Ugh, Rich People Problems

"You want me to WHAT?!"

Elle Edwards had never met this girl in her life and what she was proposing was completely crazy. She had been leaving her terrible job as a cashier for a Burger Barn when she was approached and her initial instinct had been to attack with pepper spray. It was a good thing she didn't do that though. This stranger wasn't a threat, even if she was off her rocker.

"You would only be taking my place for a week," the girl begged. "Please, I'll pay you $10,000 for your trouble."

Elle's knees buckled. $10,000?! That was nearly a whole semester's worth of tuition! Who in the world was this stranger to be able to offer so much money for a bizarre favor?

"Why?!"

The girl sighed. "My dad is forcing me to go to this stuffy cruise on a giant yacht that's meant to help the young people in my social circle bond. Said he would cut off my credit cards if I didn't but I'm already supposed to go on vacation with my boyfriend that week."
