Chapter 118 - Dungeon Exploration 1

Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and they saw a handsome young man with blonde hair and green eyes. He wore a long white coat with a glowing blood-red collar, black pants and shoes, small earrings, and a simple gray undershirt.

"We are talking about that anomaly you told us about." 

The old elf said, causing the man who came in to raise his brow. As he said,

"We all have a job to do, Don't we?" 

He said as he understood what was happening as he looked towards the tanned man.

"Don't tell me you are afraid of a single human. I don't want to imagine what will happen when you face Ashborn again." 

The handsome man said smiling arrogantly at the tanned man which caused his killing intent to shoot through the roof, As he said in a low voice.

"Don't get ahead of yourself." 

Everyone knew why he was angry as his sore spots were poked.

"Hey, can I go and kill those mortal?"  

The woman with a voluptuous body said licking her lips sadistically.

"No, Querehsha you haven't completely integrated with the body. It isn't a good choice for you to go out now." 

The old elf said as he looked toward his 'comrade'.

"What a shame. The will of this mortal is way higher because she was a strong magic user. Well, I'll conquer it soon anyway." 

She said as she started to think about how to kill people ruthlessly again. But there was a voice in her head only she could hear. It was the remaining will of her vessel but she just gleefully smiled.

"So what are we going to do now? Are we going to leave them alone?"

The tanned man said annoyed at the individual around him.

"I already prepared for this. I have sent someone to the dungeon that humans entered. And gave them the artifact that masks mana. He will be taken care of and if somehow they're defeated then we'll have clear knowledge of how strong they are or if it's worth our time."

He explained to them since it would be unfortunate if their vessel suddenly sustains damage when they're preparing for the upcoming war. 

"Not to mention, those Rulers would have noticed them and acted accordingly if we presented ourselves this early."

The handsome man gave his opinion knowing that they're main enemy could suddenly interfere if they did something.  

"So I believe finding Ashborn's vessel and killing the ruler's vessel is our priority. After the catastrophe is brought on that island and the human world is reinforced. We can start our war against the rulers in full force." 

After saying that the handsome man opened a portal and vanished. The tanned man clicked his tank as he also vanished.

Ryuu returned home having sensed something ominous were observing him and his innate skill [ Intuition ] is telling him that it was the monarch. 

'They are likely going to send someone to fight us. Either it's a marshall or Grand marshal…a fitting to join my army.'

He thought of absorbing them to allow him to make the monster join his [ Hivemind ]. Ryuu arrived back home spreading his senses and found everyone in the backyard waiting for him. 

"How was your evaluation?"

Justine asked, looking at him and sat down next to Kanae and Shinobu. 

"It was alright, I just made the main heroine…"

Ryuu said looking at them sensing that they were quickly planning on interviewing her if she was going to join them.

"That aside, are you girls interested in leveling up today?"

He asked since they still need to prepare and get stronger enough that they won't die in an instant. 

"We don't mind and I'm curious how it feels to choose a job."

Rias said since she bought the Death Mage novel from the [ Store ] finding out how deep the Job System really was. 

"Indeed, I believe we waste too much time familiarizing ourselves in the new world."

Erza said battle ready to slice through their enemies. 

"I doubt it will increase my power but it wouldn't hurt to try."

Lucifer said having no interest in actually making herself grow stronger. She was already strong in her opinion. Everyone had agreed and took out his [ Yamato ] after all of them were ready.

Dungeons. A place that is only accessible through the phenomenon called Gate. It is another dimension that in truth is called Chaos world. 

It is classified from E, D, C, B, A and S. E are not worth mentioning for their lack of challenge that only produces mostly E ranks that are easily defeated by hunters. A E rank monster is normally as strong or stronger than wild animals therefore it isn't much of a threat to a normal human who has a gun. 

D and C rank hunters are for those who are well capable of fighting and have experience killing monsters. Dungeons do not only spawn monsters but also their natural environment making some Hunters to be extra careful and prepared if they wish to venture to such a place. Soon a crack opened and Ryuu with his group appeared wearing their battlegear.

"So this is what a dungeon is like huh?"

Justine said looking at the place that was like dense forest and coke her first as she  prepared to use her [ Gilgamesh Gauntlet ] to slaughter some monsters as they headed deeper to the dungeon while Nezuko was more intrigued at the monster they would capture.

"I wonder what kind of monster we get in this. Ryuu can we take some of them back?"

Nezuko turned to face Ryuu who was using his [ Byakugan ] , allowing him to accurately map out the dungeon and how strong the creatures were.

"Sure, they seem to be at least D-rank. A good start for us to level up." 

He was already planning on growing the monster within his [ Hivemind ] to continuously mutate them and raise their ranks. Meanwhile, Nezuko's eyes lit up burning with excitement….literally.

"Nezuko, control your flames."

Kie scolded her daughter who gave an apologetic smile toning down her flames. 

"This reminds me of the time when I had my training."

Trese looking around finds the place interesting since this is the first time she got into a completely different dimension.  

"How strong are the creatures inside this place?" 

Rias curiously since she can't accurately gauge the power scale since they're in different worlds.

"At most around Middle Class Devil, I guess. What looks to be a variety of Dinosaur."

He said the last part with enthusiasm that everyone noticed. 

"You're rather excited, Ryuu?"( Kie )

Look at Ryuu who couldn't help but keep looking around and seemingly couldn't take his excitement. He was the one who has been eager to be here ever since they arrived.

"Come on, this place has Dinosaurs! I only saw them from television and always dream of having my own zoo!"

Ryuu acted like a child as he said since he's been a dinosaur and dragon fanatic ever since he had been a child.

"Fufufu you sound rather cute when you are enthusiastic!"

"I agree, he's acting like the children back home." 

Kanae giggled watching Ryuu while Shinobu gave a faint smile, never expecting him to act this way since he is normally serious yet laid back. 

"What's a dinosaur?"

Erza was ignorant of the creature from Ryuu's world. 

"It's a sort of creature that lived in the past in another world. Consider them as wingless wyvern."

Rias answered the best way she could describe it and make it easier for her to understand.

"I see, but why is Ryuu all excited?"

"Well, Ryuu always did want to visit a dinosaur museum but never had the chance."

Justine smiled proudly to see Ryuu finally fulfilling his long time dream of having a dinosaur pet.

"Oh I remember accidentally killing them in the past."

Lucifer said being the cause of the dinosaurs massive extinction when she uses her power. After walking several minutes, the group finally encountered their first monster who appeared in groups roaring at them.

"Whoa! Raptors!!"

Ryuu exclaimed, observing the raptors who were running towards them. He conjured blood turning them into chains to bind the raptors in order to tame them. 

"Are you going to tame it, Ryuu?"( Nezuko )

"Of course I will. Hold on."

The raptors were at least 5 and the group went closer with Ryuu using [ Hypnosis ] to give to Nezuko. Ryuu instantly felt the change and addition to his body, opting him to smile and unbind the raptors who became tamed moving their way to Nezuko who excitedly rode the thing.

"Nezuko be careful!" 

"Yahoo! Let's go!!"

She happily rode it having undying loyalty for her making sure one of them is and the rest were added to Ryuu's [ Hivemind ] turning them into Xenomorph Raptors surprising Rias and Erza.

"What did you do to them?
