep myself from exhaustion as much as possible. At least I can try to retaliate if something happens along the road.'

This is one of the measures Luo decided on when thinking of a plan.

"Eijaz are there any movements from nearby creatures?"

[No, currently we are outside their territories. Now we can only hope that no rift opens close to us]

"Yeah, even the weakest being from those can utterly crush me"

Luo continued his march without much disturbance or variable for a couple of days when he started feeling a bit exhausted. He decided to hide in a small, deserted cave he found just below a lightning tree, ensuring no one sure that no nobody was inside.

Inside the cave that barely fit three humans, Luo asked.

"Eijaz show me the map with our location marked"

SE*: Soul Energy

[The difference in strength between a First order and a Second order is estimated to be around a hundred times on average, including physical prowess and the purity of the energy used.]

[Soul Energy]: The purest type of energy, present in all living beings. It is shrouded in mystery and very hard to use, only a few beings could crudely use it. It has various names such as Life Force, or Life energy.

After a being dies the universe usually claims authority over his Soul Energy as it is part of the life cycle.

[Sule, a mysterious world which suffered from the first ever spatial storm, and special world which contains zones of varying dimensions]

[Akashic records]: the system responsible for keeping the world from chaos and maintaining order by separating and restricting higher ordered beings from going to a lower ordered worlds and vice versa while also providing a ranking for every being based on their soul strength (The soul is a representation of the bearer)
