Don't doubt my feelings

"Why are you silent? Is my cooking not good?" Kevin asked changing the subject.

"A little salty," Luna replied as long as she hadn't tasted it, she wasn't in the mood to eat her breakfast after what happened.

"I should have added more salt," Kevin said disappointed making Luna confused.

"Why? We can get our blood pressure can rise at the same time if the fried rice is too salty..."

"You know the saying that if a person cooks and the food is salty it means he wants to get married soon."

"Really? So you want to marry Monic right away?"

Oh like Luna was still annoyed with him, Kevin then shifted his seat to be closer to Luna.

"I don't want us to fight over Monic. I don't love her, I just love you."

Luna was silent, Luna was not unsure Kevin would succeed in fulfilling the conditions given by her father but she was afraid that Monic would take over Kevin's heart.

"I'm afraid you'll fall in love with her..." Luna said quietly, Kevin could feel the sadness in Luna's heart.

Hearing Luna's words, Kevin then took out a ring from his pocket and put it on Luna's ring finger without asking.

"My heart has been tied with this ring ... believe me even if I forget everything I will not forget you and my feelings for you ..." Kevin said reassuringly.

Kevin then opened the ring on his ring finger, the ring that Luna thought was her engagement ring with Monic.

"Put me on..."

"Monic has dressed it for you, Kevin. Why should I bother re-dressing it?" Luna was getting louder and louder, she couldn't hide her irritated face anymore.

"I wore it myself, actually I threw away my engagement ring with Monic to thwart our engagement. The ring I've been wearing is the couple's ring which is now on your ring finger, baby..."

Luna was silent, does that mean Kevin and Monic aren't officially engaged yet? Slowly, though hesitantly, Luna tried to put a ring on Kevin's ring finger making Kevin smile.

"Monic will be suspicious if we wear the same ring." Said Luna for a moment stopped her intention.

"My ring color is black and yours is white at first glance it looks different but if you look closely at the model, look..." Kevin explained, what Kevin said was true from afar but if he put them together everyone would know if they were a couple.

Now without hesitation, Luna pinned the ring on Kevin's ring finger shyly.

"So we're engaged now?" Kevin asked teasingly.

"I don't know..." Luna answered shyly.

"Why like that?"

"You have to propose to me in front of my father then I will consider us officially engaged."

"Okay, I will propose to you but you are my legal fiancé now."

"How could that be?"

"Of course, I can!"

Luna forgot that she would never win an argument with Kevin so she finally gave up and decided to eat but of course, she had to feed Kevin first so he would stop talking.

Luna continued to play with Kevin's ring that was wrapped around her ring finger, occasionally she smiled, and then her smile disappeared again.

Was the decision she made the right one? Has she ruined another woman's happiness? But Monic doesn't love Kevin, right? Her goal is just revenge, right?

"How long will you keep staring at the ring, babe?" Kevin asked as he took Luna's intertwined hands and held them tightly.

"Kevin, I think the gem is too small. Don't you feel too stingy with me?" Luna asked of course she was joking making Kevin laugh.

Luna decided not to think about Monic between them, being selfish isn't always wrong, is it? After all, it was Monic who interfered with her relationship with Kevin just for the sake of revenge so she wasn't wrong.

Now Luna has made up her mind and only looks at her relationship with Kevin now to the future.

Her love will not waver just because of that ambitious woman.

"Okay... I'll buy a bigger one later," Kevin said laughing at Luna's unusual words.

"How about giving your whole heart to me..." Now Luna made Kevin excited, her words sounded like her when she teased Luna in old times.

"My heart is completely yours babe, do I need to take it out? Later you can blush."

Luna smiled at Kevin's absurd words.

"Why would I blush?" Asked Luna defiantly, Kevin smiled meaningfully and quickly pulled the car over and stopped at a quiet corner.

"Because if I take out my heart will continue to call your name softly .." Kevin brought Luna's hand to the surface of his chest which was beating fast.

"Listen... My heart is always calling your name... Can you feel it?" Kevin whispered with the hand that kept pressing Luna's hand on his beating chest.

"I love you, Luna... More than you know and feel. If the depth of the ocean can be measured then my love for you is much deeper so don't ever doubt my feelings for you because it hurts..." Luna was silent, That's how Kevin feels to her. She knew Kevin was only seducing her but her heart melted.

Even so, Luna pretended to look calm, she didn't know if Kevin's seduction was very sweet, maybe if she wasn't in love with Kevin then she would feel disgusted listening, but who would have thought that falling in love could make her feel Kevin's words were the sweetest words ever she had heard.

"The mood this morning was so out of control it was like being on a rollercoaster." Luna suddenly spoke again when Kevin returned to his car.

Kevin suddenly hit the brakes in surprise. Luna said clearly what had been making Kevin's feelings erratic, honestly, he still had to take a cold shower so that his passion subsided so he had been trying not to kiss Luna but the woman sitting next to him was talking about it frankly.

Oh, has the homemade fried rice made Luna brave?

"I like it too..." Kevin said quietly and shyly. Should they continue again in the office later? Or should he bring Luna back to his house? Oh, my mind...

"How can your fried rice be that good?"

"Wait, are you talking about fried rice?"

"I mean earlier you talked about..." Kevin was too embarrassed to continue.

Looks like he needs to take a cold shower now.

"Kevin..." Luna called again when Kevin was about to refocus his thoughts on the street so he wouldn't think about what happened in the apartment earlier.

"Yes?" Kevin answered briefly as he continued to stare straight ahead.

"I'm afraid to disappoint you, what if my feelings are not as much as you love me?"

Kevin was silent, does Luna still doubt her feelings for me?

"I will make you fall in love more every day until our feelings are the same..."

"What if I make a mistake and forget the feelings between us?" Luna asked again.

Kevin thought for a moment, Luna just started to love him but will she easily forget her feelings?

"I will make you remember the beautiful love that binds us today."

"Kevin..."

"Yes, Luna.."

"I love you... I love you so much... So I always feel afraid of losing you, but I will never give up on our relationship."

Luna's smile again made Kevin pull over the car. He then hugged Luna tightly.

"I'm not going anywhere, I will always love you now and forever."

Luna's declaration of love killed him many times but he never got tired of living again and reaching for that love again.
