Shells Town

Shells Town is the third setting of the Romance Dawn Arc. It is located in the Yotsuba Island Region of East Blue. Shells Town is covered with power plant-shaped towers that shoot cannons.

Currently, Kei is having lunch at a restaurant called Food Foo.

While having his meal, Kei then remembered that In the series, luffy and Koby have a meal here after they arrive at shell town.

While luffy and Koby were talking about the pirate hunter Zoro and Marine Captain Morgan. The reaction of other people who were having their meal here was hilarious.

Wanting to try out his luck, Kei then asks for the waiter to come over. "Ehem, I heard that that the marine captain that was in charge of shell town have an axe as a hand, Is it true? His name was Morgan, right?"

Bam!

The other people who were having their meal fall off their seats, spit out their food, and some food and drinks even end up spilling on the floor. Even the waiter ends up tripping and falls on his face.

Sure it might not be that funny if you just look at it in the form of 2D but right now, What kei saw is in 3D.

Kei chuckled looking at the hilarious reaction he got from the people. For some reason, people here are extremely scared of Morgan.

Kei then acts like an ignorant and asks what happen to them...

Morgan or also known as "axe-Hand" Morgan is a Marine captain, the father of Helmeppo, a future friend of Koby that gone through marine training together.

Morgan is also the first significant Marine officer to appear in the storyline.

After his defeat by Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro, he was stripped of his rank for his many cases of abusing his authority.

He is the third antagonist of the Romance Dawn Arc, serving as the main antagonist of the Shells Town subsection.

Morgan is a notably tall, muscular man with tanned skin, blonde hair, and a steel jaw etched with the word Mowe.

As his epithet suggests, his right hand has been replaced with a huge steel axe, the handle of which is not only bolted through the bones of his forearm but sticks out where his elbow should be.

Kei won't try to target Morgan because he doesn't want the one piece history about Zoro joining the straw hats to change.

While Zoro was searching for Mihawk the greatest swordsman. He got lost and end up being a bounty hunter. Zoro killed Helmeppo pet wolf because it was disturbing the people and he ends up being tied on a cross without being given food or water for a few days before being save by luffy

One of the reasons Zoro becomes part of luffy crew is that he was saved by luffy after all.

And seeing that luffy is dedicated to his dream to be the pirate king, Zoro thought that he might as well join the crew to meet Mihawk in the future while sailing.

Kei wants Zoro to join the straw hats crew, Especially because Zoro is also one of the reasons luffy survives during the thriller bark arc.

The sacrifice that Zoro makes made the fan fall in love with his character. Of course, kei is one of those fans.

After finishing his meal and pay up, kei decided to find an inn and hit the hay for today. the day was already starting to be dark and kei was also tired and a bit seasick from sailing in a boat for a decently long time.

The Next Day,

Kei have spent the night in a cheap inn, His old habit from earth makes kei a little stingy in some of his spendings.

Although kei did accidentally spend lavishly on food because the food here is tastier.

Kei was surprised by how his appetite has grown but he still needs to be a bit tactical about how he spends his money before he have a way to get some income.

He did plan to do some bounty hunting but he is still not sure if he truly can do it. Deep down kei is still a careful guy after all and he doesn't want to make the mistake of blindly targeting someone without carefully checking their capabilities.

Kei won't be reckless like luffy. Not only that, If possible kei doesn't want to use his zoan or hybrid form because it will attract too much attention. At a glance, people could already tell that a flying dragon snake like creature is not normal.

Kei also don't want kaido to get the news that there's a dragon like mystical zoan similar to his that is owned by a weak user. Kei is sure that kaido might try to make him part of the beast pirates.

So kei plan is simple, To not use his zoan and hybrid form unless necessary. At least not until he can run away from strong people, So he will try to not be too obvious that he have dragon type mythical zoan.

After showering and freshen himself, kei then wears the cloth that he bought from foosha village. It was an ordinary t-shirt with a jacket that has a cool pattern on it and black pants that look and feel super comfy to wear.

The cloth set was custom made for him by the tailor because he asks for easy to move and soft texture cloth. Although the price is kind of expensive compare to the ordinary cloth because the cloth he asks for use pretty high quality stuff to be made. but it was a good buy in kei opinion.

At first, Kei was surprised by how good the cloth he ordered has turned out. So kei end up spending some more to get around 5 sets of it in different patterns and colors.

Getting out of the inn full of confidence in his new cloth, Kei then headed to Food foo again.

In Food foo, There are a few bounty posters that were hanging on the wall. Kei plan to look around some of it and if there's one that doesn't seem so hard then he will try out his luck.

Kei knew that he can handle most of them like a breeze if he were to use hybrid or his zoan form but words will spread if he uses it too often and how can he improve his fighting techniques if he just blasts off his enemy just as the fight about to start.

So Kei will train using weak people first and then slowly move up to stronger people. And if possible then he won't even use his wind ability at all so that he can gain more experience in combat without using any power.

Kei has never been in a fight before so his combat technique is non-existent. He knew that he needs to improve himself starting from now because without proper fighting capability than how will he survive in the future.

After a bit of browsing, kei then finds a wanted poster that was posted by a merchant.

Jarvin the molester, after a failed attempt to molest the merchant daughter, jarvin has been in hiding with his 4 lackeys since.

Jarvin is a fighter that knows rod related martial art. With the bounty of 500 thousand beli, capture jarvin alive and hand him over to the merchant.

