Chapter 54 Ready To Fight

Alice and Cross went around town and bought lots of clothes. Cross really wanted Alice to grow up happily. He regards Alice as his biological sister and will protect her.

Since it was already evening, he decided to return to the Gremory house. When he reached the gate he saw Law reading a newspaper. He approached Law and asked, "what are you reading?"

Law saw Cross holding Alice's hand and knew that the two of them had just returned from shopping.

" Straw Hats get his first bounty," Law answered.

"Heee that interesting," Cross answered nonchalantly.

"Are you not curious about the first bounty," Law asked a little seriously.

"Maybe about 30 million berries or 40 million berries. I'm more curious about how much my bounty hahaha," Cross said and walked in with Alice.

"Maybe more than 100 million," Law said.

Cross just shook his head at Law words. Cross then asked a maid to find out Misla and the others were.

"Where are Misla and the others?" Cross asked.

"Misla-sama is in her room," replied the maid.

"Can you take Alice to her room?" Cross asked and patted Alice's head.

"Yes, I'll take you there," said the maid, smiling at Alice.

"Alice, you follow this maid," Cross said and squatted so that he could be as tall as Alice.

"Yes, thank you, brother," said Alice and hugged Cross.

"Where is my room?" Cross asked.

"On the second floor, the room farthest from the stairs," said the maid.

Cross then gave the clothes Alice had bought and walked to his own room. Cross showered immediately after arriving in the room because he felt his body was already smelling of sweat. After taking a shower Cross slept because he was a bit tired. Cross slept for about 3 hours and suddenly woke up because someone was knocking on his door. Cross opened the door and saw a maid.

"Cross-sama dinner will be ready in 30 minutes," said the Maid politely.

"I'll get ready, thank you," Cross said.

"That is our job, then I will excuse myself," said the Maid, then looked down a little and left.

Cross then changed his clothes and walked out of the room. When he came out of the room he met Sairaorg who was walking with Rias.

"Yo," said Sairaorg.

"Yo, your mother was looking for you," Cross said.

"I've met her. Did you go with Alice?" Sairaorg asked.

"Yes, I invited her to see this city," Cross answered.

"You really treat her like a princess," Rias said.

"She is the little princess in my group and I want the best for her," Cross said with a smile. The three of them finally arrived at the dining room and immediately sit in an empty seat. Seeing Cross coming, Shuri immediately walked towards him.

"Thank you for saving my daughter," Shuri said.

"Don't worry about it, has the betrayer been arrested?" Cross asked, scratching his head

"Sirzechs-sama has captured him and is being interrogated," Shuri answered.

"Haha glad to hear that. We are here to eat so you don't need to keep thanking me," Cross said and tapped Shuri shoulder.

Feeling her shoulder tapped by Cross Shuri just smiled and returned to her seat. Sirzechs and Zeoticus are the last to arrive. When everyone was eating suddenly the door was opened by Liban. Liban and Bepo come in with 4 people.

"Oh? Finally, you arrived" Sairaorg said with a smile.

"You took too long to get here, "said Law.

"Bepo where did you meet them?" Cross asked.

"I met them at the city gate," Bepo said.

Sirzechs saw that 4 people who had just entered immediately remembered that there were several people who were separated from Cross while heading to the capital. Sirzechs looked at Cross and asked, "are they your friends?"

"Yes, they are my friends," Cross answered.

Sirzechs only nodded at Cross answer. But he was still a little confused about why their clothes were so dirty. He wanted to ask but Misla preceded him.

"What happened to you?" Misla asked.

"I want to eat first, after finish eating, I will answer all your questions Misla-san" Kohta answered with a little saliva in her mouth.

"He's right, the four of you can eat first," Zeoticus said.

Kohta, Sachi, Gin, and Auger start eating quickly. The Gremory family is shocked to see the way Sachi and the others eat. They eat very fast. After a while, the four of them stopped eating because it seemed full.

Listening to the four of them jokingly made Cross a little angry. He looked at Sachi with a slightly murderous aura and said "can you tell me seriously?"

"Important information?" Sirzechs asked curiously

"World Government ?!" Zeoticus and Sirzechs shouted together.

"Did they send Chiper Pol?" Cross asked.

"Maybe yes, but maybe they sent Marine," said Sachi.

"They can't send Marines," said Sairaorg.

"Eh? Why?" Kohta asked in surprise.

"This island has a history with Marine and this kingdom is not a member of the World Government," Cross said.

"What history?" Kohta asked.

"Ask Sairaorg," Cross answered.

"Anoo, what is Chiper Pol?" Rias asked nervously.

"They are organizations under the World Government and not everyone knows about their existence," Cross answered.

"If Cross didn't tell me, I wouldn't know about them either," said Sairaorg, shrugging.

"Are they strong?" Sirzechs asked seriously. What's important is if the kingdom is strong enough against Chiper Pol.

"Yes, we will fight them. You don't need to waste your energy to fight them. Just focus on the two factions," Sairaorg said.

"Are you all right? If your information against Chiper Pol comes out from this island, the World Government will target you. I have never heard of pirates challenging the World Government," said Sirzechs with a little worry.

"Yes, captain !!!" answered all the crews.
