Meeting Usopp

"I'm done...*ffffwwwwuuuhhh*... Now, I just have to meet up with others down stairs.... I think that they should have finished by now after plundering their treasures, was the easiest part left to do ."

Freed said as he finished tying the last remaining pirate of the Buggy Pirates with a rope.

' But still to think that I would completely recovered from my state of fatigue in only 30 minutes, this world is wonderful... Crossing over to the world of One Piece was the best thing that ever happened to me in that life after meeting my gang back on Earth....

After all I have been a die hard fan of Luffy and his crew ever since my friend introduced me to One Piece, on top of that Luffy was only two years older that me at that time which make me relate to him more....But currently we are the same age though due to me crossing over when I was sixteen and him being almost seventeen years old...Anyway, I still need to train even harder now as my mastery of the six techniques of rokushiki are still not at the level that I wish.

After all using only one of them is currently putting a huge strain on my body, and this limits the rokushiki's usage to 5 minutes every 30 minutes... If I go over 5 minutes or use more than one of the six techniques of rokushiki in 5 minutes, I fell in a state of extreme fatigue.... To recover from that state, I need to rest from two hours to half a day... But reaching my current level over one year is not too bad after sweating water and blood, while training for hours and resting only when my body can't keep up...

But I still need to get stronger, the trick that I used on Buggy will not work on other devil fruit users that easily anymore... Plus, my interference will definitely affect the orders of events or the timeline of the main plots of One Piece..... As It was me who defeated Buggy and his crew and I did it faster than in the manga.. It can be expected that his hate will be directed me, instead of Luffy, also Luffy did get the opportunity to befriend that dog and the mayor of this town like in the manga.

One thing that is sure though, It will make it harder for me to help them but it doesn't matter at all, I said that I will help them realise their dreams and I will do so... Now, I just have to keep on progressing and become one of the strongest members of the crew... As well as increase the fame of the Strawhat Pirates within East Blue before entering Grand Line... I wonder which epithet the Marines as a member of the Strawhat Pirates.'

"Why are you chuckling like that for no apparent reason, it gives me goosebumps, Freed."

"Oh! Nami, it's nothing don't pay to much attention to it, I was just thinking about something... More importantly guys, we need to get the heck out of this island... Don't forget that we are pirates and that the population of this island have suffered from the misdeeds of the Buggy Pirates... So, I think that to their eyes, we are no different from those guys and I believe that you have already looted all of Buggy's treasures...

Do you all agree with me."

Freed replied to Nami's comment as she walked towards him while being followed by Luffy and Zoro. Then, he rapidly change the subject of conversation as he saw their bags that were full with treasures.

"Yeah!!! Freed is right, let's go!!!"

Luffy said as he ran past Freed with a big smile followed by Zoro and Nami, while Freed sighed and then did the same. As Freed ran behind Nami only one thought was present in his mind.

'I should stop submerging myself to much in my thoughts as this might become dangerous... I did even notice Nami and others until they were only a few steps away. '

One weeks later

Two vessels were sailing alongside one another with ropes connecting them. One of the two vessels was a small ship with a black sail with the emblem of Buggy Pirates on it, while the other was a large boat which was smaller than the small ship. Nami was the only one on-board of the small ship while Freed, Luffy and Zoro was on-board of the boat.

Freed was training his body by moving his body up and down vertically above his right index finger. He was currently wearing only his black pant. Zoro was lying down while discussing with Nami and Luffy who was sitting at the front of the boat.

"We need to plan things more from now.."

Nami said as she stared at Luffy.

"Yeah!!! We need to get somw meat, even though we have a lot of fruits.."

"That's right Luffy... We should also find some alcoholic drinks."

Zoro added after hearing Luffy's comment.

"Are you two idiots!!!"

"Hahahahahahahaha.. Luffy... Zoro... Even though what you said, are important... That not what Nami is talking about at all... She's referring to the fact that we are travelling to Grand Line using the map that we robbed from Buggy... Also that in order to undertake such an arduous and dangerous journey, we need more comrades that we can count on... I'm I right, Nami?.."

Freed paused in his training without changing his posture and tell his thoughts on what Nami was trying to say.

