Chapter 5: First Battle

"Hahaha! Look at this kid, thinking he'll be able to beat us!" Roshio laughed and the pirates followed suit.

"I'll take this guy on, please deal with the others." Tyr rolled his sleeve and Roshio started to get pissed.

"You looking down on me, kid? I'll capture your girls and let you watch as we fuck them real good!" Roshio charged at him.

'Right at the front, an amateur.' Tyr defended with his hand and Roshio thought he was just an idiot.

But his sword got caught by his hand and Roshio thought he was hallucinating.

"Surprised?" Tyr squeezed the blade and it shattered like glass.

"W-what the fuck?" Roshio backed off immediately.

"Agh!" Roshio then heard his men dropping like flies with a scream.

The Boa sisters were manhandling them like small-time thugs. Which they were, really.

"Who the hell are you?" Roshio glared at Tyr and he shrugged.

"Who knows? Wouldn't you like to know?" Tyr started walking towards him.

"So you're called the executioner huh?" Tyr stared at him coldly.

"G-get away from me..." Roshio started to tremble. He didn't have haki, but he could feel Tyr's imposing presence. The aura of a supreme king.

"Say? Confess your crimes and I'll think about letting you live in Impel Down." Tyr continued his walk towards him leisurely.

'Who the fuck is this brat!? I... I have to get out of here.' Roshio turned around and ran.

"Ope, we can't have that now." Tyr broke off a chair's leg and threw it at Roshio, nailing him right on the head.

He then jumped and landed right on his back. Tyr lifted his head through his hair and forced him to look him in the eye.

"So, what will it be?" Tyr asked once again and Roshio paled like paper.

"I... I pillage villages, take the women... Then discard them after." Roshio started stating his crimes.

Tyr was just quiet. "W-will we go to Impel Down?" Roshio asked with a shaky voice.

"I told you, I'd think about it. So you will be let free." Tyr smiled at him and Roshio beamed.

"Eh?" Roshio didn't know what happened as his vision turned upside down after hearing a sickening crack.

"Phew, barkeep. Cash in on this punk's bounty yeah? For the trouble." Tyr looked around and the Boa sisters killed all of them as well.

They were obviously unsavory pirates. So the girls took action.

"We should've just sent them to Impel Down, Tyr. That place is said to torture prisoners until they want to die." Hancock thought that death was too easy for them.

"Hmmm, you're right. I didn't know that, so I just killed him." Tyr squinted his eyes.

"Oi, oi, you okay?" Garp asked them in worry and Tyr looked at him fondly.

"You don't need to worry, Garp." Tyr nodded at him and Garp sighed.

'I guess these kids saw some things...' Garp didn't wanna know.

"The guy we killed was called Roshio. Are pirates in the grand line this weak?" Tyr asked him and Garp snorted.

"Of course they are. You wouldn't last against the first pirate you meet in the new world. Their strength is leagues apart." Garp reaffirmed.

"I see, then let's go to east blue. We would have more progress fighting you." Hancock crossed her arms in protest.

"Yeah, I don't think these punks will be a challenge with haki." Sandersonia added.

"Ditto." Marigold nodded at them. "Besides, we need to use haki continuously in order to strengthen it." Tyr expounded.

"Yeesh, fine, fine. I'll let you meet my cute grandsons! Except the older one, he's a little shit." Garp grumbled.

They then travelled towards east blue. Their destination, Dawn island.

__Next day__

After another whole day of extreme rowing from Garp. They arrived at Dawn island and the group walked towards Foosha village.

The hometown of Monkey, D. Garp. "Here's home!" Garp grinned at them.

"It's pretty quiet, like a sleepy village." Tyr expected it to be rambunctious like Garp.

"Aye, it's nice and quiet here. A pretty good place to grow up." Garp smiled softly.

"Come on, let's go visit my grandsons!" Garp led them to a bar.

"Your son is in a bar?" Tyr raised a brow at him.

