"Jane, I'm not eating."

"If you were eating then you'll have to buy your's separately."

"Are you saying you can finish all six burgers?" He asked raising his brow.

She nodded her head.

He shook his head. "You kind of eat a lot you know. And I'm not seeing the effect of the food you're eating."

She raised a brow at him. "How do you mean?"

"You're weightless for someone who eats much." He said and walked to the round table that was arranged in the restaurant.

She puffed her cheeks. "I'm not weightless okay." She muttered to herself and walked to sit opposite him on the table.

She noticed how quiet the place had been since they stepped inside. She had even overheard some people murmuring.

"Gosh! Isn't that the man from the Wang's party?" Said a woman who was sitting down few meters away from her table.

"Yes he is. Oh my gosh. He is so handsome." Said the other woman on the table.

"Yes. I wouldn't mind if I have him for a night. "

"Me too." She said smiling. "I also think he'll be so good in that part."

"Yes girlfriend. I don't even mind if we do it right here and right now."

"Hahaha. Gosh. I'm all wet for him. I want him bad."

"Me too." 

They spoke sounding and looking lust.

Jane felt like going to beat them up black and blue. But it was of no use. She knew she was powerless to do such a thing. Her eyes caught another woman talking to her friend beside her. Because she was gifted with the power of reading lips perfectly, she understood all what they were discussing about.

"Who's that ugly girl sitting down close to such an handsome man. Please don't tell me is his wife or his girlfriend." She said sounding irritated.

"Yeah. She's so ugly. Who knows. Maybe she might have paid him to act as her boyfriend just to show off." 

"You're right. Girls do that these days. I'm sure a handsome guy like him wouldn't want to be interested in such an ugly girl."

"Yeah. She's so ugly for him. Tsh."

She immediately broke eye contact from them as tears were threatening to fall. She held a grip of herself and looked at the man who was sitting across her, staring blankly at her with his arms crossed.

"W..Why are you staring at me like that uhn?" She asked trying to sound okay with her clenching her dress into tight balls.

He didn't say anything but kept on looking at her.

She simply ignored him and kept her head down. She knew if anything were to come out of her mouth, it would be the sound of crying. So she had to pull herself together.

"It's ready." He said and got up.

She had already lost her appetite from this things she heard and she had no choice but to follow behind him to take their orders. She kept hearing whispers about them, that she wasn't the perfect woman to be with him, she was too ugly and he'd probably cheat on her with someone more beautiful and sexy. Her heart broke and her body began to tremble as the tears were forcing it's way out. She blinked her eyes a few time to stop the tears from rolling down her cheek.

"Thank you ma'am." Said the waitress handing her the orders.

She took her orders with a shaking hand and a faint smile hovered her lips. She noticed that he wasn't beside her and that didn't bother her up. She turned around to walk out of the restaurant only for a warm lips to welcome her.

Everyone stood up from their seats and started taking pictures and videos of the whole kissing scene.

His lips on her's was so warm as if it meant more than just a kiss. Her shattered heart reunited together from the way he kissed her and how he held her tiny waist. The crowd murmured and kept taking pictures and videos as they kissed like a perfect couple.

He broke the kiss gently and caressed her face warmly staring at her eyes lovingly.

"Let's go home wife." He said reaching the ears of the crowd.

Some of them gasped in shock as if this was too good to be true.

Jane blinked her eyes not understanding what was going on or why he did what he just did.

He kissed her forehead and gently carried her in his arms. She blushed hard as he carried her pass the crowd that had become a little obstacle for them.

"Oh gosh. I'm so jealous." Said a woman in the crowd.

"Me too. Who would have thought that such a breathtaking handsome man loves such a girl even if she's not that pretty."

"You're right. I'm so going to post this on all social media platforms for the world to see."

"I'm also going to do the same. This is so cute."
