Chapter 13- Only for the day to end like this?

The distance between them was Less than Five Feet, As the Mates walked towards the Archive Room. After knowing that her omega mate, doesn't like anyone invading his space, the Alpha was wary not to let her omega be uncomfortable around her.

"Ms. Suzuki?"

Hearing her name, she held her head up and saw the enraged eyes of her Omega.

"Yes sir?"

Scoffing at her counter question, Symon clenched his fist, "Ms.Suzuki. Never. I. Say. That. Never. Ever. Zone. Out. When you are accompanying anyone. Got it?"

Furiously nodding her head, the Alpha gulped and lowered her head only to quickly hold it up remembering her omega's order from earlier.

"I asked you something, but it seems like you are still not in your right mind. Go and call someone else from your team, I don't want you to accompany me to the meeting if you will only zone out again and again." He stopped in his track and turned around only to glare at her.

"I am sorry sir, I swear it will not happen again. Please Sy-Sir." the Alpha who was still cherishing the moment when her omega was concerned about her breathing heavily said. Being the whipped Alpha she is, with Axel adding on his excitement as well she was zoning out again and again remembering his concerned face.

"After the Meeting, you will give me a review of the meeting and after that look up at every deal that was made with our client by other firms and report it to me before eight. Don't even think of getting a helping hand if you don't want to be fired, okay? " he said gritting his teeth and then giving her a sarcastic smile while blinking his Doe-y Eyes.

Which of course for Thea was a cute, cheeky smile. it was the first time her omega smiled at her- even if an evil one, It was one to be cherished the most and will be by Thea for her whole life.

Human-Hold me tight before I fell for him all over again, shouted a blissed-up Axel. Nodding her head and replying a yes sir to her Omega, the now red-cheeked Alpha followed him into the Archive room.

"Find Locker number 47 and bring all the Green colored files to the table" Ordering her the Alpha made his way to the cabinet from which he has to take the files.

Continuing their work in silence, both the mates read and reviewed the files, taking some along them as they got out of the room.

She is so Annoying, whined the boy to his wolf who was rather amused and happy to be around their Alpha. She's not annoying, she just zones out, Symon, and looking at her it feels like, My Alpha is too talkative always bringing her to talk to him. Giggled Kazuto at his human's rants.

"Sir, when should we leave?" asked the alpha bringing him out of his talks.

" In an hour, get your Materials ready," the omega said, going away from his Alpha and towards his office.

Why is he so cold here? He was fine and Laughing with Zen this morning, what happened to him?

The Alpha moved on with her work and readied everything, also carrying her taser, gun with a silencer, and dagger with her in her handbag.

A knock was heard on his door, as he allowed them to come in. Not moving his eyes up from the documents, he asked the one who came to say what they want.

Hearing nothing for 2 minutes, he looked up only to be met by the green eyes of his Best friend, staring at him amused and with a smirk.

Widening his eyes, he lunged forward to hug him.

"Gosh!! Monie, I was just gone for 3 weeks" said a tall man with a loud chuckle, feeling his body being crushed by the smaller male omega, who was not leaving him anytime soon.

"Still, I missed you!! Do you even know what the freakity frack happened in 3 weeks?!" said Symon now facing his best friend with an open mouth and an unbelievable expression.

"Okay, Okay, Leave me, you big Dork. Let me breathe, yeah?" said the Raven-haired tall Man.

Dr. Levi Jones -the only brother, and family of June. Symon's Best-friend who found him when he was at his worst, and helped him overcome it. He is a Mated Beta and has a family already- founding his mate as soon as he was of age and getting married to her was a blessing he had that not everyone got. Being a father of triplets, he sure knows how to handle babies and his omega best friend was nothing but a baby for him- He and his wife's first child is Symon, they tried every parenting technique on him, whenever they had to. They met when Ms.Zara and Mr.Takashi asked Symon if he would be okay, as they decided to let him meet a therapist. Dr.Levi was the one who handled his case and well they became closer than ever, with the Beta's wife visiting them during her pregnancy- they too became the best of friends.

But it is not known by the one who was watching this scene, unfold in front of her. With her eyes flicking to Red, again and again, the Grey-eyed Alpha was clutching her handbag tightly. She knocked on the door, wanting both of them to know of her presence, they pulled away from the hug, and faced the door, only for the alpha to see her omega smirking silently at her way.

"Honey, I have a meeting right now. I will see you in the evening at your home, yeah?" said the Omega with a honey-dripping voice, to his best friend who got the memo quickly and acted along.

"Yes, Darling"

"Please come in Ms. Suzuki." the omega said, fixing his clothes a bit, still smiling.

Did Thea say, she will remember this day for her life? If she did then let the author rephrase it- She will make sure to not ever forget her omega's this behavior. Ever. Oh How, she wanted to just take that gun out and shot this green-eyed tall man's head, how she wanted to chop off the hands which touched her omega.

"Oh, wait-- Levi, were you too invited to the ball?"

"Yes, the whole family is, why?"

"Let's go shop for outfits together, honey. I want to match with our babies" said Symon- as cheekily as he could, to make her Alpha mate furious, Wanting to test her patience-which she is maintaining since she came.

"Sir Symon, Let's go or we will be late for the meeting," she said smiling, even if she was trying to calm her heart and wolf down.

Her mate was waving his hand so hard that it looked like he was a pup waiting for his master to come home soon. It was all too much for her. Her body slumped looking at the full smile of his mate which was not for her- rather for someone with whom her mate was too much comfortable - with the one with whom he has babies?! it all dawned upon her when she saw how the man was still in the office and they left. Her mate trusted the man to even let him be in his office- however voicing it out it seemed like a small matter, as being in your one and only's office is rather normal.

It dawned upon her that how when she was busy building a mafia and searching for him, her mate was having the time of his life. A new family, not even one- Rather two. One in which he was accepted and one which he made with the green-eyed male. She felt guilty for not keeping an eye on her mate since she found out about his life here- Two years ago. She trusted him. Hell- she trusts him with her life and would kill and die for him--but what did he do?! He lost the faith in her.
