Chapter 06: Concert-2

We arrived at the venue Millennium Park Building that was fully decorated with lights. There were lots of people queuing at the entrance waiting for their turn to get inside the hall. "Are you ready?" Marcus asked. "As ready as ever." Ruby replied and followed Marcus to the entrance.

After queuing for a while, soon it was our turn to get inside. Marcus took out the 2 tickets from his pocket and shown it to the ticket-officer at the entrance. After checking it, the officer signaled us to go. Marcus's arm were linked together with mine. "Let's the fun begin." He said. I nodded and smiled.

Once we entered, the sound of people chatting disappeared, there's only silenced replacing their footsteps. Everyone was staring, their attention shifted all to Ruby. They couldn't help but gasp as she's wearing a long black dress with a high side slit. The back of the dress was backless up to her waist showing her every curve. She was looking gorgeous and beautiful in that dress, each and every guy in the hall is starring at her with lust which made me mad.

While walking toward our floor, Marcus was greeted by a familiar face. She can tell that was the same man that she met during her last auction function with her parents four months ago. "Hello! Mr. Marcus Huang. Ms Ruby Tang. How are you?" Mr. Wang of Phileo Corporation greeted them, brought out his hand and shake with Marcus and mine. "It is a pleasure to meet both of you here." Marcus glanced at the middle-aged bellied man. "How do you do, Mr Wang. Its also our pleasure to meet you here." After a short chat, we headed to our seats.

Out of a sudden, Marcus wrapped around her waist in his arms and walked toward the designated floor. The floors were divided into two floors. The ground floor were catered for the fans and the middle earning individuals. While the top floor, each had an individual room for four was catered for the VVIP and the rich ones. The only people allowed to walk in this area were only the workers.

The view in the halls were amazing. I could see numerous dazzling galaxies as I walked to the command room. Slowly Marcus headed toward empty room leads by one of the worker, leaving the bright galaxies behind. I had hoped we would have stayed among them longer. The view was truly breathtaking.

The room that Marcus booked were the 2nd room nearer to the stage. It has the best seating view of the concert stage. The room and couch were specified to their status, coloured in gold with red. Ruby felt surprised and delighted. Every single group in their own individual room was from the most prestigious families. Mr Wang and his partner were located at the fifth room.

The show was absolutely spectacular! We loved every minute of it! The electricity coming from the stage was amazing. The sparks were flying and the band.. they were so awesome! As we watched, we talked and laugh, apparently shouting and singing along with songs we've loved for years. Its was some of our best nights out together.

After the concert, my thoughts were interrupted by the compelling food. I realized I had not ate dinner and I could hear my stomach grumbling. As we proceed out from the concert hall, Marcus lead me into a lift and pressed no.3. As the lift opened on 3rd floor, we walked out and noticed a waiter greeted us. It was a Chinese Szechuan restaurant.

"Hello, Sir. Hello Ma'am." He said. "A table for two?" Marcus nodded and the waiter lead us to a table near the window. We sat down at the table where the waiter handed us the menu. We flipped through the menu to see what we can order. Marcus asked. "What do you want eat?" "Anythings." I said. I turned to Marcus again. "What d you want eat?"

He glared at me and starts ordering 3 dishes and 1 soup. The foods served were simple yet delicious. We ate the Braised Beef cooked with brocolli and scallion, Kung Pao Chicken, a Sichuan-style dish cooked with dried chili and fried peanuts, Ginger Soy Fish, crispy with mouth-watering sauce topped with ginger and scallion. Lastly served was this Mango Pudding, made with coconut milk and mango.

After an hour or so, the dinner was ended smoothly. We just smiled and sat back down and sipped our Chinese tea. On leaving the table, I gave him a glad, grateful look, an embrace of ardent affection, then laying my cheek to his. "Marcus dear, you have made me feel very happy today. Thank you." I said, pecked his lips lightly. "You're most welcome, my precious." He said with a quizzical smile.

While inside the Porshe on our way home, we chatted about everything that happened today. Then I suddenly felt tired, lay back down on my back to my seat and watch the night sky for a while remembering all the good times we had.. slowly I fell asleep. As his Porshe pulled up infront of my house, he woke me up. "Darling woke up, we've reached your house....."