"No you idiot, the owner of the bar is raising Luffy for now. Hey, Makino!" Garp called out to the bartender.

"Garp! Hello! Who's the ladies and the cute boy?" Makino smiled at them softly.

"Wow, she already owns a bar? She's like Hancock's age." Tyr was surprised.

"Hehe, I don't. My parents own the partys bar! But I'm already learning to inherit it." Makino explained.

Tyr then saw the Boa sisters pout at him. "Hey, Garp. Why are they in a bad mood?" Tyr asked him and Garp laughed his ass off.

"That's your problem buahahaha! How about you check with your haki?" Garp didn't even give him a hint.

"Makino, huh?" Hancock looked at her from head to toe.

"Gosh, you girls look so pretty!" Makino looked at them with stars in her eyes and the Boa sisters were shocked.

"Uhh, huh?" Sandersonia and Marigold played with their hair while Hancock huffed with a blush on her face.

"Now, they're in a good mood again. Girls are confusing." Tyr rolled his eyes and sat on the bar.

"Makino, one chilled milk please." Tyr ordered and the Boa sisters got some juice.

"Wait right here, I'll show you the little rascal!" Garp entered Makino's house.

"This is a pretty good place to live in. Not like Amazon Lily though." Hancock appreciated the calm atmosphere of the village.

"Yeah, something exactly I would like in the future." Tyr nodded as he sipped on his milk.

"Hey, how about we bring you there in the future?" Sandersonia suggested.

"Amazon Lily is beautiful! Though it's in the calm belt which is infested with sea kings." Marigold shrugged.

"Well, I'll definitely love to see your home island." Tyr smiled at them and they beamed at him.

"Oi, stop flirting and behold!" Garp showed them a little boy with black hair.

"Gwamps, who awe they?" Little Luffy was holding a piece of meat as he looked at them.

"He's a cute little guy, isn't he?" Tyr chuckled at Luffy's appearance.

"Awww, isn't he such a cute little thing." Hancock ruffled his hair.

'Ahhh, I wonder if my child will be cute too.' Hancock looked at Tyr for a quick second.

"Heh, he's a little menace though. He'll eat all your supplies in a heartbeat!" Garp laughed and Luffy looked at Garp.

"Gwamp, will they give me meat?" Luffy even had a shirt that said meat on it.

"Hahaha, Luffy's a glutton alright." Makino laughed and the other customers agreed.

"Hmm, then give the little guy all the meat you have." Tyr took out a wad of cash and Makino tried to return back the extra.

"Think of it as the payment for all the other snacks that this little guy will definitely try to steal in the future." Tyr laughed as he ruffled Luffy's hair.

"Big bwo... What's youw name!?" Luffy had stars in his eyes. He gave him meat, he was definitely a good person in his eyes.

"Tyr, remember it well okay?" He smiled st Luffy and he nodded.

"Big bwo Tyw!" Luffy grinned and he even had a chipped tooth. Perhaps from biting a bone too hard.

"How old is he?" Sandersonia gave him some meat as she pampered Luffy.

"I'm one, two. Two!" Luffy counted and they cooed at him.

"Ey! You still can't count!?" Garp sighed as he thought that his grandson definitely only had meat in his head.

"Hmmm, you're not raising him right Garp. You gotta teach them how they'll understand better." Tyr nodded sagely.

"Listen, Luffy. If you can count, you won't get cheated when you buy meat in the future." Marigold explained to Luffy and he got determined.

"Aye! I'll count bettew to buy mowe meat!" Luffy grinned at them.

"You've got a funny little brat here, Garp." Tyr laughed.

"Could use a little more brains though. How can they pass the test of the marines?" Garp sighed.

After entertaining Luffy, he started to get sleepy and Garp led them towards a mountain called Colubo.

"Oi! Dadan!" Garp shouted extremely loudly and the group had to cover their ears.

"Can you be any louder, old fart?" Tyr winced and the Boa sisters glared at him.

