chapter 1

Let's start from the beginning. My name is, well, I will get back to you on that. We have more important matters. Allow me to tell you a bit about my history, and then we will get started. When I was young, I didn't have the so-called parents most kids had; they left me when I was 12. So you can imagine how hard it was to continue to live without money. Now let's get started on my life and the choices I made, whether good or bad.

(First POV)

Today started like any other day. I woke up, went into the bathroom, took a shower, and brushed my teeth. After all was done, I went downstairs to go to the kitchen. I just saw things looking a little different, and the atmosphere was cold and dry. I felt my throat being dry and hard to breathe. I look to see certain things missing, like the family dinner TV and the once-greatest couch that my family and I would sit on during the weekend and watch movies or play games was missing. Now that I am walking around, I see that picture is broken, and my head tore for them or crossed out with a pen. I'm looking around, crying, and trying to figure out what's going on. I decided to look around for my parents and call them, but nothing. I go to the place where the refrigerator was and see a folded and cranked-up piece of paper. I picked it up, hoping that it would be a clue as to what happened here. I opened it up to look at what it says, and it reads:

Nothing in this world could have prepared me for what this hell of a message said, and honestly, if you were to give me a piece of paper that said what this said, while saying it from my parents, I would just laugh at you and say, Get out of my face. Would you sit there and believe that your loving family—the ones you truly loved and trusted with all your heart—would just up and leave you? Yea I didn't think so. It's honestly so funny how you could love someone so badly that when they leave, you don't believe it and want it to be fake, like me. Now the letter says:

Dear: the ungrateful mistake of a person; we no longer want to be in a family with you or even see you. You being in our lives is like a plague, so we pack up and take everything with us. We changed our names and looks and moved far away. Don't ever come near us again, and we hope you have a terrible rest of your life like how you made ours.
