Chapter 88 - Kit-Kat

Ryuu came back to his mansion with a wide grin on his face considering things turned out alright even though Justine was still upset but it's understandable since he broke her heart. He moved his way through the city room till reach the private property.

It didn't take him much long to take him home and soon entered his home. Ryuu headed inside and he opened his phone to see it was still empty. He could vaguely guess that his parents went back to their old home out of habit.

He could have made the same mistake if he couldn't recall it. Ryuu didn't cook anything knowing that his parents would arrive where they had already eaten.

Ryuu remembered telling them to have a date and giving them a stack of cash. He wasn't worried about them getting hurt since there's a protection place on them if there ever is a threat.

He heads to the dimensional room after leaving a temporary clone to let him know if his parents arrive. Ryuu saw his lovers on the bed wearing their nightgowns, made him smile and laid beside them. Kanae was on top this time while Mitsuri and Shinobu were on the side.

"Did you girls enjoy yourself today?"

"We did and there are many more interesting things I want to see." ( Kanae )

"I'm curious to see what Japan and how it look like after a hundred years."( Kie )

"Well me too, I want to see people react if I were to pretend that what do you call them, Ryuu?" ( Nezuko )

Ryuu said and they nodded since it would be better to train and maintain their abilities. Though, they wouldn't be able to improve much without proper enemies and would still be able to sharpen what they have. Soon their mind drifted off and fell asleep.

The next morning, Ryuu went back to his home leaving the others for now as he had to buy the clinic and paperwork for Kanae and Shinobu. Furthermore, his perfect clone is currently buying a restaurant for him and gathering information.

He went to the kitchen and heard something that made him rush to see what happened but only warily smiled upon seeing his mother having trouble with the kitchen.

"Wait, I might have broken it!? What should we do!?"

"Hold on, let me try."

Ryuu seeing them after 3 years may have been a blink in the eye for them but it was still difficult thinking how they were doing despite knowing nothing much had passed. Seeing them having trouble and worrying about the simple appliance made him wholeheartedly laugh.

Hearing him laugh, they saw their son noticing something had changed around him but unable to put it into words. Ryuu made sure of his younger appearance since he is still trying to hide everything for now.

"What the heck are you two doing?"

"Son, can you help us? You're the one who bought it."

"Sure dad, I might as well cook for you."

"No, let me do it since we want to repay everything."

Ryuu wanted to refute but he desired his mother's cooking so that nothing comes close to her even compared to his. The meal he cooks may be godlike but doesn't have the nostalgia of mother's cooking.

He nodded, walking his way to help them set up the stove before his mother started cooking. Ryuu and his father sat down on the table letting his mother do her work.

His father kept taking quick glances at Ryuu who looked at him with a warily smile. He knew that his father was a bit suspicious considering there are his parents and no one else who knows better than them.

"Hey son…did something good happen while we're gone?"

"Nothing, maybe it's just your imagination considering we're in a new place?"

"Nice observation but my son wouldn't be smart to think about something like that."

"....ouch, dad. Do you take me as an idio-"

"Yes."

His father bluntly said that made him sweatdropped. He couldn't deny his father to be correct since he's always been honest and couldn't make a good lie.

"Well whatever your secret is, I just hope you'll tell us eventually."

His father, Fujin, nodded , not wanting to pry his son's secret out of respect. Ryuu appreciated his father's consideration and chatted, which made him nostalgic.

"Hey dad I was wondering what if we visit grandma in the summer?"

"Oh that's right, you haven't seen her since you were a little baby?? Sure I think she would be delighted seeing after less than two decades being separated."

"Also, are you going to work today?"

Ryuu recalls that his father still had a job that had a recent incident with the supernatural and made a mental note to visit that woman Trese to obtain Mahika.

'Either consume a supernatural creature or just learn it but whatever I choose it would be the same.' Ryuu thought to himself.

"Well yeah I don't want to be lazy but I'll cut my work hours."

Ryuu nodded as his mother soon arrived with a simple meal that made him quiver and tried not to be emotional. It was just fried spam and eggs on top of rice.

He took a bite and despite the bland flavor compared to his was beyond words. Ryuu would have cried if he hadn't removed his tear glands.

'Nothing beats a mother's cooking!' He commented that even with near godly cooking still preferred the nostalgic taste of his parent's cooking.

"My my, I've never seen you so eager to eat my cooking before? Did something happen??"

His mother, Mia smiles seeing her son devouring the meal that could easily make someone choke but Ryuu doesn't need to breathe since his cell could absorb oxygen in the surrounding.

Ryuu realized his action slowed down but smiled as they continued their breakfast before he went back to his room and his father headed to work while his mother decided to visit some of her friends.

Now he was laying on the bed when his phone rang and saw that everyone was more active was more.

Ryuu smiled and explained everything regarding the reward but only the basics to avoid them knowing his true ability. He matured enough to know sharing all your series would be fatal but at the same time it feels there are plenty of pros than cons if he doesn't share it.

Regardless, He trusts them but not enough since their personality may be different when in person. Ryuu has already seen it first hand with his lovers.
