The Start of A New Life

Hello my lovelies, this is my first book that I've decided to finally work on with my ideas that I've had for awhile now. I would like to thank my lovely and amazing girlfriend and wifey Hope Hael for inspiring me to write this book, and as always, comment anything you would want me to put in the chapters or if you want me to revise anything.

I never thought my life could've changed for the worst, but it did. Not only did my pack abandon me but I was now also a rogue, on my own, trying to survive my own personal Hell, but enough of that. My name is Jason Raedwulf, I have dark brown hair with dark caramel brown eyes, I'm currently 19 and I'm on the run from my worst nightmare, the hunters. I'm currently the last of my family and no one knows that I'm alive, I'm currently living in Charlotte, NC and going to college at UNC Charlotte. My dorm mate is a guy named Hunter with light brown short hair with forest green eyes, he is a shifter like me who is dating a sweet and caring girl with platinum hair and green eyes, her name was Wren. I walked into my dorm room, seeing Hunter wasn't around right now I took the time to work on my studies, I fell asleep at my desk after a bit.

After an hour or so, a subtle knock happened on the door. I looked at the time. "11:30 pm, who could possibly be roaming around this damn late at night?" I think to myself before I head to the door

"Who is it?" I asked as I reached the door.

"A classmate" a soft voice said from the other side of the door.

I looked through the peephole and saw a blonde girl I recognized from one of my classes, I didn't trust a lot of people since of my past. "What is it?" I asked as I open the door a crack

"I was wondering if you wanted to meet up tomorrow to work on our project we got assigned?" She asks looking at me.

"Yeah sure, text me the time and I'll meet you" I say before closing the door and yawning a bit, being exhausted as I head to bed, I didn't trust this one bit but she seemed innocent enough to trust at the moment. I soon knocked out into a nightmare about my past. I felt like I couldn't wake up but soon the nightmare changed into a vision of an ash blonde coyote and my black wolf in a snowy clearing part of the forest, looking at each other, the coyote was familiar but I couldn't place a face or a name to the coyote. I woke up from the nightmare turned dream in a cold sweat, I looked over at my alarm clock, 4:35 am.

"Great....still damn early. Gives me more time to hopefully fall asleep." I say to myself before I laid in the darkness the rest of the time, not realizing I passed out again until my alarm clock went off at 7 am.
