AVA'S POV
"Knock knock" the sound on my door woke me up.
I stared at my alarm clock and it was just 7am
Who could it be.
I stood up sluggishly with my phone in my hand and opened the door. It was Xavier and Liam.
"What are you both doing here this early?" I asked them and they stared at me with an 'are you being serious face'
"What?" I asked again
"You're not ready?" Liam asked
"Ready for what?" I asked
"C'mon Ava. Didn't I tell you we would be going to my place today" Xavier asked
"Well yea, but never thought it would be this early" I said
"Just go freshen up. It's a long ride"Liam said
"But breakfast…"
"You'll take it at my place" Xavier said
"Don't keep us waiting" He said and they both walked away
It seems that they are getting along.

After taking my time, doing my makeup and putting on a nice dress. I finally walked outside the dorm.
I saw the both of them standing in front of their cars.
"Wow, you look pretty" Liam said and I smiled, more like blushed
"I've seen better. Let's go" Xavier said
"Huh?"
"Oh that's right. Who will you ride with?" Liam asked
Xavier stared at me and entered his car.
"Make your pick fast Ava. Me or Mr cold over there" Liam said again. Then savior's word came flashing in my head;
"Stay away from Liam"
Do I really have to make a choice?
"I.. I'll go with Xavier" I said to Liam and got into Xavier's car
Liam looked disappointed. Well, it is what it is.
"You could have gone with Liam" Xavier said
"I don't wanna" I said
"Why?" He asked
"None of your business. Can we just go?" I asked
"Sure" he said and started the car
Just then my phone beeped. It was a text from savior;
"Are you busy at school? Wanna come see you"
I smiled on reading the text
"Who's that? Your boyfriend?" Xavier asked
"Mind your own business" I said to him
"Oh so he is your boyfriend huh? never thought someone like you had one"
"What's that supposed to mean? You know what forget it. At least now you know I'm not crushing on you"
"Okay" he said
Yeesh he's a pain in the ass
I texted back to savior;
"Sorry savior, remember the music assignment I told you about? Turns out we're going to Xavier's house. Sorry I can't meet up with you"
"Don't worry, just be careful" he texted back and I smiled. Xavier just stared at me.

The ride was long. Was his place that far from the academy?
We finally got to a gate and he placed his hand on a screen at the side of the gate and the gate opened..
Fancy…
He drove in and Liam did same. I got down from the car and wow
The house was huge. I always knew he was rich but this house was beyond what I expected
There were flowers planted all over the house.
"Is this really where you stay?" I asked him
"You haven't seen a house this big before?" Liam asked
"Not that. I just wanted to be sure"
"Yes it's my house. Can we go in now?" He asked and we trailed behind him
An old lady walked towards us.
"Xavier, how've you been? I've missed you" she said and hugged him
Was it his mom? She was pretty old though
"I've missed you too nanny" he said hugging her tightly
So he can be this sweet?
"Nanny this are my schoolmates, Ava and Liam"
"Oh" she said
"Ava, Liam, this is my nanny, Nanny Claire"
"Hi" Liam said
"Nice meeting you ma'am Claire " I said to her
" You're pretty" she said to me and I smiled
"Thank you"
"Are you Xavier's friend?" She asked
"No nanny, she's just here for our assignment" Xavier said and I don't know why it hurts
"Alright I'll go make you guys something to eat"
"Thanks nanny"

🎶 "I'll always love the smile on your face" we all sang as Xavier played the piano
"You have a nice voice Ava" Liam said
"Thank you"
" But you need to work on it" Xavier said. Then his phone rang
"Excuse me, I should take this"

We both heard the sound of the glass breaking.
I ran towards the direction the sound was coming from while Liam stayed put.
It was Xavier. He threw a bottle at the window and there was blood dripping from his hand.
"Xavier? Are you okay?" I said and he turned to me looking scared and terrified.