"Oi, you think we're at the next island away, Garp!?" A fat woman with curly hair the same color as Marigold's suddenly appeared.

"Buahaha! It's so your lazy ass will come quickly!" Garp grinned at her.

"Huh? Oi, oi, oi, don't tell me you'll be giving me more brats to take care of." Dadan glared at Garp.

"Hello, I am Tyr. And no, we're not here to live with you or anything." Tyr explained and Dadan sighed in relief.

"That brat Ace is already causing enough trouble here, Garp!" Dadan grumbled.

"Buahaha! Good thing his brother Luffy will come in a few years too!" Garp laughed his ass off.

Dadan's face fell immediately at that. She might be able to complain, but she can't refuse.

'Damn, if only we weren't bandits.' Dadan cursed Garp in her mind.

"And don't kid yourself, these brats belong on the grand line. They'll beat almost anyone's ass in Paradise." Garp revealed and Dadan went wide eyed.

"So you're training little monsters too huh?" Dadan sighed. Thinking he should just bring his other grandson to the marines.

"Dadan, do we have lunch yet?" A freckled boy appeared and he grimaced when he saw Garp.

"Oi! Ace! Have you realized that you're for the marines now!?" Garp caught him and Ace struggled violently.

"Let me go! I'm not becoming a stinking marine old man!" Ace was as belligerent as it gets.

"You have a little spitfire too huh, Garp?" Tyr snickered at him.

"Who are they?" Ace raised a brow and Garp snorted.

"None of your business, I mean it." Garp sounded uncharacteristically serious and they went quiet.

'These brats aren't as simple as they seem... Nobles perhaps? They look extremely wealthy.' Dadan looked at them.

"Well, you better not poke your nose into something you don't want to." Hancock warned them as they realized a long time ago that Tyr isn't just a run of the mill celestial dragon.

"Think about your enlistment, Ace! No grandson of mine won't be in the marines, hear me!?" Garp shouted at him and Ace blew raspberries on him as he ran away.

"That damned brat." Garp rubbed his temples and he led Tyr's group into the forest.

"Okay, brats. We'll be training your haki to the best of its abilities. And that is to use them as much as you can. The others will also use their devil fruits as much as possible." Garp looked at the Boa sisters.

"Let's get it on, old man." Tyr took off his shirt, pants, and shoes.

Or he won't have them at the end of their little spar.

"Come!" Garp shouted and they started to jump him viciously.

With observation haki, their coordination was impeccable. Their trust with each other also helped tremendously.

A flurry of blows tried to hit Garp, but he suddenly showcased impeccable flexibility. Like a leaf being blown by the wind.

"What the hell is that?" Sandersonia was trying to wrap her body around him as her fruit was the hebi hebi no mi; model: Anaconda.

"Take this!" Marigold tried to bite him, but her fangs felt like it tried to pierce pure steel.

"Ahhh! T-that's impossible, you didn't use haki." Marigold rubbed her mouth in pain.

"Tch, I can imbue my devil fruit on my attacks now, Garp!" Hancock tried to kick him. But he suddenly disappeared in place.

'Did he kick the ground multiple times? What?' Tyr felt it with his observation haki.

"Heh, you're too green, brats!" Garp kicked the air and they suddenly saw a vacuum blade form in front of Garp.

"Wha!?" Tyr went in front and he imbued armament haki on his arms to block it.

"Aeugh!" Tyr was sent flying, but the Boa sisters didn't incur any damage.

"Tyr!" They cried out. "Don't get distracted!" Garp jabbed them with a finger.

The sisters obviously used haki, but their defense got pierced and they went wide eyed in shock and pain.

"W-what the hell?" Tyr arrived and he looked at Garp with suspicion.

"I'm going to teach you the greatest fighting style in the world as well. The six powers of the marines." Garp started to jump in the air like he had footholds.

"That's bullshit." Tyr deadpanned as he got poked by Garp and it pierced his torso like he was made of butter.
