Chapter 31: Dark King

Passing through the calm belt and grand line to east blue. Tyr and Maria had to make a detour.

Or they'll be too close to one of the three great bases of the navy; Enies lobby.

It formed a triangle with Impel down and Marineford. Creating a vortex inside the triangle due to the disturbances of currents.

And they can't be entered due to the ginormous, steel gates. Called the gates of justice.

After crossing the other side of the calm belt, they moved incredibly quickly with Tyr's jets.

And after a day, they arrived at Sabaody archipelago that had tons of bubbles. Made from resin of a tree called Yarukiman mangroves.

They were extremely strong and can even coat a whole ship with it so it could dive to the depths of the seas.

"Oh, this place is an archipelago. I forgot to ask what archipelago the bar is on..." Tyr blinked.

"Shouldn't we just ask people?" Maria pointed at a random person and her web caught them.

"Ahhh! Please! Don't kill me!" The guy screamed as he saw Maria's tall frame and horns.

"Don't be dramatic, just tell us where Shakky's rip-off bar is." Maria rolled her eyes.

"Well, that can work." Tyr smiled wryly as he apologized to the guy in his head.

"I... I don't know!" The guy was useless. "Or not." Tyr sighed.

"Aren't you useless?" Maria let him go and she pouted at Tyr.

"What? People make mistakes." Tyr defended himself.

"It was so simple, just ask Gloriosa where it was." Maria rolled her eyes and they roamed around.

While they were asking around, they noticed something weird.

"Why is everyone prostrating?" Maria raised a brow and Tyr sucked in a cold breath.

"Celestial dragons... Fuck, I forgot that Sabaody has auctions for slaves." Tyr furrowed his brows.

He immediately carried Maria and he jumped towards the top of a tree.

There, they watched a fat bastard that was wearing a bubble on his head.

He was being carried by a slave and he was obviously inbred, based on his looks alone.

"Ew, what the fuck? How can you be the same as that guy?" Maria compared them.

"What the hell? Obviously, I'm not an inbred freak." Tyr took offense to that.

"Oi! Keep on crawling, useless horse." The man kicked the slave's head who was struggling to carry him.

Tyr growled and Maria prepared strings to stop him. 'I'm sure this won't do anything anyways...' Maria winced.

"Mama? Why are we prostrating on the ground?" A young girl asked her mother and she immediately covered her mouth.

"Hmmm? A dirty monkey doesn't know? Then I'll show you." The celestial dragon pulled out a golden gun and pointed it at the little girl who was struggling against her mother.

"Because you're born to serve the gods." The man was about to pull the trigger, but he suddenly saw a shadow form in front of him.

"Wha?" He looked behind him and saw Tyr's full glory.

The black flames on his back burning brightly. His muscles that were like steel cables flexed.

"Tyr! No!" Maria tried to stop him. Shocked that he suddenly disappeared from her side.

"Hngh!" Tyr suddenly released a hook that was infused with armament haki.

The celestial dragon's head exploded and everyone watched in utter shock.

"You fool!" Maria gritted her teeth as she went down immediately.

"Maria, evacuate everyone here. I will buy you time." Tyr sat down with a steely expression on his face.

"But!" Maria was about to pull on him as the navy would be making their way there immediately.

"BUT NOTHING!" Tyr's conqueror's haki exploded.

"Ideals, influence your principles. Principles, form your values. Values, lead to action. And action, forges the path to achieve your ideals." Tyr looked at her with a scary expression on his face that made her shiver.

"What kind of person would I be if I cannot even save an innocent little girl? A man who does not act for his ideals, will achieve nothing!" Tyr planted himself on the ground.

"S-stay safe, I will bring everyone to safety. I will meet you at Shakky's bar." Maria used her webs to evacuate everyone.

And waiting at the middle of a clearing with a corpse of a celestial dragon in front of him. Tyr prepared for a fight of a life time.

"Freeze! Put your hands up in the air!" After some time, marines appeared in droves. Circling around him.

"Hah, this will be troublesome. A celestial dragon dying. Serves these bastards right though." Admiral black arm Zephyr has arrived.

"You're here, Zephyr. I didn't know you got reinstated as an admiral." Tyr stood up and he went wide eyed.

"T- King... You sure did a number on us." Zephyr wasn't a dumbass like Garp though, immediately putting the blame on a fellow Lunarian, Kaido's 1st mate.

"Are we gonna keep talking, or we'll do this?" Tyr squinted his eyes.

"Get out of here! You'll just be hindrances!" Zephyr shouted and the fodder escaped from there.

"The world government has been looking for you. I never expected you'll kill a celestial dragon here in Sabaody. Though I was sure you'll kill one eventually." Zephyr grinned.

"I'm quite lucky, meeting you instead. But we have to make things believable, no?" Tyr cracked his neck.

"Right, let's see how far you've come. Think of this as making your haki bloom." Zephyr clenched his metal arm.

They looked at each other for a tense few seconds.

Then they suddenly disappeared from their locations.

With Tyr using quadruple soru, he matched Zephyr's speed and their fists clashed in the middle of the clearing.

With an earth-shattering shockwave, their armament haki vied for supremacy.

Hurricane force winds assaulted the island as it shook lightly. Their showcase of strength, signifying that a titanic battle was underway.

"You've gotten stronger... But not enough." Zephyr roared as he pushed through.

Sending Tyr flying through dozens of massive trees.

Before they could fall down and crack the earth. One of them got thrown to Zephyr like a javelin.

"Paltry tricks!" Zephyr punched it into millions of fragments.

"Eat this! Old man! Haaa!" Tyr incorporated his fire to his acceleration and appeared above the admiral.

Tyr raised his leg to the skies and a jet of black flames appeared on his toe, increasing the torque of his kick exponentially.

