Prologue Part 2

Naruto looked at the bald headed man in curiousity.

Naruto:A hero...for fun? What do you mean?

Saitama:Exactly what it means, Naruto.

Naruto looked at him surprised.

Naruto:You... know my name?

Saitama:Yes. Along with a lot of other things. And especially with how those villages treat you.

Naruto looked down saddened by that.

Naruto:Why? Why do they hate me so much. I didn't do anything to them. I just want to live my life.

Saitama looked down at the boy sadly, knowing exactly what he was going through. Maybe not to the same extent as Naruto, but similar.

So he bent down and put a hand on the boy's shoulder getting him to look at the hero and Saitama said,

Saitama:Yeah kid. I know how you feel.

Naruto:You... do...?

Saitama:Yep. The pain, the anger, the sadness, the mistreatment from others, and the feeling of being rejected by others to belong in the world. I know how it all feels.

Naruto looked at him shocked then tears came out of his eyes and he nodded. Then Saitama wiped the boys tears and he said,

Saitama:Well, don't worry. No need to cry anymore. Because that will all change. And I here to ensure that.

Naruto perked up a little and stared at the man.

Naruto:R...Really? How?

Saitama:By giving up everything of me to you.

Naruto:What do you mean?

Saitama:It's a long explanation. And I'm no good with something like that. But I will say this. Once I do so, you will have power that you have never felt before. To fight back and protect yourself and others.

Naruto:But... Why me? Why not someone else? I'm... a nobody.

Saitama:No you aren't!

Naruto looked at him shocked.

Saitama:Those stupid villagers may call you that and a lot of other things, but you are NOT like that. You are not a nobody. And you are definitely NOT a monster. You are a good hearted, innocent boy who just wants to live a happy life. Who just wants to be accepted by others and do the right thing. And that is why I chose you to have my power. No one else but you.

Naruto looked at him shocked. He found him worthy? Him? No one else? He didn't know what to say. Tears came down his eyes and he wiped them.

Naruto:Th... That's the first time anyone beside Jii-chan said that to me.

The boy smiled.

Naruto:Thank you. Saitama-Nii.

Saitama smiled and patted the young Uzumaki's head.

Saitama:Not a problem kid. So... are you ready to accept my power?

Naruto looked at the man for a while before smiling with courage and said,

Naruto:Hai!

Saitama:Great.

Saitama raised his right balled up fist and Naruto did the same and they both did a fist bump.

A gold, blinding light shone between both of them. Then in engulfed everything.

As the seconds passed, the only thing that can be heard is Saitama saying.

Saitama:Goodbye Naruto. Good luck... and enjoy... your...life.

Now back in the real world, Naruto's closed eyes squinted before they opened up. He stood up and looked all over himself to see that his scars were healed and his clothes were back to normal.

Naruto:I'm...all okay. But how-Ah...!

He got a headache and now multiple memories were in his head.

The memories of Saitama.

The world filled with Heroes and Villains in the past, Saitama fighting and killing monsters with a single punch, beating up criminals also with a single, his blonde mechanical man who was his sidekick/best friend named Genos, The Hero Association, the Monster Association, everything.

Then after a few seconds, the memories stopped. And Naruto thought,

Naruto:Those memories were his. But... they felt like they were...mine.

Naruto:Then that means, I am... his reincarnation?...I guess.

He looked at the palms of his hands and balled closed then opened them again. Feeling the small surge of power in them. Then he threw a punch in the air.

WHOOOOSH!!

And the clouds in the night sky parted.

Naruto looked at the sky wide eyed and said,

Naruto:This... This power... is awesome.

He smiled a little but then it was replaced with a small frown.

Naruto:No. I can't get too excited about this. This power is great, but it is very dangerous if I can't control it.

He looked up to the sky. His eyes narrowed with resolve and he thought,

Naruto:So starting tomorrow, I will begin my training . So that I'll have control over this power of mine and at at the same time, become the strongest in the universe.

Then he smiled and said,

Naruto:And also surpass you. Saitama.

Then he looked ahead and jumped from tree to tree to get back home.

And while he did, he thought to himself,

Naruto:Watch out Konoha. Naruto Uzumaki, the NEW One Punch Man is gonna shake things up.
