As I took a seat on the counter next to Ace and Luffy, I ordered a quick meal to satisfy my hunger. Next to me, Ace was joyfully drinking a jug of booze while Luffy was eating meat as usual.

"Whitebeard pirates, and the strawhat captain, what a rare sight," I said, smiling at the two of them.

"Who the hell are you?" Ace mumbled, drinking booze as Luffy stared through the corner of his eye.

"I'm just a simple traveler from the New World, I'd never thought I would meet a member of the legendary white beard pirates." I sized Ace up as he started gloating.

"Hahaha, yeah I'm awesome alright. Here have some booze," he said handing me a jug of booze.

"New World? You've been there? Is it a fun place?" Luffy asked, staring me up.

"Yeah, its pretty fun, dangerous too," I could see Luffy smiling while imagining all the different kinds of adventure he would have there.

Just as I was going to grab and fill my mouth with the booze Ace handed me, I heard a voice, "Mugiwara, you can't escape now," oh great, it's the smoky guy.

"AAAH, how'd you find me," Luffy questioned as Smoker turned into gas and flew straight into Ace, flying right into a few walls, creating massive holes in the walls in the process.

"Luffy, I think you got a very bad friend here," Ace said, standing up, "Don't worry lil bro, I'll take care of him," Luffy nodded as he ran out of the store with a chicken thigh in hand.

Other marine soldiers started surrounding the bar with guns in hands to capture the strawhat, as Luffy punched and stretched his way out.

"Strawhat," I yelled," I'll take care of these weaklings for you," they were nothing but weaklings, I wondered how long would they even last against me.

"Thanks, New World guy," Luffy smiled as he waved at me.

"Name's Mark," I smiled," just buy me booze next time we meet," the soldier charged at Luffy, nope you aint doing that, I smiled devilishly, wanting to try out my powers on enemies as I turned my entire body into Ash, black smoke coming out of me. A few of the marines fired guns in my direction as the bullet flew straight threw me, as I spread my Ash all over the street, encompassing the marine soldiers. The soldiers struggled and shot rounds of bullets at me, to no avail. It took me less than 5 minutes to completely knock out every marine in that vicinity.

"That was pretty boring," I stretched my arms out wide, Luffy had escaped long ago, which meant my little mission was completed.

"You…monster," one of the marine soldier said before going unconscious, a disappointment after I let you all live.

A moment later, Ace and Smoker popped out of the bar, still going after each other's throats. The bar was rotting of paint white smoke and flames.

"What's a member of the Whitebeard pirates doing here?" Smoker asked, throwing a smoke punch in Ace's direction.

"I'm on a mission, a very personal mission," Ace replied, dodging and throw a fire punch of his own, "this is pointless, our battle's gonna go on forever. Fire and Smoke, our power doesn't do any damage to one another,"

"Maybe so, but the last thing I'll do is let you pirate vermin roam around free," Smoker leaped as he turned into smoke, surrounding Ace.

"Yo, Ace, you need help fighting him?" I asked, waving at Ace.

"Mark, you still here," Ace looked at me and then the few ten's of unconscious marine officers," you're pretty strong huh, but, I think I'll do this one alone."

Noticing his unconscious brethren, Smoker flared up, his anger directed towards me," another dirty pirate, you will pay for what you did to my comrades. After I handle this vermin."

"Relax angry pants, they're not dead, just unconscious," I dismissed his worry.

Leaving the fight to Ace, I left the area heading to the Palace to grab a copy of the poneglyph, that's when it hit me, the strawhats were going to the same location, and considering my lack of a boat, I could use a taxi.

"Look what we have here, a bag of money," some random crook said in the street I was walking in, "boys surround him,"

"Ah shit, here we go again," I shrugged, swiftly knocking them all out.

Finding the Strawhat ship wasn't hard at all, really, I just had to fly high up in the air and look down, and there it was, the going merry being attacked by marine cannons.

"Time to show off a little," I laughed to myself, flying down, destroying a few marine ships with my [Ash Punch], to be honest, my power was a lot like Ace's and Smoker, a mixture of both you could say, as I could use fire as well as smoke.

Swiftly destroying a few ships, I flew to the Strawhats ship by turning the back half of my body into smoke and using the air to propel myself forward.

"Yo, Luffy," I landed onto of their little garden they had going.

Nami was the first to see me," Ahhh! There's a weirdo on our ship," she yelled, pointing towards me.

"Nah, he's a good guy," Luffy defended me," although I haven't been with him much, I can feel it, in the meat of my food,"
