A New Stage

The group of five people neared me;2 man and 3 woman. One of the man looked big almost twice the size of others around him stepped forward and looked at me and asked,"Who are you?"

I replied,"I am Kaal. I ascended here from the infinite realities just now. Could you kind enough to introuce me the ins and outs here?"

He said with some suspicion,"An ascender? I am Burkh Lander. Come in for now."

Just then the barrier parted a little in front of me and I entered inside.

The tall burly man said,"Let's go to the tower and talk." and flew together with the 5 people towards the tower in the centre.

I silently followed them and entered the tower with them. They led me in the long winding stairs made by some unknown type of material towards the meeting room in the top of the tower. There was a round table in the room. They sat in the chairs and looked at me and introduced themselves.

The old man of the group looked at me and said his name which was Vincent Lock. The tall blonde woman looked at me and said her name which was Medeline Roy. The short woman with stern eyes looked at me told me her name which was Rose Win. The woman with red hair looked at me and stated her name which was Lucy Puck.

I looked at them briefly as they stated their name and said,"So, Can you introduce me to this world here."

Burkh,"We have to confirm that you are not deceiving us."

"And how are you going to do that?" I asked.

Burkh,"You have to avow on your supreme soul that you don't have any malicious intent against us."

"I vow on my supreme soul that I don't hold any malicious intent towards you and this this city." I vowed solemnly to their satisfaction.

Hearing that they nodded and gave me approving looks.

Burkh,"Now since you don't have any general knowledge of this world I will start from basics. The planet you are on is called Sar-2 which is under the Jurisdiction of the Human sect. This city or stronghold as we call it is the third stronghold of this planet and is called S3. There are currently 7 stronghold on this planet. The strongholds are spread on all the planets under the Jurisdiction of the Human sect to excavate resources from the core of the planet. As for other stuff, I will instruct Judith,the mother AI of this city to explain them. For now, Madeline guide him to the guest room to rest."

I did not ask further and followed Madeline out of the meeting room.

On the way towards guest room I asked Madeline ,"How do the people here cultivate?"

She replied amiably,"The main cultivation system in the sect and other powers here revolve around breaking the 12 shackles on your existence. However that only applies to humans here. Other beings here in the creation domain follow the path of atavism"

I asked,"What are the 12 shackles?"

She said,"The 12 shackles are the immaterial chains that bound your existence. 1st shackle makes you unable to live without staples such as food,water ,air. The 2nd shackles bounds your sixth sense, 3rd shackles bounds you to the earth and so on."

"Are you an ascender too." I asked.

She replied smiling,"Yes, all the humans in the creations domain are ascenders. In fact most of the beings here are ascended, the remaining few are the creations of this infinite reality which gained consciousness spontaneously."

As we kept talking we arrived at the guest room.

She turned towards me and said,"You will be briefed on things things properly tomorrow. You should rest now, you must be tired." And walked away.