"Yeah! That's partly it, Freed... It's that we need comrades but we also need a good ship to travel on the sea of Grand Line... After all we are bound to cross path with many pirates looking for the treasures on that sea."

"So, what do you proposed Nami."

Luffy said as he stared at Nami with a questioning gaze and Zoro also looked at her the same way.

" There's an island due North according to our map... I proposed that we head there and look for a good, well-equipped ship, first... That way, we will have more means to protect ourselves on the journey... Then, we will look for the some comrades and reinforced our ranks..."

"I agree with the train of thought of our navigator... How about you, guys!!"

Freed asked Luffy and Zoro while resuming his training.

" I also agree.."

"Okay, since everyone agree... I leave the destination to you, Nami!!"

Luffy said to Nami with a toothy smile.

Two hours later

"Finally I can stretch my legs... Nami, is there any town on this island?"

"Yes... There is one about ten minutes walk from here. "

Nami replied to Luffy's question after she opened the map to verify once more.

"My muscles were becoming sore after all these times on that boat.."

" It was because you spent most of your time sleeping, Zoro... Anyway, did you noticed those guys observing over there..."

"Yeah!!! I noticed them the moment, we docked here... How about you, Luffy?"

Zoro replied Freed's question before turning to face Luffy while pointing his left index finger at the four individuals observing them.

' Maybe that's Usopp and his three little friends that are playing to be pirates like in the manga?... Why are three of them running away? Have we done anything menacing lately?!... Slim tan-skinned teenager.... Medium-length black woolly hair.... Prominent lips.... Long nose.. So, it really was him, the member of the Strawhat Pirates that will be called a god in the future, Usopp... He's the same coward as I know, but still I commend him for not running away like the other three members of the so-called Usopp Pirates.'

Freed thought as he stared at the direction in which Zoro pointed his index finger the whole time.

"Halt everyone! I'm the Great Pirate Fleet Leader who's in charge of security on this island... I'm called Captain by my subordinates, Captain Usopp... So don't try anything stupid like attacking this island as my 80 millions subordinates will not forgive you..."

Usopp said to the four individuals in front of him after mustering all his strength.

"Stop lying that not true?"

" I've been caught!!! How did you know it was not true???"

" You just basically said it yourself. "

"Aaaarrrgghh!!! Did I just say that? What a bad planning?? Really bad planning!!"

"hahahahahahahaha... That's guy is funny."

Luffy couldn't stop himself from laughing at the comical exchanges that Usopp had with Nami.

15 minutes later in a tavern of the Syrup Village.

"What you are looking for comrades?!!"

"No need to be this loud, Usopp. Calm down.."

Freed said to Usopp who just shouted after hearing Nami's explanations.

"Aaahhhh!! Sorry for that... So you are looking for comrades and a big ship.... hmmmmm... there is a ship in this island, in fact, it is the only ship here... The ship is not too big but it's not that small either.."

"Where can we find that ship?"

Nami asked Usopp who was engrossed in his explanations while Luffy ate all the meat on the table and Zoro drunk all the alcoholic drinks. On the other hand, Freed was lost in his thoughts.

" It's at the mansion not too far away from the village, in fact it belongs to the Owner of the mansion... A girl that lost her parents last year due to an accident.... A pitiful girl that inherited all the wealth and servants of her family but with a weak health... She spend most of her time on her bed due to illness... Proof that you can have a lot of money but still be unhealthy."

[Bam]

Everyone turned to look at Nami who slammed her right palm on the table with a puzzled expression, except for Freed.

'So this reminds her about her current situation... hhhmmmm... Don't worry this will not last for long.'

Freed thought as he stared at Nami who quickly changed the subject of conversation.

" Let's forget it then... We can find another one next time."

"Yeah!! It's not like, we are in a hurry... So for now, we can buy some more meat for our journey. "

" Also some alcohols too."

Zoro added to the comments of Luffy as he and Luffy lifted their mug and plate respectively, signalling the owner that they need more alcohol and meat.

"But as for the companions' issue, it can be solved... I, Usopp, will join you if you make me the captain... Oi! Don't ignore me!."

Usopp's comments were completely casted as nonsense by the four companions and none of them found the need to reply to it.
