"I never imagined appearing like this again, if I can even say I am alive again..." A voice echoed amidst the dark mist that embraced an old ship.

This vessel was weathered by time and neglected by the world. Its once-majestic wooden hull now displayed the visible signs of relentless time. Rust corroded the rusted nails that held the planks together, while the faded and torn sails hung in tatters, forlorn against the chilly wind whispering through the Florian Triangle.

At the heart of this decrepit ship, a solitary figure emerged from the dark shadows. It was a skeleton, slender and tall, standing 266 centimeters tall on the worn deck.

The place where it stood at that moment was the Florian Triangle of the first half of the grand line, a graveyard of ships and their crews. Rarely did anyone emerge alive from this deadly area, where the line between life and death was thin.

There was nothing to see in these waters with the dark mist, all that any being could see was just a few meters in front of them.

Thus, in this somber and mysterious setting, the skeleton contemplated its new body and the unsettling uncertainty that surrounded it. This being glanced at its body quickly in a disdainful manner, through the fog.

"This body is ridiculous, I refuse to remain like this!" The voice was heard again, but to no one in particular, paying attention. This skeleton would be a famous character in this world in a few years ahead, but at the moment it was just someone invisible to the world, since its former appearance was replaced by bones as soon as it died, it was known as Brook, but this skeleton is no longer Brook at the same time.

"Brook has a big body, but it's too skinny for my taste," he grumbled, his voice echoing with dissatisfaction. "Now that I've taken his shape and his body, I intend to train this body through a rigorous exercise program to see if that God really gave me the ability to change the skeleton's body as soon as I knew I was going to come here in this character."

Determination shone in his empty eyes gaining red spots that Brook didn't have before, this new being emerged at this moment, was a turning point for the fate of this world, changing any prophecy that had been for hundreds of years just with its existence.

The soul that took over Brook's body was from a different world, a world where One Piece was treated as a visual work, he was chosen as soon as he died by a Rob wanting to kill his boredom and who always liked to put different characters in worlds that he created using works from the original world of that soul to see how they were affected, this Rob didn't care if the worlds became better or even worse leading some to destruction, all he wanted was to have fun watching different things happening in this universe.

In this case, this new Brook was chosen after the soul that took him over died, of course, the person in this skeleton was excited that he could have another chance at life, however, when he saw that he would be Brook, the slender skeleton of the mugiwaras, he almost cursed the supreme being.

"How can you choose me to be a skeleton that keeps asking to see panties?!" The soul couldn't hold back.

"Hahahahahahaha!" Rob wasn't angry, he just laughed with pleasure at that soul and continued to speak. "Don't be so nervous, how about this, I will give you the Yami Yami no mi, your skeletal body will be able to support 2 akuma no mi, how about that?"

"That doesn't sound too bad, so I'll have Brook's Yomi Yomi no mi plus the Yami Yami no mi that should be Teach's? Wait what's going to happen to Teach?" The soul asked.

"Exactly, as for Blackbeard... I'm thinking of trolling him. Hahaha I can't wait to see his face! But I'm also going to reward you, this world can't be so easy for you..." Rob commented.

"I see... but let me ask for three things then, since I'm going to be a skeleton." The soul requested.

"I want to have physiological needs like sex, be able to have children, and be able to modify my body like muscles, along with the techniques of Geppo and Soru at least." The soul demanded.

"Well, the original Brook already has his physiological needs, but I can grant that to you yes. As for the techniques, I will also give you, but you will only have the training method and will have to develop them." He confirmed and Brook nodded.

"This is great for me," the new Brook spoke.

"Then good luck!" Rob smiled, eager to see how this new Brook would fare in this world.

Now on the ship in the Florian Triangle, Brook still thought about the conversation with Rob. At least now he had a chance to be here, a second chance at life, and he would not waste it.

"This world... wait for me, for this will be my era!" Brook spoke, his eyes shining even brighter in his skull.

The new Brook, whose personality had undergone a profound transformation with the arrival of a new soul in his skeletal body, now manifested a severe voice, devoid of the jokes and iconic laughter that characterized his original form. He radiated an aura of frightening austerity, notably standing out in his skeletal visage.

"Anyway," he continued, his words resonating through the emptiness that surrounded him, "I don't know exactly what time I am in history... Luffy would appear with his crew in the original Brook's timeline, but I am not going to join that crew. I will make my own way as I declared that this world will enter my era for me to make the most of it."

Brook then looked at the boat and the fog around it. "But first, I feel like something is missing in me, probably my shadow, Gecko Moria must have already stolen it at this moment." He said, looking back trying to see his shadow, but as there was only darkness, he couldn't see it missing anyway.

"I'll get my own shadow, so I'll spend some time here training, and if Luffy appears, I might go to Thriller Bark, but I prefer to do it with my own hands, so I'll bet on my training. When I'm strong enough to go to Thriller Bark, I'll leave here. If the Straw Hats appear, I'll hitch a ride with them before launching an attack against Moria." Brook reflected in the midst of darkness.

Brook looked at his body again with a glint of determination. "Let's train and strengthen this body. Brook never trained his body in the pre- and post-timeskip, just improved his voice with singing, fencing, and developed his fruit. It's time to use this tedious time here to improve the strength of this strange body!" With that determination, Brook clenched his fist firmly.

Brook raised his skeletal hands and felt the power of the Yami Yami no Mi to test if he really possessed it, with that, his hands began to create a black mist as he had seen with Teach in the original work.

"This is good, but not useful now, I'll leave developing the fruit for a year, for now, I'll just focus on the body and strengthen it. I have a lot of time and no one will bother me here." Brook sighed and deactivated the darkness in his hand.

"Anyway, let's start." Brook said, lowering his body to the wooden floor, he began to do push-ups, hoping to start his training immediately.

"1,2,3,4...29, 30!" He said, grunting and collapsed right after the last attempt, without strength in his arms, or rather, bones.

"Only 30?! I'm as weak as the body I had in my previous life, but I know that people in One Piece can evolve immensely with hard training, Koby is proof of this as are others." He said calmly.

He waited a little while for his bones to improve after feeling them quite weak, Brook had nothing else to do but wait for his recovery to continue, as there wasn't much to do on that abandoned ship. After some time, he finally returned to his focus.

"My body has recovered a bit of energy, let's do another training session..." He commented to himself, resuming his push-ups, so on that ship there was a being close to the ground, his skeletal form striving in an unceasing quest for improvement, a solitary figure at the heart of the enigmatic Florian Triangle, where time seemed to have stopped, but no one in the world imagined that there was a leviathan being born, someone who would one day cover the world with darkness, even the navy, world government, pirates, and revolutionary armies, all would be caught by this darkness born amidst the darkness of those waters.
