(....to have and to hold
from this day forward,
for better for worse,
for richer for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish
until death do us part.....)
Thirteen months later.
I was clad in a white shiny aquarius wedding dress flowing in tiered mermaid. It had an illusioned corset back, a sweetheart front and tiered sleeves. A multi strand necklace covered my chest incredulously, (it was one masterpiece from royal England. The Royal Queen garment auction). I seemingly was taller due to the D'Orsay pumps. My hair was done in a neat French tendril twist.
When I looked at him, I was full of excitement. When he winked I felt like I needed to fly to where he was and hug him tight and never let go.
He was in a traditional black tux exhibiting a navy blue shawl collar with a U-shaped vest and gold lining. He had also monogrammed gold cufflinks that had our couple initials. He had a gold watch on his wrist too. He wore black laced Balmoral shoes.
