At the Clinic

Louis got to the clinic a few minutes after he got off the call with the doctor. He was aware of the discussion he was about to have with him, and that brought back bitter-sweet memories of Olivia.

'So, I have lost my Olivia?' He muttered as he walked through the corridor leading to the doctor's office. Then the secretary greeted him at once, “Hello, Mr. Bailey. Good to see you.”

“Good to see you, too. How is work?”

“My work is fine.”

“Good. I wish to see the doctor.”

“You can see him. He had been waiting for you.”

“I see. Thank you," he appreciated it and moved on. The doctor maintained eye contact with him the moment he opened the door and offered him a seat, "Kindly, sit down.”

“Thank you, doctor.” Louis smiled dryly and sat on the visitor's seat. Then, he stated, “You sent for me, doctor.”

“Yes. How are you?”
