Chapter 15 - BEAUTIFUL EYES

(BEAUTIFUL EYES)

“Time gave a rather interesting experience to my husband Brian, forgive me!! I meant late husband, may his soul rest in peace. Would you like a tour of the house Mr Anderson? You are my guest today of course.” Victoria said as he smiled looking at Adam with sparkish kind of eyes. James stood right next to them with a face of disbelief letting himself enjoy the whole situation unravel itself. While offering his arm for miss Victoria to be able to walk next to him properly as a lady, he then said, “You mentioned that Mr Brian does not live with you due his unfortunate death, how did that happen? I do not remember that being part of the story.”

James interrupted Adam with, “The story which you read Adam is adaptation from an unknown writer, it was a tale which they hoped was how the whole novel really took place. The writer has never really been identified till this day.”

The house looked lonelier than one would hope a fairy tale castle would look, other than herself, there weren’t any people at sight. Victoria had an impeccable way of carrying herself, with a sense of poise and pride, she walked with grace, barely having her hand placed on Adam’s arm, she introduced the two men to a room which she believed to be her favourite place in the whole castle. She called it 'The Library'. It was a room which had one small desk with two chairs right next to it and a black book on top of the desk. It looked like a novel, but the book did not have any name or author written on it.

"Brian Anniston was a beautiful man with a gorgeous soul, one of my biggest achievements in that novel. I wrote the novel in order to escape from myself a little, as a way to be able catch a breath of fresh air after gasping for air for a long time without being able to find any. But I guess I got engrossed in it a little too much in the past. Would you like to read the book Mr Anderson?" said Victoria as she stood in front of the book, she looked like she had a sort of fear which made her keep a certain amount of distance from the book.

Adam watched attentively as Victoria spoke about the book with a huge smile on her face and said, "The house looks somewhat familiar, it's a beautiful house, is it also part of the reason behind the house in the novel?" Victoria turned her head away from the book, walked away from the desk right in front of a wall in the room and said, "You know, I remember coming up with a picture of how Brian would be, it was a very long and painful period for me but I could return a smile for the moon every night while painting his portrait. The rest of the story took care of itself, he was very beautiful that is the reason why the story turned out so beautiful. Would you like to see the Portrait?"

When the door opened on the wall which Victoria was standing in front of. A portrait of a man with beautiful teary eyes, a handsome smile and dimples to top it al out. He wore a white shirt and hair which was groomed gorgeously. James started to read out what was written on the first page of the novel which was on the desk. He said, "THE SUN SHINES ESPECIALLY BRIGHT WHEN FLOWERS ARE IN FULL BLOOM, WITH EMMENCE BEAUTY OF EACH LILLY WHICH RESONATES SHARPLY, AND A SMILE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE FIRST STRIKE OF SUNLIGHT AT DAWN."

Adam starred brightly at the portrait, pacing left and right in order to get the best view of it. While he looked at the painting with teary eyes he suddenly spoke and said, "He looks like he is stuck in this portrait, more like he can't allow himself to move on from a certain event."

James interrupted Adam with, "It was the night he died, the night our Miss Victoria killed her real husband, .......
