Chapter 3: Arrival In Underwater Slave Park
Ugh-
Arwol felt a weird sensation all over his body. He tried to move his hands, but failed to.
He was conscious but couldn't open his eyes. It was terrifying...
But never stopped trying. Just after the fourth try, he could finally open those tight shut eyelids and view the world.
Blink- Blink-
"Huh!?"
He was left puzzled when he regained his sight. He was lying on the ground and all he could see was almost a broken ceiling with a few cracks.
He pulled himself up, raising himself only to find his hands Immobile.
He lowered his gaze and found that his hands were cuffed with a hand cuff! That's why he couldn't move then apart.
"Wha-"
He wanted to question the situation at which he had arrived bur he remained calm and assessed the situation.
He looked first left and then right...
'I realize where I am...', he found out and had the following conclusion.
'In a prison. I'm a captive.'
There were at least twenty more men and women trapped here, each with a handcuff of their own. Some even had long and tight ropes wrapped around their bodies.
And amidst them, there was this one particular person who stood out - a woman with a weird-looking shark-like tattoo on her left arm. She had orange-tangerine colored hair. Paired with big eyes and quite average to big chest, she walked left and right across the hallway, outside the prison.
Arwol was not attracted simply because of this external appearance. It was something else...
The screen that was levitating in front of him showed something peculiar.
Ding!
[You have found the Navigator of the Future Pirate King!]
Ding!
[You cannot let her meet the destined person. You have to intercept her and make sure she never sets her eye on the One Piece.]
Arwol's eyes widened in surprise.
'So, she's a pirate? And will become someone so great in the future!?', that was a shocker.
'And this system is indirectly hinting at eliminating her.', his gaze started to become piercing.
The orange haired lady, with her intuition, turned towards Arwol and glared back at him.
"You Mongrel, what are you staring at!?", she raised her voice, almost a thunderous roar.
"Uh, no, I-"
"Shut your damn mouth creep! Never seen a woman before?!", she was rude.
Arwol couldn't believe what he was hearing. A woman outright dissing him... that was new!
But he then realized why she did that.
As he lowered his gaze, he found that he was still wearing the classic marine shirt - the entire uniform. And since she was a pirate, it was obviously natural for her to hate him.
But was that all!?
"Haha, he is a marine, isn't he? You sure you should be speaking that way?", a guy with brown skin having many patches asked.
'A Fishman?', Arwol turned towards this fish-like-looking creature.
And the orange-haired lady, scoffed and with a laugh said, "Marine or not, a dead man can't report anyone anything."
"W-what do you mean?", Arwol asked, a bit confused.
The lady turned and, with a smirk on her face, but a few sweat droplets streaming down simultaneously, said, "I've decided. Tonight's dinner, it will be you."
"..."
Ding!