That was pretty much the detail on what needs to be done. Kei was interested in this jarvin guy, It's not because of the bounty but because jarvin is a martial artist. And what better punching bag than an evil martial artist.

Kei then looks into the detail of how jarvin and his lackeys look like, kei then headed on his way in search of him.

It took kei more than half a day to find jarvin, Turns out jarvin was hiding in a tree base. It was due to a stroke of luck that kei actually end up finding jarvin within a day because he accidentally saw one of jarvin's lackeys who was acting suspiciously when buying food.

Taking a deep breath, Kei then walks towards jarvin and his lackeys who were eating under the tree base.

"Huh? are you one of those bounty hunters? I'm in a bad mood now so unfortunately, I have to at least kill you!" Jarvin said intimidatingly towards kei with an evil smile on his face

"Hahahahaha, Boss don't bother and just let the kid go. He look so scrawny so I don't think this guy is a bounty hunter hahaha" one of the lackey said while looking at kei

Jarvin was pretty big and muscular in stature while his lackeys are thin.

Kei was confident that he could win but if he wants to practice fighting without using his power then he is bound to get hit and be injured which is why he is a bit nervous right now.

He might have got injured a few times before from an accident and such on earth but a big injury from stuff like fighting or getting a beating is something that kei never experienced.

Although kei is extremely nervous about his first fight right now. Closing his eyes to calm himself, A weird smile appeared on Kei's face.

Clenching his 5 fingers into a fist, kei then dash towards the laughing lackey. Without using any power, his fish land a solid hit on the lackey's face and probably broke a few teeth while sending the lackey flying a few meters back.

Jarvin and the other 3 lackey was speechless upon seeing what had happened just now. Throwing away their food to the ground while each grabs a metal rod that they put on their back. Making a fighting stance while looking towards kei.

"Now you done it you brat! I finish you off myself! Now taste my attack!" Jarvin said while dashing towards kei readying his rod for a swing.

The 3 lackeys only watch from the back while also checking out on their fallen comrade conditions.

As jarvin rod swing comes from the top, Using his two hands to make an x defend pose, kei took jarvin attack head-on.

Bam!

A solid hit was mad by jarvin but there's no change to kei stance. Jarvin was shocked because usually, he can KO his enemy in one swing.

"Not bad, I guess a bounty hunter is still a bounty hunter. But that's about it, In the end, you will die by my hand!" jarvin said while continuing his attack

Huh? It's not that painful at all. I feel like a kid is hitting me instead

Don't tell me....

Is my body now so strong to the point these common street thugs can't hurt me? If it's true then my devil fruit is way too op then....

Not only it gave me a powerful logic defying power but also a strong body

A grin then appeared on kei face, Feeling that something is off, Jarvin back away a few meters making a defensive stance with his rod.

Kei runs towards jarvin and attacks him. Trying out different martial art that he have saw on tv like taekwondo, kung fu, etc.

Unfortunately, although jarvin is big in stature, he is surprisingly agile which makes kei attack easily deflected and avoid by him. Kei was frustrated that none of his attacks manage to connect.

"Tsk, I guess I use a bit of my power" Kei said in a low voice

Slowly, The air nearby starts to create a round dome with kei as the center, It's not like the defensive dome that he uses when sparring with luffy, it's wider and thinner and basically even more invisible like it was not there at all because it was spread widely.

As soon as kei creates the wind dome, his attack starts to reach jarvin. kei invisible wind dome acts as a sensor. he was able to tell which way jarvin will attack or run as soon as jarvin makes any sort of move.

This is basically an observation haki that could tell the future movement of your opponent. Although it's probably inferior to the real deal but it was better than nothing.

Jarvin notice that something was off, Kei couldn't land a hit at all at first but suddenly all his attacks manage to hit him. Kei martial art is extremely trashy and jarvin could clearly see that but his fist pack quite the punch.

This goes on for a few hours and kei slowly got better at fighting, While jarvin is getting more and more tired with bruised and some broken bones.

He already hit kei with his metal road hundreds of times already but there's no bruise at all on kei skin.

"Dammit, Attack!!!"

Jarvin decisively said after seeing the strength gap between him and kei. Now kei is surrounded by 3 of jarvin's lackeys and jarvin who each have a metal rod ready to hit kei.

Jarvin lackey understands his intention because even after all those crazy rod attacks made by jarvin, Kei don't have any injuries.

Even if there are no injuries, Fighting for a few hours must have already exhausted kei stamina. Hoping that numbers will be enough against kei, All of them including jarvin attack at the same time.

"Sigh, And I still want to train some more... Oh well, I'm hungry anyway so time for you guys to turn off your light switch I guess, Sayonara" Kei said while smiling menacingly at the 4 people approaching him.

Bang!

" What happe...." Jarvin muttered before he passed out

All 4 people got sent flying back and passed out, It's like a mini explosion just occurred in front of all of them at the same time.

In the split second, before any of them reach kei, Kei has created a mini marble size condensed wind in the tip of each of his fingers on his left hand.

Firing them like a bullet to his enemy, The moment they make contact, the marble size wind explodes and the impact not only makes them passed out but also sent their bodies flying a few meters back.

"Not bad, and none of them died just like how I want it to, I shall name this technique bullet bomb" Kei said with a tone full of pride.

Kei then tied them all up, While humming he then dragged their unconscious body and headed to the merchant house to claim his bounty.
