Load 12: Rising Sun

Whenever mana forms into a dense ball like form and explodes, the surrounding area turns into a place called 'dungeon' where monsters will set up their territory as they are instinctively attracted to places like this due to the high density of mana in the air.

This phenomenon was then called 'Dungeonification' due to the merit it gives.

Since the stronger the monster, better materials can be reap. Sometimes, in rare occasions, what the monster had will become an artifact where its ability can be borrowed.

When the mana concentration is high, monsters will also get stronger as they get exposed to more mana longer.

However, this does not mean that all places with a high density of mana will form dungeons as the phenomenon itself only happens irregularly.

One of the other reasons why dungeons are highly sought after is because normal rocks that are exposed to mana for too long often turn into a mana stone which can be use for many things.

As a Goddess, I cannot enter such places since the dungeon itself will be purified due to my divinity hence it will be of no use.

Leveling up is hard and takes time but I do not have the time to do such things like personally killing hundreds, if not thousands, of monsters to level up.

Not to mention, since I am a deity, it takes forever to level up since 1 level is equivalent to 100 levels for mortals. Which is why it took me 20 years in real time, when I was playing the game, to reach Level <8>.

Taking advantage of my skill <Devour> which turns anything I eat into experience points base on my satisfaction, 2 ultimate moves from powerful individuals such as the tower master and Murphy is more than enough for me to level up.

Although it sounds good and all but I can only use it three times a day, after locking on a target, as it is only Level 1.

And since it is currently my only ability that will allow me to protect myself and attack others, I cannot use it recklessly as danger lurks around every corner.

A moment would be enough for something dangerous to appear right in front of me when I least expect it.

Granting them a wish in exchange for leveling up so soon is nothing for me.

"I did said I wanted to see a fight, but..."

I walked towards the two until I was within arms length away.

"I didn't said that I would allow you to destroy a whole city worth of land, did I."

And since the two were at ease, they were knocked out sooner than I thought.

After getting back to my palace, Rojh and Lavella took care of the sleeping bodies and proceeded with the plan.

It was also just in time for the other envoy to arrive.

A young woman entered the room along with King Elmenz.

The young woman had a charismatic air and strong resolution could be seen base on her expression and manner of walking alone.

The woman was covered in gold accessories and on the cape she wore had the symbol of her homeland. A cross and a golden lion whereas its mane is representing the rays of the sun.

She knelt down just like how she would pray to the God she serves.

"I, crown princess Natalia du Aelius, representing the Aelius empire greets the Goddess of all Bitches!"

"You may raise your head, oh rising sun of Aelius"

"Forgive me for my impertinence, your holiness, however I am not yet the 'Sun' of the empire for I am still unqualified for such a position"

'This headstrong bitch sure is getting on my nerves.'

"I only meant it that you are more than qualified for such a position"

"May I know why you think so, your holiness?"

"Simple, Aelius' emperor, the current sun is mortal and so are you. Just like how each day pass, the sun and moon switch places. That is why I called you the rising sun. Because you will be the one to continue your father's legacy"

The princess bowed down until her forehead touched the ground.

"I understand now, your holiness. I apologize for making such an insolent remark upon your best wishes for me"

The God of Life's plan to usurp my land wouldn't have been possible if Aelius didn't cooperate with them. How could I possibly forget the woman who dragged the royal family of Lagnos to the dungeon just to feed them to monsters.