"Come!" Zephyr blocked with a cross guard, coating his arms with haki.

Light shone for a brief second before everything exploded like a bomb.

Black flames rained, razing the clearing to the ground. Tyr then formed a wall of flames that restricted his attacks from spreading.

Fireballs that were akin to meteors fell and exploded. Turning the battlefield into an apocalyptic sea of blazing flames.

Tyr saw Zephyr grin as he was buried in the ground. But otherwise, the only damage he received was on his coat and clothes.

"Raaah!" The two of them stood in front of each other, delivering machine gun blows.

With Tyr's durability that kept on increasing throughout the years, he tanked Zephyr's blows and Zephyr parried his punches with his superior haki.

"How about this!? Rokuogan!" Zephyr suddenly did a double palm strike and Tyr backed off a bit so it would miss.

"Agh!" Tyr coughed up blood as a shockwave pierced through his body. Delivering a blow directly to his insides.

"Shigan!" Zephyr poked holes through him and the tides of battle turned.

Using kami-e, Tyr dodged as much as he could.

"Hah!" Tyr used his flexibility and kneed Zephyr on the chin.

Before he could fly, Tyr grabbed his leg and spun him like a rope.

"That hurt!" Tyr slammed him into the ground and the air inside of Zephyr's lungs escaped due to the vicious attack.

Tremors wracked the ground at every slam. "Eat dirt, old fart!" Tyr grabbed his head and plowed the earth with his face.

Finishing with a throw that sent Zephyr crashing through dozens of trees.

A vacuum wave cut through the clouds of dust and Tyr matched it with his own rankyaku.

Adding flames into it to counter the stronger one.

"You're a vicious brat." Zephyr appeared, his shades were done in and he was bleeding on his head.

"That shockwave was moreso, you old fart." Tyr squinted his eyes.

Zephyr's whole arm got coated with thick haki. So much so that it turned jet-black.

"Let's truly make your haki bloom, brat." Zephyr disappeared and Tyr blocked his attack.

With tekkai mixed in, Zephyr's arm felt like a steel pipe hit his arms and Tyr flew like a bullet.

Righting himself on the air with his wings, he used quadruple soru to get back on the fight.

A black javelin made of fire formed on his hand and he anchored himself on the ground suddenly.

Throwing it with all his might, Zephyr dodged to the side immediately and it hit the ground.

Like a nuclear bomb that concentrated its explosion to one side, it vaporized anything in its way.

"Haaah!" Their fists clashed against each other once again.

Jets of black flame exploding after every hit, the ground they were on started melting.

'He's getting fiercer and stronger!' Zephyr can't believe it.

"You're distracted!" Javelins of fire appeared above them and Zephyr went wide eyed.

They hit the ground immediately, releasing a titanic explosion that made the island tremble.

The ground rippled like water and a mushroom cloud of fire appeared above the island. Lightning crackling at the skies as tornadoes started to form.

Zephyr charged at him with a roar and they pushed against each other, cracking the earth as lava formed around them due to Tyr's extreme heat.

"You're open!" Zephyr headbutted him on the chest and Tyr heard his sternum crack.

"Gah! I'm not done yet you old cunt!" Zephyr saw light in his mouth and Tyr roared.

A black beam made of pure heat escaped from his mouth and Zephyr had to coat his whole body in haki.

The beam of fire was so strong that Tyr couldn't control his neck. And everything that stood in his fire, evaporated into nothing.

"Don't underestimate me, old man Zephyr!" Tyr flew to the skies and lightning fell behind him, showing his silhouette. Looking like an angel.

A diadem of jet-black flames formed on his crown and a halo appeared behind him.

"Be reduced to cinders!" A beacon of fire roared to life.

The battlefield turning into a lake of lava. "What a ridiculous brat..." Zephyr grinned as both of his arms turned black due to haki.

"HECATONCHEIRES!" Tyr's back suddenly erupted with fire.

The clouds above him disappeared due to the shockwave, showing a beautiful, blue sky.

But along with the visibility, came a shower of fire. As if the heavens were burning and falling from the sky.

"Guhahaha! Do you wanna destroy this island you fucking brat!?" Zephyr leaped into the air as he used geppo.

Arms made of blazing, black flames tried to burn him into cinders. They disconnected from Tyr after he locked on to a target.

The titanic hands crashing down on the island, it lit up like a bonfire in the night as energy packed fireballs exploded like ordnance strikes.

"This is it! Come!" Tyr used his ultimate technique that would put him to bed for weeks.

Compressing his blazing energy as a Lunarian inside of his body.

He mimicked nuclear reactors that collide atoms to produce exponential amounts of energy.

The very air around Tyr seemed to burn. Plasma beginning to form as arcs of lightning crackled around him.

"Ouroboros!" Tyr turned into a human torch as he pushed his body to the absolute limit.

"Those two seem to be running wild in Sabaody... I just can't let them destroy an island, yeah? Especially that winged guy, his haki bloom is insane." A dandy old man with glasses took out a sword.

Tyr accelerated towards Zephyr like a blazing meteor as he outputted energy that could power up an entire country.

"Eat this old man!" Tyr's wings released jets of fire so concentrated that they were like beams.

"Gladly!" Zephyr met him head on and their fists clashed.

"Aeugh!" Zephyr was sent spiraling down to the ground as Tyr's fist released a burst of energy upon impact.

"That's quite enough, young man." The dandy old man suddenly appeared in front of Tyr. His blade was black and crackling with reddish-black lightning.

Tyr didn't even see his sword coming. But what he did saw, was it didn't even touch him.

"Ahhh!" Tyr was sent flying into the sky and the old man snorted.

"Dark king... Rayleigh." Zephyr uttered as he slowly stood up.

"Zephyr, it's been a long time." Rayleigh smirked at him.
